The world of pensions was an unknown quantity to me. When the time came to get a grasp on it Stephen was a friendly, authoritative voice who guided me through the options. He took time to understand my retirement aims and suggested solutions that matched them perfectly. With thoughtfulness, care and foresight he has continued to help me manage my pension pot with the necessary support to leave me in control of decision-making...... and all done with a welcome friendly manner.

Steve was extremely helpful right from the very start. I was a first time buyer so was unsure on how much I could borrow/how it all worked but Steve explained all of it very carefully and kept me updated daily. Our objective when we approached our Independent Financial Adviser was to review our current arrangements with a view to moving to a larger property raising funds on the existing, switching the loan to a 'buy-to-let', renting out for possible capital growth and an additional income stream - all of which, together with ISA's and pensions, will boost plans for a comfortable retirement.

We avoided 'early repayment charges' by porting the existing mortgage to the new property, topping up with a further advance. We also made sure the rent on the let property would be sufficient to cover the buy-to-let lenders criteria.

Our mission has now been accomplished and we've moved into the new place and let the existing to good tenants - but have landlord's insurance with rent protection and accidental damage just in case!!!

We secured the most suitable deal to meet our circumstances and will review these plans on a regular basis as the loans are repaid over the term

One of the reasons I had been so reluctant to move house was the thought of endless emails, phone calls and interviews with banks and building societies. Excellent and professional service provided from Stephen and his team. As first time buyers the whole process seemed a bit daunting initially, but was made easy and straight forward by Stephen. Couldn’t do enough to help and was very knowledgeable. Was able to get us a great deal and will definitely be using him for the foreseeable future when remortgaging time comes. I found TMPP of great help in securing a retirement mortgage - not an easy task on my age and income. Despite two failed attempts at purchase TMPP stuck with it and got a very competitive mortgage from a specialist regional lender. Without TMPP we would not have been able to move. It's as simple as that!
