I needed a root canal that my Beverly Hills dentist quoted at $1,800. HebeDoc did it for $425.
Before contacting HebeDoc, I waited two weeks just to see my U.S. dentist, who then referred me to a specialist. It took another three weeks to get an appointment with the endodontist. When I finally got in, his "diagnostic tool" for determining if I needed a root canal was blowing cold water on my tooth. Yes, really. He wanted $1,823 for a 45-minute procedure.
I called HebeDoc and got an appointment that same week, on Friday. Dr. Ruben, the endodontist, thoroughly examined my tooth, took detailed pictures, and confirmed there was an infection. He used a surgical microscope with 30X magnification for the procedure and periodically took images to ensure every trace of infection was gone before sealing the tooth.
I’m still processing it: Beverly Hills dentist, $1,823 with no advanced tools. HebeDoc in Mexico, $425 with a $50,000, 30X microscope.
America’s dental crisis is often called a “silent epidemic.” While it doesn’t make headlines like other healthcare issues, the lack of affordable, accessible dental care impacts 120 million Americans who are missing at least one tooth they can’t afford to replace. It’s a shameful reality, but HebeDoc is helping to change that.
