Scam company - ordered knife set and received no confirmation of order emails. Tried to call the company but the telephone number on their website doesn't work. Came on here and noticed everyone saying the same thing! Had to open up a dispute with my bank :-(

The knives arrived quickly, communication emails were good and the items are as described. They appear to be good quality with nice 'markings' on the blades, sharp and the handles are nice and heavy. They were safely packaged.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE!!! They took payment but I had no confirmation of the order! No delivery date and no goods arrived. A total scam!!!!
The telephone number on their website is a UK number but when called it has an international dial tone!!!!

Absolutely useless! Think they are a scam. Ordered kitchen knives over a month ago. Despite several emails and trying to find a valid phone no as the one on the website doesn't exist, still no joy. So angry, spent over £70 on gifts for friends and received nothing and now when I get an email it's written to somebody else but comes to my email address. Do NOT touch them.

Absolutely superb support both during the purchase and subsequent dispatch and delivery. These folk must be the most helpful, engaging and professional people I have experienced either online or in-store. First class service folks Thankyou.

Total scam! I ordered the knives three weeks ago, no knives, no response to me emails or calls and no way of getting my money back!! AVOID!!!!!!!

Ordered them 14 days ago and nothing.
I did get a reply from the email address that basically says ‘dunno, must have got caught in customs or something’ albeit in a more professional way.
Sigh.

I ordered a knife , had no tracking available yet they took payment. Called the number on the website ( number was not recognised). Absolutely scam of a site. Do not listen to other reviews saying This isn’t a scam. I’m £40 down and no response from company!!!!!!

Ordered my knife set 11 days ago. Just arrived today, which I thought was quite good considering they came from China (I'm in uk). Knives look good extremely sharp. Very happy with service.

Ordered a knife from Hector knifes before I read the reviews Money was taken and a delivery date of 3-5 working days No sign of the knife after 10 days we started to worry we had been scammed like other customers who had left reviews We went back on the site and I sent an email no reply we really thought that was the end of our money We went back on the site and this time followed tracking there was a detailed account of the delivery process I thought well they are doing everything right considering there was no sign of the knife on the delivery tracking the delivery days had been altered to up to 19 days and on the 19th day the knife was delivered by Royal Mail They were true to their word about the delivery date The previous reviews had us worried but I can say they are not a scam firm and the knife ordered was better than I expected Thank you Hector Knifes

The Japanese kitchen knives arrived 2 weeks late! Poor packaging and havnt tested quality yet.

Very difficult to contact company chasing my order but at least they finally arrived

I had ordered a knife, payment was taken. Nothing turned up so I checked the Royal Mail tracking number, an item was sent from China to an address in London - I live in Devon.
No response from the company. AVOID COMPLETELY

A friend had sent me this company as a recommendation to buy a new kitchen knife. It looked great and came with a personal recommendation, and the website claimed to be based in the UK. I placed an order and when I received my tracking email it stated it was coming from China. On checking the email and doing some research, I realised the email had AliExpress tracking and that that the exact same knife was for sale on AliExpress for 4 X the amount.

Sham of a company. I purchased a knife set and knife block from them in October . Nothing has arrived, tracking takes you to a non existent Italian poste service. Email adddess and phone number also both bogus! In the process of trying to get money back from my credit card company. I have also contacted action fraud. Please avoid at all costs.

Ordered on 01/10/22 it's now 02/11/22 and no sign of my knife, there email address doesn't exist, and neither does there phone number which is a mobile, I've now requested a charge back by my card provider
How this company can have a rating of 2.9 from two 1 star reviews is baffling, there should be a 0 rating option.

Not impressed with the quality, as you can't contact the company, there is no way of sending it back.
Will mark this up to experience.

I bought a reputable cookery magazine and saw an advertisement for Hector Knives with a knife on sale for £69. My son loves cookery and so I bought the knife from them. Despite ordering 2 weeks before it did not arrive on the 29th as indicated. I contacted them on the 30th and have contacted them on a daily basis by phone, by email and the online form. I have had absolutely no contact from them. They are absolutely shocking. I have decided to take them to court and will report them to trading standards. Absolutely disgraceful company. Avoid at all costs.
