Exactly what i needed for my rc heli, and it beats all others fr
To be real, I've got quite a few helicopters, rc cars, trains and stuff. So for a while. managing them had been a huge hassle.
And most logging software available were too old school or didn't work cross platform like this did.
Like, with this, I can carry over. What i mean is that, suppose you've flown a heli for months, but you wanna log your details from now on. Helilog pro has a carry over system where past cost, flight time and crashes can be logged. So now you can truely see where your heli stands.
I actually bought lifetime, at around v1.2.0 and currently its v2.0.16 and MAN! the changes and updates are amazing. They even added cost intelligence, and all types of learning systems. Like, there are ai reports too that help you. You can also see battery health, and everything. And the best part is, the developers actually look at your reviews, and implement them. That just feels gratifying, idk
Anyways, the best thing would be that you can track exact cost, and which shop or place you bought spare parts from, which model you added to which helicopter, which checklists you completed etc and when thye maintenance was done, its cost. Like, the cost and analytics are a huge thing. I'm saying this because the app used to be just a logger in v1 but now in v2 it's really a full inteligence PLUS logging system.
One thing that did put me down tho is the telemetry import. They are only working on rotorflight for now. I know they'll add more later. But my goosky s2 max doesnt use rotorflight. So i'm gonna have to wait till v2.5.1 or higher for that. This sucks.
But i was lucky to get accepted for rotorflight closed beta where I could try licve telemetry imports (my friend tried it), AND MAN, he could see the temperatures, flying patterns, which altitude resulted in most crashes and shi like, bro, why not just put thisin v2.1 rather than delaying this. People are gonna flock over with this typa thing!
So overall, very friendly staff too, I tried their support email too, they were very friendly and responded within minutes. Their discord is a bit empty but its nice anyways.
Now the BAD stuff:
They dont have google sign in/sign ups. Only email. And no 2fa either. It's cross platform so always a chance of gettng hacked imo. To this they said all safety checks are in place to prevent this but idk.
I wish they would add google signups and signins. It just makes it so much easier to login. maybe even fingerprint login or passkeys. Like windows hello for example. I really want that. For now they said they will implement it in a near update, and since they've kept all their promises so far, i'm hopeful.
