Easy to deal with, reliability and efficiency.

Using Helping UK through their website is very easy and the communications is great. Both the people I have used have been efficient reliable and hardworking. The costs are reasonable and there are no hidden extras. So far, I can’t fault the experience is using Helping UK or the cleaners they have sent me. Certainly, much better than our last company who were very disorganised, you never knew who was coming and the quality of work was questionable. I’m very pleased I changed to Helping UK

Complete ease of use and excellent cleaning service!

The booking process was very easy, communication was clear, and the app was easy to navigate. Our cleaning was done brilliantly, and we would definitely recommend this service to others.

Great experience

I came across Helpling when looking for a cleaner, and compared to other providers, it was very easy for me to take the next step in finding an offer of cleaners that fit my needs. I have had great experiences with it.

Not Great When You Have a Problem

My partner and I have been using this service for a few months now, and up until Friday it has been good.
Friday the cleaner we had booked for missed her recurring appointment, without giving any justification or notice. I immediately contacted Helpling half an hour into the appointment, explaining the situation and asking if it was possible not to charge for the booking since it didn't take place.
I tried contact them via WhatsApp, no reply. Calling? Lines are closed? Email? I am now on my third and I still didn't get a reply, not even an automated one.
Meanwhile, the money was taken from my account, and I'm out of pocket for a 3h booking that didn't take place.
While I'm sure that Customer Service is busy, I would appreciate AT LEAST a message acknowledging the query and when I can expect a reply. And given that they've taken my money for a service that was not provided, I'm expecting not only a swifter way of dealing with complaints but also a full refund.
Summing up: great company and service if you have everything running smoothly, not so great when you have a problem and need to contact customer service.

the customer care team told us that you are already in contact and that they answered to your first email on Monday but you didn't receive it (and none of the following).
Our phone line is no longer in service since 3 years and whatsapp & emails are monitored from Mon to Fri when the office is open.
We also wanna highlight that is the provider who activates the customer charge: it's not an automatic thing or something that we do, so it has probably been an error of your cleaner but we will fix it.
We hope this could change your opinion on Helpling and bring it back to the previous one you had of the service.

Terrible Clean and Service

I booked a cleaner for Thursday 2pm, a week before actual date. I advised agency that if this date is not possible to let me know by Monday 1pm so I can arrange elsewhere ( tenants due to move in so critical clean/date). A cleaner was confirmed the same day. The day before clean I was advised the cleaner could not attend as going job centre. I was then assigned another cleaner who messages on the morning of clean to advise she cannot make the time or date either. The cleaner then asked for more money and advised can attend following day. The office were no help so I just had to go ahead and hope for best.
The cleaner arrived 9am Friday and had to use a phone translator to understand what needs to be done ( which is not alot as brand new house, all new items, that was professionally cleaned a few weeks back but we wanted another clean for new tenants due to dust ect)
I returned after 3 hours, paid her the additional money she requested and one I had viewed the work she done was uttered disappointed. I am not sure what was done in the 3 hours as their was still dust were previously, windows not cleaned, stairs not hoovered, surfaces not wiped. My partner and i ended up cleaning ourselves Friday night.
Overall i paid £67 for 3 hours and complete waste of time.
As someone whos worked at a cleaning agency i under how this works but i gave ample opportunity to let me know if that date wasn’t possible and there was just no update from the office and then when the clean was done, just shocked at how under whelmed we were and the office dont seem to care just took the money with no response.
Overall very unsatisfactory and disappointing experience from start to end.

We would like to use this occasion also to remind you that Helpling is a platform for freelancer cleaners and not an agency, that's why we do our best to support our users through their journey but sometimes - having to meet the expectations and needs of people on both sides - problems can arise.
Since we're an intermediary platform, we can't mandate someone to take and attend a job: if a cleaner decides to cancel, all we can do is supporting the customer in finding a replacement, as we did via the platform itself and via the customer support team.

We also always advise to pay the provider only through the platform so that all transfer can be tracked, especially in the rare cases when we have to deal with quality issues.

In any case, we suggest again to write directly to us to follow up with your specific request.

The company is great but the fee they take from the costumer is too high, the costumer pays very expensive and we get very low

Unprofessional Customer Service

Writing this review as reminder that a great company does not only consist on providing a good support for their customers but also for their cleaner partners!
I asked for help with the team as I a plan on moving town and needed to check if Helpling had many customers active in the area.
Riccardo seemed unprofessional, was extremely unhelpful and had a far from empathetic customer service leaving me a quite passive aggressive email asking something I already had replied to him.
After I forwarded the email showing I had answered his question already,
I was never replied again.
It’s been 1 month and a half and I still have no news about something that would be very important for me to know before moving to a new town. And I am sure it’s something he could have easily checked for me.

Riccardo answered to you 12 hours after your first request with this email:
"Dear Maycon,
Unfortunately, it is not possible to see offers from a city in which you are not registered.
Why don't you tell us where you are moving to so we can tell you if there are any active customers?"
After this, we never received any answer from you until you requested an update 2 weeks later.
At that point we asked again for the city you were planning to move to and got zero answer again.
It seems definitely just a technical issue. We are more than happy to help you! Please, write a new email from scratch (don't reply to previous ones) and directly state the city there: we will get back to you asap!

Seems great!

This is just a review of starting up with them and using their booking procedure as I haven't been given a cleaner yet, but it's a really easy to use system, people can set their own price and there is just a small fee for using their services, and you chose how often, and when you want to use their services for. Very happy so far!!

Very easy to book and the cleaner was very professional, the site waited to do payment until after the cleaning. I’ve used many agencies and services, this was the best because of the quality of the work, professionalism of the cleaner and the ease and safety of the online process.

Great and helpful team

Since I started living alone, I haven't made a big mess, but it's been missing a bit of freshness. I found these people on the Internet by accident, and they made my life easier. Whenever I contact them, they very easily find an appointment that suits me, and they do everything perfectly. Once there was a small mistake, and they came as soon as possible to correct it. Great team, very skilled, and responsible.
