Amazing company

Amazing company. Such a great choice of product. They even stock a favourite brand of mine. Hazard 4. But what makes them elite is the customer service. I think Marie went above and beyond for me to get a product direct from a supplier. And this is hands down perfect serive.

Hennie, great. DPD terrible.

Always had good service from hennie, the issue now though is photo ID on delivery. I don't have a driving licence or passport but was told as long as I look older than 18y they wouldn't ask. Well after DPD saying next day delivery what they meant was 2 days. As soon as the delivery guy come he asked for photo ID I'm 45y, so after an abrupt debate he just left the parcel. I placed a suprise order for my friend (similar knife) he is 23y. DPD arrived next day and asked for nothing, he just handed it over and walked off. So if DPD are just going to randomly ask for photo ID it would seem, it definitely puts me off ordering anything else. Simply because of DPD. Hennie already verify your age when placing an order but that just isn't good enough anymore. But you can get opioids from Europe delivered with nothing, just a one page questionnaire? So although I like hennie and there stock I don't think I'll be ordering again as it's just not worth the trouble, which is a shame.

First class company and great after…

First class company and great after sales
The initial purchase was first class from the stock to the fast delivery
the item I purchased off them had an issue and they sorted the problem with no effort at all
will have no hesitation in dealing with this company again as you only really find out how good a company is if you get an issue and they passed with flying colours with there coms and general helpfulness

Utterly Disappointing customer service

I like many went to Hennie Haynes based on their competitive price and supposed reputation. I can honestly say rarely have I been so disappointed with an online shopping experience.

My order was stopped pending proof of age, of course fair enough we must all comply to the letter of the Law, which I sent. Even though I sent proof immediately I still got a second email asking again for proof of age. At this point I had lost patience.

I emailed again this time asking simple for the order to be canceled there is only some much incompetent I can tolerate and I felt I had tolerated enough.

However I then received a further message first non automated one saying the package had been sent!?

The next day the Item arrived and I thought about just swallowing it and keeping it. But fortunately I found a similar product online at KNIFEBARGAINS.CO.UK for a better price!!!!!!! Their service was excellent as was their personal non automated communication +++++++

I then tried to return the item to Hennie. More stress and failures. Rather than sending me a return label they the arranged a label to be sent to me in person via UPS who would also collect!?

However this had been arranged to go to my works address of little use to me on my wk off. I called Hennie and rather than apologize or own the issues that had taken place I got a defensive attitude and the blame passed to UPS.

At the end of my tether I suggested I posted the item myself at my own cost recorded delivery to which the sales assistant seemed very pleased with.

Dejected and disappointed I posted the item myself at my own cost I only hope I actually get my money back I wont be holding my breath.

At any point a personal email message or a simple apology would have at least left a less bitter taste in my mouth but I didn't even get that.
