First day surprise!
This is my first day of activating it. It said (and the promotion stickers say everywhere) it’s 7€ a month. Now I get a recap email saying it’s 9€. 2eur isn’t making me any poor or rich but that breaks the credibility already. I hope no more disappointments occur.
Très mauvais contact center
I couldn't get the esim connected
I couldn't get the esim connected, and my SIM card stopped working. I contacted your operator, but they couldn't help me, so today I'm stuck at home with no service at all.
scammers just stay away their site…
scammers just stay away their site never works keep sending bills even after you quit their horrible services go with any other provider
You ask for my feedback
You ask for my feedback - you got it. The experience so far couldn’t have been any worse. Poor communication, non existing customer service… If nothing happens on Monday, I will cancel before I even activated my SIM card. Worst welcoming and onboarding I can remember in many years.
Just signed up a few days ago
Just signed up a few days ago, but looks like I will directly cancel. Disastrous experience so far. The confirmation and welcome mails all show less GB and a higher price than what was shown when I signed up. Nobody cares to response by email or their Whatsapp account.
Reasonable price and services
They offer internet and mobile subscriptions at a reasonable price for Belgium.
It still is 5 times more expensive and half the speed in countries with more advanced infrastructure (RO), but it is less ridiculous than the competitors.
Terrible experience with Hey!/Orange Belgium - never again!
I placed an order for a phone plan advertised under the "Hey! Telecom" brand. I was supposed to receive an eSIM shortly after to activate the line, but days later it still hadn't arrived.
I contacted customer service to find out what was going on. Getting through to an actual human being took a day and a half. Once I finally did get someone on the line, I was told it was a "technical issue", with no indication of when the eSIM would actually be sent.
To make things worse, I had already set up a direct debit mandate for this order, which means the amount could have been charged at any time even though the service I paid for was never delivered.
After several days with no eSIM and no clear timeline from customer service, I decided to cancel the order altogether. For context, the website advertises delivery of a physical SIM card within two business days — the fact that an eSIM, which should if anything be faster to provision since it requires no physical shipping, took over several days with no resolution in sight is simply not in line with standard industry practice, and is inconsistent with the delivery commitments advertised on the website itself.
While trying to sort this out, I also discovered that "Hey! Telecom" is not actually an independent operator. According to my own order confirmation email, the contract is with Orange Belgium SA. This is worth flagging clearly for anyone else considering this offer, since the brand name gives no indication of who you're actually contracting with, and it made resolving the issue and finding the right contact details considerably more difficult than it should have been.
I have requested a full refund and cancellation, and I am now considering filing a complaint with the Belgian economic inspection authority (SPF Economie / FOD Economie) over what I consider an unfair commercial practice (given that they promise to deliver the eSIM shortly after the order and the physical SIM in two business days, but do not do that). I'd recommend anyone considering to sign up for Hey!/Orange Belgium to think twice.
