I am using most of their products and will continue to do so. Completely satisfied with how easily mold, limescale, stubborn dirt trapped in tiles can be removed (i am using all of these products). Fu... See more

Refund guarantee
Although the product did not work, customer service was excellent, and refunded me the value of the product as per their guarantee. So, I can't, but recommend them as they are professional.
Great HG products for shower and stove glass.
I used the HG mould spray in my shower on advice from my local DIY shop a few years back. Wonderful. Could hardly believe how clean and white everything became. Now use it every 6 months or so. Bought a spray for my adult daughter and she was equally impressed. Move on to 2024 and my local pub had a blazing log fire and I noticed how clear the stove glass was. Publican produced another HG product for stove glass. I tried it and am now a convert to this product too. HG is making life easier for me in bathroom and lounge. Thank you.
Bad products bad costumer service
Bad products. Indeed they say they return the money but when contacting them is not simple as that - finding the worst way to do it so you give up on the process or you are spending more money.
HG Mould Remover, the shock and awe of bathroom cleaners.
I have just used the HG Mould Remover on my shower as it says it's for use in bathrooms and on grout, sealant etc. However, it would probably have been safer to just napalm my shower. My white tiles, are somehow now even whiter in random places, and the product itself is so strong I think the first spray took a year off my life and reduced my lungs to jelly. Unless you are the kind of person who enjoys living on the edge, or are trained in chemical warfare, then give this a miss.
Drain Unblocker doesn't
I bought an HG Duo Unblocker product (not cheap at over £15) as my kitchen drain was blocked and as there was a "money back" guarantee on the box.
This guarantee is worthless unless you have firstly called in a plumber to give a written statement saying why the drain is blocked in the first place to send to HG (the whole point of buying an item such as this is to do it yourself and avoid a plumber's fees).
Having followed the instructions completely it did not work for me and I would not recommend it to unblock a drain blocked by fat and oil.
RVS snel reiniger keuken
I have a new kitchen with a RVS extractor (afzuigkap). to clean it I have bought HG RVS snel reiniger keuken, which promises that the cleaning will be fast and "streeploos". The place which I have treated has become darker and looks dirty if compared to the upper untreated part of the extractor. I have written to the customer service but they told it is not possible that their product caused it.
The fact it I have an ugly spot caused by the cleaner, which is supposed to do the opposite, and my extractor is ruined.
Be warned!!! I wouldn't advise buying this product.
It's rare these day for me to actually…
It's rare these day for me to actually want to write a review on a product, particularly as in most cases I'm being asked to review it before I've had a chance to unwrap the whatever it was I bought. However, in this case I'm thrilled to be able to write a glowing review.
We have what used to be a granny annex attached to our house, this used to be home to my Mum until she died a few years ago. Since then we've rented it out to various people, not as an Airbnb but on longer terms. The other day I had occasion to pop in there to check on something the guy renting wanted me to see. Whilst in there I noticed some black mould around the edges of the shower unit and was frankly horrified that somewhere in our home could have mould of any kind growing there. So, I called through to my wife to add Cillit Bang black mould remover right away, do it on Amazon I called we need to get it sorted. Before I left the I checked and found that the extractor fan had been turned off, I turned it back on and made a mental note to use the bang product as soon as it arrived.
The following day my wife called me and said the mould stuff had just been delivered and that she’d left it on the kitchen worktop. When I got to it I have to confess I was a little miffed, as per usual my wife didn't seem able to follow what I thought was a reasonably straight forward request. I thought I'd asked for Cillit Bang black mould remover just like the stuff I'd seen advertised on the TV. I'm not going to bang on about this (excuse the pun) but I think you know what I mean... I can't wait until my ruby wedding anniversary next year right now I can't think what substitute I'll get her, but I've got a whole year to think about it... anyway I digress. So, I take this brightly colour bottle and spray to the offending area. I didn't think much about it, it sprayed well, didn't smell particularly pungent or unpleasant so much so that I thought ah my beloved has bought a cheap version of what I'd asked for and I'm probably spraying water sent to me by some multi-millionaire who's having trouble getting his millions out of Nigeria.
Being the busy retired person I am, I sprayed the (possibly water) onto the affected area and got on with my day. Later I popped in to see if I needed to go and buy the Cillit bang myself but was shocked, nay taken aback, there wasn't a hint of mould, in fact the grouting around the affected area was gleaming back at me. Oh heck I thought, or words similar to that, the dam ruby's back on the list.
Where I had sprayed was gleaming white and perfect so much to that I got it back out from way under the sink to be to be thrown away next time I was looking for the blunger and couldn't find it because someone, who shall remain nameless keeps putting stuff in there that should be thrown away... anyway I dug it out and sprayed everywhere in there, it's a wet room so there was a lot of everywhere to spray. Once I'd finished spraying that room I went upstairs to our bathroom which had just been remodelled the year before last so it was pretty perfect anyway and sprayed all around there too.
Well it's amazing stuff. Everywhere looks as good a new, even the guy renting the annex said wow that's clean, so I told him off for turning the extractor fan off and suggested that he wiped around the edges of the shower every now then otherwise a triffid will grow and grab him by the leg on day and drag him down the plughole.
So, cutting what could be a long story short I think you should buy this product, it's brilliant. Oh, and you shouldn't read reviews this long, they're clear written by retired people that haven't got anything better to do with their lives... anyway I've got to go, got to find this blinking plunger...
