A customer of HGreg stole my identity…

A customer of HGreg stole my identity and took out a fraudulent car loan under my name. This company didn’t do their due diligence to check sources.
Now that the identity theft has happened, I’m not able to get a manager to return my calls.
I have had to file a police report and take legal action. If you want to protect your identity, DO NOT TRUST this crooked, deceitful company.
I'd go without a car before buying from this place.

Drove 1 hour each way after making…

Drove 1 hour each way after making appointment and filling out paperwork. I did not meet with person I scheduled with. They did not have 1 car available on my list from their website of 6-8 cars. In fact had no cars in my price range and down payment. Could not quote trade-in price over the website or in person because my car was a 2009. This would have all not been so bad if I had not cleared it beforehand over multiple texts and phone calls. I made this trip for nothing and it seemed their only objective was to sell me a more expensive car after a larger then I wanted to pay down payment. It seemed like they were extremely crowded and could care less about their service to help. Absolutely the worst car dealer I have ever been in

Had to give them one star but they…

Had to give them one star but they don’t deserve that. Drove from an hour away after being told tons of cars in price range (site listed several but only had 1) none of the 8 cars we wanted to see were available. Also would not give us anything for trade after phone guy told us oh yes, all credit and all cars accepted as trade. Who we thought we were meeting for salesman was not a fact. It’s a phone bank that lies to you to get you there. I was so upset I want my gas $$ back. This place is a joke, they have no decent deals as advertised. Do not waste your time! I’m sure they offer $$ for good reviews. That was for my mom getting a vehicle. I was sitting there looking at their range rovers and decided quickly not to even entertain it.

Horrible experience

We bought our son an 2018 Infiniti Q50 from HGREG Brandon Fl, we also purchased the highest extended warranty to make sure our investment was covered. In under 6 months, the motor failed and the warranty that we purchased and were told would cover this, declined the repair. Now we are stuck with the debt of $23,000 for the car and another almost $20,000 to repair this problem out of pocket. The dealership knew of this problem and sold the vehicle to us anyway. When we went to cancel the warranty that obviously was worthless, the sales man, manager and finance person didn’t say one word to us. This is a disgrace, all they want to do is take your money.
Do not buy from this dealership, go to a more reputable place or buy new!!!!

unsafe and dangerous Ford Edge

I purchased a 2022 Ford Edge from HGreg in Houston. They told me they had fixed the damage from a "minor" rear accident. Come to find out, the car has major FRONT END damage that makes the car unsafe to drive. I found this out after taking the car to a Ford dealership for repair because we just couldn't get the lights to work & my airbag light kept coming on intermittently. When I called them, the 'sales manager' made the comment that he was "looking through my purchase" & did not see where I had purchased "after sale repair service." I am furious. I specifically asked them certain things while I was there & was lied to about just about everything. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

Hgreg Sold me a Canadian car without…

Hgreg Sold me a Canadian car without proper disclosure. Trying to trade it is a nightmare as Dealers don't wants to take the car in. Additionally, the negative is 5 to 7 K more above the average loss on the same because there are many concerns with conversion of Miles to KM. This crap dealer makes money by importing cheap cars that they buy and trying to sell them at US base price without letting you know their practices you try to trade or sell your car and realize this issue. They should be sued and put out a business for unethical practice, the proper thing to inform the consumer so that they are aware of the risk and our purchase decision. I now have a Porsche that is worth less than a Honda. They should be penalized.

I bought a car from HGreg in 2021

I bought a car from HGreg in 2021. A 2017 Audi Q3. I was out of state at the time and they sent over all the paperwork to me in the mail. Unfortunately for me I never scanned or kept anything because Franco the salesman told me not to and send everything back. Fortunately for me though I also kept the text messages from him. They knew i was out of state and would need car transport so not only did they have someone come over to “inspect” the vehicle, they had a transport person lined up for me. It took 5+ days to get the vehicle to me and by that time the clause to return had “ran out” even though the vehicle was never in my possession. When i got the vehicle the transporter hopped out and told my husband “hey your car smells like mildew when i run the vents to see if it’s operational”, what? There was a crack in the tail light with clear like and water damage to it and the trunk had molded carpet fibers. The left rear window stopped working months after ( it was cold by this time so it never needed to go down). The Bluetooth came with a faulty pairing and crackling sounds as I was told that was also submerged in water. Oh and my air conditioner never worked! I tried returning the vehicle that summer but my loan was funded and they told me again that I was pass the return date which was 3 days after signing. Again, keep in mind my vehicle sat on their lot until 5 days after signing because their transporter couldn't get it! I reached out to my lender who insisted there was nothing to be done because they only fund the loan on their end. So i got my paperwork from the lender because this same phone call i noticed I was paying more that we originally spoke about. After getting the paperwork, not only did i notice false signatures on it, the interest rate was incorrect. It jumped from 6% at original signing to 13% on the contract my lender had. I made a complaint with the Florida attorney General’s office on the dealership and receive original carfax documents i paid for myself only to find out the car had not just one accident like they told me but THREE! Meaning that the car value was already shot before purchasing and it had a salvage title prior instead of a clean on like I was told but I was able to register it because I’m in a different state with no flood laws. I’ve been stuck paying for a car that has no value and is overpriced so my credit doesnt run to the ground BUT the even crappier part is constantly driving my kids in this car has given me headaches and my children breathing issues. We went to the doctor and it was the first question “do you live in a home with black mold potentially?” Nope! Our house is brand new! But our car isn't is what I mentioned. He was appalled that they would sell something so detrimental to anybody! Now since I have been fighting no only the warranties I never asked for on the vehicle, but false signatures that were forged by their staff on papers I NEVER saw, I will also take this further and make them pay for what they so willing did to our health. I don't care how many years this takes. Franco and Albert Jaray will be held accountable for their scheming ways!!!

NEVER BUY A CAR FROM HGREG!!!

Surprise! They lie to get you in the dealership

Review after review warned me thousands of dollars of dealer 'add-ons' will be tacked on to any sale, but the color of a 2022 Maserati Ghibli caused my pulse to race and my guard to drop, and so I made an appointment with salesman Kevin. But I then had 'reader's remorse' and cancelled, telling him I didn't want to drive the 68-miles, going thru the anxiety of what was likely to happen at the negotiating table. Kevin offered nothing to say I was wrong. Days later, another salesperson emailed asking if I was still interested in the Maserati, and I replied, "Yes, but not if I have to pay the dealer add-ons. She replied back, "We can discuss it", without finishing the sentence with, "But it will do no good". Weeks later, I noticed a $3000 price reduction, so I made another appointment, but texted Kevin, "I'm not coming up from San Diego unless the advertised price will be honored". Kevin texted back, "We go based on the website price", and so I took a screenshot of the website price. After a brief test drive, and a bit of haggling, I told Kevin, "Let's do the deal at the website price, but I will not pay for any GPS tracker, or paint and door protection". Instead of honoring his written word, Kevin came back to the table wanting $3085 for those very items, saying they will NOT sell the car without the "accessories". I said, "Fine, we had a deal, so tell your manager he just bought the car back for $3085. I actually felt bad for the young salesman, as I'm sure he was just doing what he is told to do. On the other hand, what's it like for Kevin to do business like that, preying on the excitement of potential buyers, knowing you were going to throw a 'grenade' on the bargaining table in the form of the required extra dealer profit. They are obviously hoping you'll want the car badly enough to cave in. Some may be unsuspecting. I wasn't, and was among those who walked away. I have a question for Kevin, and the other salespeople at HGreg Nissan. Would YOU like to be treated as you are doing to others?

Never Buy From Here!!!

Recently I was verbally attacked, severely accosted and then denied service that were promised to me by Karlos the GM at your Brandon store. His entire team was not only rude, but had no problem telling a costumer bold face lies, and being downright cruel.

It took me almost 30 days of calling and trying to get the company to honor their promise, "we stand behind the quality of our vehicles and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase." I purchased a vehicle from them on 1/11/24 and 3 hours later the problems began and continued to get more severe. I called and left messages for the service department. But, the Orlando service department never returned one call. This continued until the vehicle was leaving me and my small children stranded in the middle of the night begging strangers for a jump.

Finally, after almost a month I was put in contact with Nick and Karlos at the Brandon store and they told me I could truth them and that my car would be serviced properly. Instead, I was lied to and the I was thrown out the door and the manager called the cops.

This awful and unnecessarily aggression comes after a month of constant issues. I followed their company protocols every step of the way, no matter how frustrating and depressing. And then, when my car was finally serviced. They sent me away promising it was all fixed and 100% working. 2 miles down the road I realize they disabled my radio. So I had to return to have them fix what they broke. And I begged them, as I had the day before when I picked it up, to run a simple test to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. This was too much to ask and Karlos called the cops then severely accosted me. He screamed very aggressively in my face and put his hands in my face. It was truly terrifying.

On top of all this, and a non-working vehicle, the company also lied to me and told me my insurance had been cancelled and sold me an auto insurance policy. I then found out a month later I was paying for 2 policies. The one with my usual insurer, which I have had for over 15 years, and the new policy they false sold me. And now no one from their insurance department will return my call. It’s maddening. And downright fraudulent and cruel.

Someone at Hgreg needs to make this right. NO ONE deserves to be treated this way. Especially not a single mom who just got out an abusive marriage and just wanted a working vehicle. Your company promised complete satisfaction and a car that had been fully inspected and in working condition. And I don’t deserve to be demonized and accosted for kindly asking for that promise to be upheld.

Of course we know lots of lies comes…

Of course we know lots of lies comes out during finance time! However when Jerome @ HGreg in Houston Texas began to explain that I wouldn't have got finance without accepting the warranty plan that's when I was extremely pissed off because I was watching my bottom line which was my car note! Even when I exposed him he stuck to his guns and kept the lie going! Bottom line when the finance company called they specifically asked the question "do you agree that yo u did not have to take the extended warranty that was offered to you in ordered to get financed"? I asked her to repeat that three times because I was told the opposite, I asked them to put the finance application on hold and called HGreg back and gave them hell, after being on the phone for over an hour then I included Global Finance on the and they heard them say I DID NOT have to accept the extended warranty in order to get financed, after HGreg heard that.... that's when and only when they offered to redo the contract. I DECLINED because at this time I didn't trust them and I already know they were going to re due the contract on some more bull crap! so thanks but no thanks

Watch out for hidden fees

Watch out for their hidden fees. They lure you in with what seems to be an attractive price and when you are about to buy it they present you with a $1,300 "pre-delivery fee " for a car which is at their location already, plus a non-optional protection plan for $1,500. Both bogus hidden fees which you even with a magnifying glass wouldn't be able to read in their fine print !

6 phone calls made and every single…

6 phone calls made and every single time told they could not transfer me to Tampa location. I was calling about a vehicle online shown in Miami area. Told vehicle could be brought to Tampa location for $149, but I have to go to store and complete paperwork. I explained its an hour and a half from me and I would like to discuss the buying process before the long drive. Told only fee is $1299 dealer fee. LIE. They force some in house $1499 warranty plus $699 service fee. Almost $3500 added. Also while trying to appraise my vehicle was told they "system is down"... Why build an entire so called appraisal section to the building just to use a computer? Absolutely NO TRANSPARENCY. The WORST car buying experience ever received. I stick with new or Carmax. I hope this company falls on its face. Almost four hours of driving and a day off work. To top all of this the vehicle I wanted to purchase was in the shop for airbag warning light along with a faulty shock. You'd think within the 3 weeks of calls someone would of cleared that up front.

LOOK AT THE CARFAX

LOOK AT THE CARFAX. They purchase these cars from other dealers and auctions. They DO NOT do any type of vehicle inspection when they get it. They just purchase and sell. The majority of their cars have all had some kind of fender binder or major accident which they try their best to hide or convince you it was minor. I asked about the reason as to why they did not inspect the vehicle and was told it was previously inspected. BACK IN JULY of 2023 and here it is MARCH of 2024. While in person it felt weird as to how they had it set up. The best thing I got out of there was a free cup of cappuccino. Otherwise, It was a HELL NO for me. Wont trick me into getting a car I cant get out of. Its not worth it. SCAMMERS

i purchased a santa fe 2 years ago

i purchased a santa fe 2 years ago, approx 34000 miles, test drove it, a/c worked well, tires almost bald but they gave me 120.00 to replace myself because they only put junk tires on vehicle, after the 30 days a/c went out, started leaking oil, and out side door trim fell off. mechanic told me someone had put a charge in a/c to get it running found a leak in system that had been leaking for a while. the clips that hold on the tr5im were all broken because the piece had been taken off or broken and made to stay in place with a wire that had come loose. Don't let them tell you about all the inspections they do on their vehicles. It is a plain lie and they don't care if they rip you off.

Warning! Don't buy worst dealer in Florida

On 12/12/23 I bought a 2022 Toyota Highlander with 13,000 miles on it. I had a contract I agreed on and signed. The business manager took my original contract changed the numbers on it and had me sign it again. I was charged for 2 warranties that I had absolutely no idea about plus an additional $1,000 on who knows what. The business manager took my original contract plus he took everything else I signed.
Shortly after I noticed I was overcharged we started realizing things were wrong with the vehicle. First of all everything in the hood was loose, missing caps, clamps broken, bolts missing. The engine was missing 10 bolts. It didn't matter what you touched in the hood everything was loose. The battery could have fallen out at any time, wires were just hanging loose, the electrical box cap was just hanging. It has frame damage and structure damage and has an airbag malfunction. I was completely unaware of this.
I went to sell my car and was told I cannot because Hgreg never sent in the correct paperwork to the DMV for the title. Hgreg has voided my registration completely while they were "trying to get my title." So legally I cannot drive my vehicle that I paid 41k. Hgreg never turned the title over to the dmv because they said they lost it. I don't think Hgreg ever had the title before they sold the vehicle to me. So now I am stuck paying on a loan for a vehicle that has no title.
