Hidden Cultures 

We had a wonderful week with Hidden Cultures, helped by warm sunny weather and excellent organisation. The tourist places were all fascinating with interesting guides but for me the highlights were the places the tourists didn’t go - namely cooking lunch with a lovely Spanish family in their home and touring an olive oil farm with tasting too. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a holiday with a difference in this stunning area of Spain.

Very interesting tour with excellent mix of walks, culture that wasn't too heavy but illuminating, and fascinating insight into Spanish cooking and ingredients. Plenty of varied countryside to view from comfortable coach rides, all so very different from the overdone and tatty tourist beaches. A week of worthwhile entertainment.

I have just returned from a tour of Andalusia organised by Hidden Cultures. The tour was well organised and everything ran according to plan. We not only toured the well known sites, but also a few things that were off the beaten track, which made the trip so much more interesting and enjoyable. We enjoyed a cookery day with a Spanish family which was great fun, and toured an olive oil mill which included tastings. The various guides were extremely knowledgeable and there was also free time to explore independently. I would wholeheartedly recommend this tour.

I recently visited Andulucia on a Hidden Cultures tour with my wife. We enjoyed the visits to the Alhambra Palace and gardens in Granada, Seville's historic centre and the views and history in Ronda and Cordoba. What differentiated this tour from others we have been on were the insights into this area and its people. The group cookery lesson in a 18th century home was amazing fun, the Olive oil tour and tasting was educational and interesting and the evening in a cave with a group of local gypsy flamenco performers was unique and special. The arrangements all went to plan and the guides were all knowledgeable, communicated clearly and made the visits a pleasure. We would recommend these tours.

We went on a trip to Andalucia. It was extremely well organised by Hidden Cultures; the guides were extremely knowledgeable and the travel arrangements between the sights was seamless. We had plenty of time at each venue and also time to enjoy the cities on our own. We were with a very nice group of people (which helps the enjoyment).

I was expecting to impressed by the Alhambra in Granada, the Mesquita in Córdoba and the cathedral and Alcazar in Seville, but they exceeded my expectations, mainly because of the guides (and the beautiful weather we had). However, other highlights were the cooking class and the tour of an olive mill.

We knew the region quite well from holidays there in the past, but this trip added a new dimension, and I'd highly recommend it.

Excellent hotel in Bath. Had a truly great weekend and will be sure to go back soon. Thanks Hidden Cultures for suggesting this great cultural city to explore and arranging the accommodation for me. The Spa was great!
