Really happy with our garden room from Hideaway. The team were all very friendly, professional and very respectful of our home, even though they had to bring materials through the house as we don’t have side access. It was great being able to customise all aspects of the build, it means it exactly suits are needs. Overall a great experience and we’d definitely recommend them.

Steve and his team were a pleasure to work with from the start. Always keeping me updated and actually got to work on the project earlier than planned, which was great.
The finished space is amazing and has been done to a really high quality.

We chose Hideaway to build a “Willow Retreat” room to use as an office and gym space. Every interaction with Hideway, from the early conversations to completion, was friendly, highly professional and consistent. We found this continued with every member of the team not just the owners or salespeople. The builders were always friendly, made sure to speak to us for any decisions or issues and were very mindful to not disturb our neighbours. The build was not easy as the weather was below freezing, and a bad bout of flu went through their team. However, they worked incredibly hard to keep the build close to the schedule they had set out beforehand. We’re very happy with the outcome: the garden room looks great and is of high quality. A big thank you to Matt, Mark, Steve, and the whole team. Overall, a very refreshing experience to work with a building company that is very clear on what they will do and then follows through to deliver exactly what they say.

Hideaway designed and built our garden room in Autumn 2025, and I’m very happy to recommend them. They took great care in getting every detail right and worked closely with us to refine the design so it was exactly what we wanted. The build quality is outstanding, and the construction team were quick, tidy, and genuinely friendly.

The project was delivered on time and on budget and has been a fantastic upgrade to our home. More recently, we had a minor issue with one of the sliding doors, and the aftercare was excellent — the team responded immediately and resolved it without any issues. That level of service is what truly sets Hideaway apart.

I want to say a huge thank you to the whole team at Hideaway. From start to finish, the entire process was incredibly smooth - from the initial design stage right through to the final build.

I went for their maple lodge design and their team really did work tirelessly to allow flexibility to customise it exactly to my needs, including incorporating both an office and a shower room. They worked closely with my landscaping company, speaking directly to them so everything came together which made things much easier for me!

Having dealt with many building companies, communication was second to none and I was always kept informed. I’m absolutely delighted with the finished build and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hideaway to anyone considering a garden room.

Hideaway built my garden room in January and I was honestly amazed at how warm it stayed, especially compared to a friend’s room from another company! I didn’t expect to notice such a big difference but I’m guessing it’s down to the ‘premium insulation’ package they include as standard. We had a fantastic experience working with the team at Hideaway Garden Rooms from start to finish. Communication during the design stage was prompt, professional and solution-focused — every request we made, from upgrading to a wider set of sliding doors to adding LED lighting and air conditioning, was handled smoothly and at fair additional cost. Among all the companies we spoke to, their responsiveness and efficiency stood out.

The build itself was well managed with steady daily progress and regular updates. The on-site team were friendly, respectful and clearly took pride in their work. Aftercare has also been excellent — we’ve always felt they’re willing to go the extra mile to ensure the space remains safe and comfortable.

My new office is fantastic. Hideaway Garden Rooms were 100% focused on the job, they were onsite everyday from start to finish and clearly took pride in delivering a great product. I had only recently moved into my home and was concerned that the building work in the garden might disrupt my new neighbours...now that the build has finished ALL of my neighbours have gone out of their way to tell me what fantastic workmen were onsite, they were considerate and friendly and all my neighbours were impressed by their work ethic.
