Edit: They just removed one of the features that was listed in the subscription package i purchased and put it behind another paypal. My subscription is not over yet nor did i cancel it.
“Unlimited” apparently means unlimited until they decide you’ve used it enough. Then you just get locked out.
So far it’s only been temporary lockouts, maybe 10–20 minutes, but the time I can actually use the service between them feels like it’s getting shorter. The lockouts also seem to be getting longer.
The site itself loads fine when I’m not logged in, even in other tabs or browsers, so I don’t think it’s a connection problem.
The cancel button is all the way at the bottom of the account page. Not exactly hidden, but not grouped in the section i would expect it to be.
And when you try to cancel, you have to click through several popups with info, discounts, and other stuff trying to get you to stay before you can actually unsubscribe.
Apart from that, the model and feature selection is pretty good. I just really don’t like the monetization. The constant discounts being shoved in your face make the normal prices feel artificially inflated, just so the “discounts” look better.

Tried to take payment twice, didn’t provide the 7 day unlimited generations, finally agreed to give me a credit. Failed to follow through, no credit, no answers to mails, awful company to deal with, oversold the products, constant pressure to upgrade. Rubbish all round.

They say that the PLUS plan will give you a 7-day unlimited Nano Banana 2 and Kling 3.0 yet I wasn't able to take advantage of Kling 3.0 and the customer service agent was not able to give a solution, just a lot of back-and-forth. And then when I asked for a refund, suddenly there was no reply. Also beware of the slider always sliding to generate with credits instead of staying in Unlimited. Generation by nano banana 2 is slow and will come up with memes. Not good.

Read carefully, especially if you are thinking about taking out a one-year subscription.
BE VERY CAREFUL with this company.
I have maid this edit because in the response to my review they have just mentioned this... "We would like to clarify that in Cinema Studio, the final output aspect ratio can be influenced by the aspect ratio of the source material used in the project. If you believe the exported video did not behave as expected, we would appreciate the opportunity to review the specific generation and investigate further."
They know very well that wasn't the issue. They already reviewed the generations. Don't be fooled by this company. The worst I've come across.
I paid for Higgsfield because it looked like exactly the kind of AI video tool I needed, but a key feature simply did not work properly.
I was using Cinema Studio and selecting 9:16 video, but the downloaded files were exporting as 16:9 instead. This made the outputs unusable for the social media content I was creating.
The worst part is that this was not a one-off mistake. It happened repeatedly, wasted credits, and stopped me from being able to properly use the platform I was paying for. I reported the issue, provided screenshots, examples, browser details, and file dimensions showing that the export was actually 1920 × 1080. Their own support eventually acknowledged that this was a real Cinema Studio aspect ratio bug.
Support was also very poor. I kept getting repetitive automated-style replies asking for information I had already provided. I was sending screenshots, only to later find out that the AI-style support response could not properly see or use them. That made the whole process even more frustrating. Eventually, they offered credits as compensation, but even that became a drawn-out process involving expired codes, codes that did not work as expected, and more back-and-forth.
One support agent later acknowledged that the issue was real and offered 500 credits. I thought, okay, maybe they deserve a second chance. But this did not solve the problem. The credits were supposed to compensate me for credits wasted due to Higgsfield’s own platform bug, but in practice they were of very limited use because many of the useful models still required an active subscription. In other words, the compensation only really became useful if I paid them again, which completely missed the point. What kind of compensation is that?
My issues with Higgsfield actually started before the Cinema Studio bug. I signed up after seeing messaging about “1 WEEK ONLY” unlimited Minimax Hailuo 2.3 videos, but the way the offer was presented made it seem like this was included with the Basic plan. After subscribing, I realised Hailuo still consumed credits.
Then the messaging became even more confusing when the platform showed “Only on Pro and Ultimate,” even though support had previously said Hailuo was available on Basic. Support later admitted the promotional display issue had been fixed and offered a small credit code, but this just added to the feeling that the plan access, model availability, and credit system were unclear and poorly communicated.
The platform has potential - if it actually works, and if support actually had a clue what they were doing. But based on my experience, Higgsfield is not reliable enough if you need consistent, usable outputs. I would be very cautious before paying for a subscription, especially a longer-term one.

I purchased an expensive annual subscription to Higgsfield based on their primary marketing of "Unlimited" Nano Banana Pro generations. After committing to the annual cost, I discovered that the CLI—a critical component for my workflow—is excluded from these "unlimited" benefits. This crucial limitation was buried in their documentation and was not disclosed in their upfront marketing materials.
Intentionally hiding service limitations to induce high-value annual purchases is a bait-and-switch. I have contacted their support team to request they honor the terms as marketed and enable unlimited generation via the CLI, but I am still waiting for a meaningful resolution that isn't a canned response.
I am currently preparing to escalate this with consumer protection agencies. If you rely on the CLI for your projects, be aware that their "unlimited" claims do NOT apply to you.

Higgsfield AI always have the latest models that's available. The credit system is very fair, love the continuous updates, new features and unlimited option.
I subscribed to the Ultra plan specifically because it includes unlimited access to several models like Nano Banana, FLUX.2 Pro, GPT Image, Seedream 4.5, Kling O1 Image, and Seedream V5 Lite. This unlimited access works perfectly on the Higgsfield website — no credits deducted.
However, when using the official Higgsfield MCP integration (mcp.higgsfield.ai) with Claude or other AI agents, credits are charged for EVERY generation — even for models that are supposed to be unlimited. This is not disclosed anywhere in the MCP documentation or on the pricing page.
I only discovered this after running a test generation and checking my credit balance. The official MCP simply does not pass the required "use_unlim" flag to the API, meaning your unlimited subscription is completely ignored when using MCP.
This is misleading. If a feature of your subscription plan doesn't work through an officially supported integration, that needs to be clearly communicated — not discovered by accident. Higgsfield actively promotes MCP integration as a key feature, yet it silently bypasses the unlimited access users have paid for.

A stop-shop, portal for all of your creative needs. Whether you are a creative nerd or someone who is looking for a right place to start. This is the “place to be”. Thank you Higgsfield for being generous while offering both credits and unlimited tokens for your members to explore photo, video, audio, everything.
Scammy behaviour all round. When using unlimited models, the toggle for unlimited often switches to use credits without warning - why would I want to pay credits when it's literally free? Furthermore, there's a constant hounding to upgrade your plan. Before you buy they offer huge deals on plans and you have to click through "Miss out on amazing deal" or something multiple times to buy the tier you actually want.

They have the 7-day Unlimited deals highlighted clearly. I purchased the plan without knowing some deals had expired. The service team says it is not misleading because it includes small icons showing the expiry dates when you hover over them. I think they should not show these deals they are no longer going to provide them. It is clearly misleading. These expired deals are still showing up on the plan. Check every detail before you purchase.

Impressive model selection, terrible pricing transparency. You pick a model, configure your prompt, hit Generate - and only then find out it needs a premium plan. No labels, no credit costs shown, nothing. The “unlimited” plans are mostly image models. The one unlimited video model is their worst one. Good tech, deliberately confusing UX.

Not impressed with Higgsfield.
How can you pay for a subscription that has unlimited usage for the first seven days for certain models, and then when you try to generate with those models, you're told you're out of credits? It is actually meant to be unlimited usage for the first seven days, and it’s definitely not.
Be aware of this before you purchase a subscription from Higgsfield.
Update:
Perhaps stupidly, because I couldn't use what I was entitled to use for free without buying more credits, I was stupid enough to buy more credits. So that's another £70 I've spent that is now useless to me as well, because you get the same error over and over and over again when trying to generate videos with, for example, Seedance 2.0.
It is the same error over and over and over again. So that's well over £300 now spent on absolutely nothing because the platform is obviously oversubscribed. I've Googled the error, and that is basically what that error means. My images have already been approved on their platform, and yet it throws this error repeatedly: IP check not finished for input media

I cancelled before renewal, but was still charged $150. Support keeps pointing to their refund policy instead of properly checking the cancellation issue.
The “unlimited generations” also feel misleading. In my experience, Nano Banana 2K unlimited is so slow that it becomes almost unusable, which pushes you toward spending credits instead.
Very frustrating subscription model and poor support.

full satisfied but i took annual plan did'nt one video model unlimited for 365 days rest worth the money
I Have read a lot of reviews that were saying Higgsfield had predatory billing practicies and that They offered Unlimited access to certain AI models but then it wasnt Unlimited . Upon Review they had a misunderstanding and didnt fully read that tose Unlimited were not the 365 day one but a 7 day . I Was on creator plan but due to some Banking payment confusion I was dropped off plan to Free plan which I did not Understand and reached out to Higgsfield Support ( Robin) within 3 business days they reached out to me and explained and as a courtesy they Re- Established My Creator plan back to what it was . I was extremely happy as I feel that out of all other Platforms , Higgsfield gives you the most AI tools then any other Companies ( even if they seem cheaper) They actually use over 10 times more credit usage to creat Videos , images etc. then Higgsfield. and those other cmpanies you end up spending more! I hope that one day I can work with Higgsfield as a Creator / Collaberator.
I am deeply dissatisfied with this platform.
When I subscribed to the 'Creator Plan' in November for a staggering $1,000, key features such as 'Access to all models' and an 'Unlimited Video Model' were explicitly guaranteed as core parts of my contract .
Today, I have to realize that these promises are being systematically devalued.
New models like Seedance 2.0 are being withheld from existing subscribers and locked behind new, additional paywalls. Furthermore, the 'Unlimited Video Model' promised in my plan has been effectively deactivated and is no longer usable. When I contact support about this, I am simply told that the feature is 'currently not available'.
The technical performance is just as disappointing: The site struggles with bugs on a weekly basis, and for the supposedly 'unlimited' image generation, one sometimes has to wait up to two hours for results.
The support team responds only with evasive standard templates and tries to shift the blame onto third-party providers—which is simply not credible, as the exact same models function flawlessly on other platforms.
One gets the clear impression that the company prefers to pour massive marketing budgets into influencers rather than supporting loyal existing customers and maintaining product stability. The strategy seems obvious: existing benefits are being actively deactivated or restricted to force customers into even more expensive tiers.
For me, as a professional user, this is a massive disappointment and a clear breach of contract. I cannot recommend this service to anyone who values reliability and fair terms. I am documenting this experience and will definitely not renew my subscription once this year is over.

I am experienced with AI products and only tried Higgsfield due to their marketing on unlimited use.
I won't list out all the issues here as other customer reviews cover them perfectly, for the refund policy the review by Aleksa Masic nails it.
I found the service very slow, the features misleadingly hyped and the refund policy in my view is predatory.
Given my experience, I'd recommend people try out cheap or free local tools that can utilise the likes of Nano Banana using API credits as that way you are paying for what you use and not tied into a hyped and misleading ongoing subscription.
I did reach out to their support, the fact I ended up here tells you all you need to know.

Higgfield is great but I have one frustration. If I open kling (for example) from the top toolbar, I get the controls on the side. If i select create video from home screen instead, it opens full screen. Full screen show the "unlimited" toggle if available. The other way does not. So I missed out on all of my "unlimited" bonus because it was not showing up because I opened kling form the toolbar. Make the "unlimited" bonus available no matter how you open the software. Very annoying and probably enough to make me go elsewhere.

I was promised unlimited image and video generations(video on some models not all? X365. And after using it for 2 weeks. The only unlimited video generations which was Minimax Hailuo. I completely understand bait and switch. What can we do. I signed up for the whole year.
