I had a question about a large amount of credit usage and initially thought there might have been duplicate charges. Christopher and the Higgsfield support team were very responsive and helped me understand how to review the detailed usage history.
Once I narrowed down the specific time periods, they checked the underlying generations and confirmed that each charge corresponded to a separate completed output. Their explanation was clear, professional, and helped me understand exactly where the credits had gone.
I appreciated that they took the time to investigate rather than giving me a generic response. The only improvement I’d suggest would be making the usage history and per-model credit costs a little more obvious up front, because it can be easy to burn through a lot of credits quickly with the higher-cost video models.
Overall, I was very satisfied with the support experience and felt the issue was handled fairly and thoroughly.

I am giving this experience 1 out of 5.
I was charged two different amounts for my subscription, USD 29 and USD 25, even though only one of them corresponded to the plan I purchased.
I contacted support by email to request a refund for the incorrect charge, but I never received a response.
The lack of support and the fact that the billing issue remains unresolved have made this a very disappointing experience.

The product is decent but the company is very shady. After signing up for a monthly pro plan they immediately tried to upsell me their annual plan to access free AI model usage that I was promised for my pro account. It took me 15min to verify that I actually have the pro account that I signed up for and the free model usage. They almost tricked me in signing up for their annual plan.
Then when I cancelled my subscription they have this multiple step process where you have to confirm the cancellation at the end hoping that you miss it which I did.
After discovering another monthly charge I messaged their support team asking for cancelling my account and a refund. I didn't use any of the token or any other usage but they insist on their terms and aren't doing anything.
I will never use their service again.
There are enough competitors who value their customers.

I had an issue with a charge on my account and contacted Higgsfield’s support team regarding a refund. The support team was responsive and took the time to review my situation and explain their decision clearly. The communication was professional and helpful throughout the process.
Thank you higgsfield !

I recently discovered an attempted charge of €71.98 to my credit card from Higgsfield AI / Higgsfield Inc., despite the fact that I had not knowingly made a purchase or gone through their website to authorize this payment.
This is extremely concerning. I have no explanation for how my card details could have been associated with this attempted transaction, and it raises serious questions about the security of their payment system and how customer payment information is being handled.
I cannot confirm how they obtained my card information, so I will not make a definitive accusation that they intentionally collected it or committed fraud. However, an unauthorized attempted charge is unacceptable and should be investigated immediately.
I strongly recommend that anyone who has previously interacted with Higgsfield check their bank and credit-card statements carefully for unexpected charges.
Higgsfield should provide a clear explanation of why an attempted €71.98 charge was made, what account or transaction it was associated with, and how my payment information was obtained or stored.
Until this is properly explained, I consider this experience highly suspicious and deeply concerning.

Scammers. I signed up for a free trial. After trying it for about an hour I realised their free trial was very limited and didn’t actually allow me to try anything so I deleted the account the same day. The next day, without an active account with them, they charged my card with a monthly subscription without any sort of notification. After noticing the charge on my bank account I had to reactivate the Higgsfield account just to cancel the subscription. As I’ve tried to cancel the subscriptions, it still says my subscription will renew in a month. And I can’t delete my card. So seemingly I can’t cancel the subscription by clicking cancel, or by removing my card because it won’t let me, or by deleting the account.

I signed up intending to buy a monthly subscription. At checkout the price was presented as a monthly figure. What was actually taken from my card was €450 for a full year, upfront. The annual total was not clearly disclosed before I confirmed payment.
I discovered the charge only when it appeared on my card statement. Within the same day I cancelled the subscription and emailed support requesting a refund. I had used the service exactly once — a single video generation, under 1% of the credits.
I received an automated acknowledgement stating a specialist would respond within 24 hours. That deadline passed. I then received a second template message saying they were experiencing high volume and would reply "as soon as possible" — no date, no case owner, no substantive answer.
The product itself is capable. That is not the issue. The issue is a checkout flow that makes an annual commitment easy to miss, combined with a support process that acknowledges you and then goes silent.
If Higgsfield resolves this and issues the refund, I will update this review to reflect that.

Updated Sept 2026:
Since I left this review, the Higgsfield team and I communicated via email and they were able to recover the credits. To reflect the full picture of my experience I have updated this review from 1 star to 4 star.
Original review July 2026:
This is a warning for all users before using: BEWARE of Higgsfield subscription credit deduction policy - this is a tactic to steal your credits.
When you select a plan and use their service for over a month, any remaining subscription credits from previous billing cycle DO NOT carry forward.
If you upgrade or downgrade your plan, it's the same story.
Any credits (e.g. the 1,912.45 credits I had already paid for) show as "Deducted" when the unused credits from that earlier cycle clear and a new billing period begins.
Higgsfield's Jason Customer Care Specialist said in his own words: "This is by design."
Subscription credits that reset at the end of a billing cycle can't be restored retroactively, so deducted credits aren't something Higgsfield can recover, refund, or process - yet, they are happy to take your money.
In other words: they charge you for ANY plan, and you don't use the credits that month, you loose them.
Unfortunately for me it's been an expensive experience, and I'm hopeful that you will be avoid making the same mistake.
This honest review reflects use of this platform over 7 months on 2026.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Higgsfield.ai. They advertised 24 hours of free access, so I entered my credit card details and waited almost the entire day, but the access was never activated.
An invoice was generated, and I also received a notification from my bank, yet Higgsfield sent no clear confirmation email explaining whether the free access had started, when it would expire, or when automatic billing would begin. This creates a serious risk that the trial could activate while the customer is unavailable and then convert into a paid subscription without proper notice.
The lack of transparent communication, clear activation status, and billing notifications is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. A company handling customers’ payment details should provide immediate confirmation, visible trial timing, and clear reminders before any automatic charge.
This experience felt misleading and has significantly reduced my trust in Higgsfield.ai. I expected much better transparency and customer service from a company operating at this level.

Overall, the platform is good and works well. However, I experienced a UX issue during checkout where the site didn't show a loading or confirmation screen, which led to an accidental double charge. Also, I feel that the overall pricing is a bit too high.
That being said, their customer service is excellent. Mason from support helped me immediately, took responsibility for the glitch, and processed a full refund without any hassle. A solid product with great support, just needs some UI improvements and better pricing.

They are a fuçking scammers, be very careful guys, they did a 1 day free trial, after trying it nothing was working, they just collected my card details, and charged me the day after without my permission, when I asked for a refund, they denied, even though I didn't use any credits neither in the free trial nor after they charge. And their cause is even stupid, saying it's a renewal, how's something I couldn't even try in the free trial nor after charging me considered a renewal?

Reply from Higgsfield AI
Tested the 3-day free trial. It converted into a paid Plus subscription (€58.31) with no clear warning before the charge. Support said refunds only apply to the initial purchase, not renewals, per their Terms (Section 9.3). Also worth knowing: deleting your account does not automatically cancel the subscription — you need to cancel it separately, or you'll keep getting billed. Under EU law, providers must clearly notify users before a trial converts to paid; that didn't happen here. If you try the trial, set a reminder and cancel manually before it renews — don't rely on deleting the account

Refused to refund a completely unused renewal
My Plus Plan auto-renewed even though I had barely used the service at all. I contacted support within hours of noticing the charge: zero credits used in the new billing period, cancellation requested immediately.
Support confirmed the cancellation but refused any refund, citing their policy that only initial purchases are refundable – even though the billing period is entirely unused and refunding it would cost them nothing. I know from other reviews here that Higgsfield has made goodwill refunds in comparable cases, so this feels arbitrary.
The product itself may be good, but a company that keeps money for a service the customer explicitly doesn’t want and hasn’t touched doesn’t treat its customers fairly.
Higgsfield team: I’m happy to share my ticket number and account details privately so you can look into the case – and to update this review if you resolve it.

They charged me even though I had canceled my subscriptions. I tried to contact them but told me i can't get a refund. Would definitely not recommand this app

My Higgsfield Plus subscription was automatically renewed on July 19, 2026, and 1,000 subscription credits were added to my account at 2:23 PM.
I had forgotten to cancel before the renewal date. After noticing the charge, I contacted Higgsfield Support on the same day and requested a refund. I explained clearly that:
None of the 1,000 renewed credits had been used;
My account still showed the complete balance of 1,000 out of 1,000 credits;
I was willing to have all renewed credits and subscription benefits removed immediately;
I had already cancelled the subscription myself to prevent any further charges.
However, the support representative refused the request solely by referring to Section 9.3 of the refund policy, which excludes subscription renewals. No individualized consideration or meaningful solution was offered, despite the renewed service being completely unused.
I understand that companies have refund policies, but I believe a reasonable one-time goodwill exception should be considered when a customer contacts support immediately, has consumed no credits, and is willing to surrender all renewed benefits.
I have asked Higgsfield to escalate the matter to a billing supervisor or manager for manual review. I will update this review if the company provides a fair resolution.
At present, my experience has been disappointing because the response focused only on the policy rather than the actual circumstances of the case.

My experience with Higgsfield has been completely unacceptable.
I signed up and paid for a subscription specifically to use their AI tools for a legitimate project. Within days, I was prevented from using the service because my AI-generated content was flagged for supposedly looking too much like a real person or someone famous. If these are restrictions that can prevent paying customers from using the product, they should be made crystal clear before taking anyone's money.
After this happened, I started researching other customer experiences and found page after page of complaints describing similar problems with subscriptions, billing, refunds, and customer support. I also found numerous complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau. That made me seriously question whether the way this company treats paying customers is an isolated problem or part of a much larger pattern.
I expect a full refund. It is unacceptable to charge customers for a service they cannot reasonably use because of restrictions that are not made obvious before payment. Companies should not profit from confusing subscription practices or make it unnecessarily difficult for dissatisfied customers to recover their money.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Higgsfield to anyone. Until the company becomes transparent about its policies, improves its customer support, and treats customers fairly, I believe potential subscribers should think very carefully before giving them their money. I also believe the number of public complaints about the company's business practices deserves close attention from consumer protection authorities... Your explanation it's not but just a lie. you saw my contant how come it wasn't flagged right away? There are 100's of AI modeles. Are you flagging each on of them because they look like a human? Update 7/20/2026 .............To Higgsfield Team,
I have carefully reviewed your response and the applicable section of your Terms of Use. While I appreciate your clarification regarding commercial usage rights, I find the licensing provisions deeply concerning.
I subscribed to Higgsfield with the understanding that I was paying to create original commercial assets for my own brand. At no point during the signup process was I clearly informed that, by using your platform, I would also be granting Higgsfield a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use my prompts and generated outputs for AI training, model development, and marketing purposes.
This is not a minor administrative provision. It is a material term that directly affects creators who invest substantial time, creativity, and money into developing original intellectual property. Such a significant licensing grant should have been presented in a clear, prominent, and unmistakable manner before I committed to your service—not buried within lengthy Terms of Use that most customers reasonably do not expect to contain provisions of this magnitude.
Over the past several months, I have invested significant time, effort, and subscription fees developing my project in good faith, believing that I was creating assets solely for my own commercial use. Had this licensing provision been clearly disclosed in a prominent manner before I subscribed, it could have materially influenced my decision to use your platform.
I respectfully disagree with the manner in which this information was disclosed. Transparency is essential when creators are being asked to grant perpetual rights to their creative work. I believe users deserve to make an informed decision before investing months of work into building original brands and intellectual property.
Accordingly, I am requesting that Higgsfield formally review my account and this matter. I also request that you explain why this material licensing provision was not presented more prominently during the signup process or before users began creating content.
THIS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL!!
Jonathan

I did not use the credits and they just removed it !!
it is very stupid. I used the video models and some are okay and some are cery bad . The pricing is very unfair, especially since they took all my unused credits that is worth over $50 just to charge me again the next month.
The canvas feature is very bad, it does not generate images 50 percent of the times, it is also very very slow.
Further, if you just cancel your plan, they will take all your credits even if you have just renewd your subscription !
I hate it

I've been using Higgsfield for AI video/image production for about a week now, and my experience has been mixed.
On the positive side, the Discord support team (shoutout to Theo) was genuinely helpful — responses weren't always fast, likely because they're dealing with a high volume of cases, but they were honest and actually followed through on resolving issues, including a duplicate charge refund and a system bug that removed my active add-on perks.
However, I ran into several frustrating issues along the way. First, the checkout system let me get charged twice, seconds apart, for the same "Ultra Monthly 3K Addon" — something that shouldn't even be possible to purchase more than once. Even after confirming this was a duplicate and clearly not something I intended, support still deducted a 6% "service fee" from the refund, citing their standard refund policy, despite the charge being entirely their system's error, not mine.
Second, while working on the Higgsfield website on my PC, a promotional popup for the "GPT Image 2 (2K) - 7-days Unlimited" bundle appeared right as I was mid-click on something else, and the popup's buy button ended up exactly where my click landed — resulting in an unintended purchase. When I explained this and requested a refund, support told me: "the bundle is categorized as a non-initial purchase, add-ons like this fall outside what our Terms of Use allows us to refund, regardless of how the purchase happened, whether it overlaps with existing access, or whether it's been used." Since it apparently doesn't qualify as an "initial purchase," it was ruled ineligible for a refund entirely — and I was stuck using an add-on I never meant to buy for a full 7 days.
Because I already have a card on file for my active subscription, any accidental click on these popups turns into an instant charge — there's no confirmation step to catch a mistake before it goes through. It honestly made me question whether this is unintentional at all. After these two incidents, I tried to remove my card from the account to prevent it from happening again, but found out you can't remove a card while a subscription is active — you have to cancel the subscription first. So I ended up cancelling my subscription entirely just to get the card off my account.
The models and features themselves are solid, but the checkout UX and refund policy need real improvement — the system makes accidental charges easy to trigger and then refuses to take responsibility for it.

UPDATE: I raise the score to 4 out of 5, it's getting better. The website could still use some help docs and video explainers, but thanks to SUPER COMPUTER having a FREE version, all your questions are able to be answered here. I do not like using discord for help as it's a separate app and feel like a cheap way to communicate with the paying customer, but with SUPER COMPUTER I am able to avoid discord for most questions.
You would be better off finding one tool that works for you and pay for just that one tool. Higgsfield is a playground. DO NOT TAKE IT SERIOUSLY!
While there are plenty of fun things to play with (playground), no one at this company takes their own products seriously enough to keep them running properly. No manual, no instructions, no help section. Just tons of AI toys all dumped into one place. I have access to about 10 different video generators but I have no clue what makes them different. Sure, I could google them all, and have... HOWEVER the issue is the sloppy method of dumping them all into this one platform without so much as an attempt to make things user friendly.
BUT ALSO it feels scammy when certain tools haven't been functional in almost a year, and everyone on their discord is complaining about these broken features and non-functioning tools, but Higgsfield continues to advertise these tools and refuses to acknowledge they actually do not work anymore.
When you press STOP, the generation does not stop, or it will stop but you will still get charged for it. FaceSwapping has NEVER worked since I've been on the platform, but I have been charge for 12 face swaps while never having a single one complete the task.
It's fun to mess around with, but this company doesn't take themselves seriously and it's very obvious.
