The company is making their profit by overcharging and not honoring customer service. The actual product doesn’t work well but unlike their competitors they won’t issue refund or work with you at all. You will get a message that they will charge for what they said they could. Zero human service. The actual product is poor quality. Do not work with them.

I did not agree for Higgsfield to steal my money. I made 4 videos (50 seconds each) and credits were almost gone, and apparently its ok for them to refill without asking. They call it “on demand”credits, but I did not want more credits, they just took my money and send me credits automatically. No questions asked. I did not agree to that.
I agreed to 48usd a month and got a second charge of 50usd charge with in a week… I will not ever be back here, I cancelled, and I will cancel my card because you might think it is ok to take money from my card without asking again.
I Am soooooo dissappointed! This is stealing and no refunds policy!
Credits are very expensive, its just not worth it.
Update to Higgsfield response:
I will not waste my time, you well know what I Am talking about, its not a second monthly payment, its “on-demand” credits wich I did not agree to buy. This was my first month ever, there will not be a second one.

★☆☆☆☆ — Extremely Expensive, Unreliable and Terrible Customer Service
I genuinely cannot recommend Higgsfield. For the prices they charge, the quality, reliability and customer service are shockingly poor.
Unless you're paying for one of their highest subscription tiers, generation times are painfully slow. You're potentially spending £20 or more for just 30 seconds of video, assuming the result is even usable.
In my experience, 9 out of 10 generations fail, often on the most basic instructions. I've tested multiple models, carefully refined my prompts and tried numerous approaches, yet the results remain consistently disappointing.
Motion transfer struggles to follow straightforward reference footage, and even simple dialogue scripts are regularly mispronounced or changed entirely. These should be basic capabilities for a platform charging such premium prices.
The worst part is that every failed generation costs you credits. You're essentially paying for the platform's inability to perform the tasks it's advertised to do.
When I requested a refund, I was told I wasn't eligible because I'd already used credits. How exactly is anyone supposed to discover how poorly a service performs without actually using it? It's an incredibly unfair approach when customers are spending money on repeated failed generations.
What disappointed me most was the customer service. I would have happily considered continuing to use the platform if they'd shown even an ounce of understanding or willingness to resolve my concerns. Instead, I've received nothing but defensive responses, no meaningful solutions and seemingly zero interest in retaining me as a customer.
I completely understand AI isn't perfect, but at these prices, expecting basic functionality and reasonable customer support shouldn't be asking too much.
If you value your money, your time and your sanity, I'd strongly recommend staying away from Higgsfield. There are plenty of alternative platforms worth exploring before wasting your money here.

First experience: I bought a one-day unlimited pass to use Seedance 2.5. My video froze and stayed stuck for over 12 hours. I contacted support and got no answer to fix it.
Second experience: I was charged 128 EUR when I wanted to cancel. I contacted support the same day, having spent zero credits. Their answer was that it’s a renewal, so it’s not refundable, with a reference to their terms.
So support is silent when the product doesn’t work, but quick to explain why you won’t get your money back. It feels like dealing with a company like Adobe: poor customer support, and no chance to charge you is missed.
I wouldn’t recommend it, especially if you may want to cancel at some point.

I signed up through a challenge run by another provider and thought I was making a one-time €15 payment. It turned out to be a recurring subscription, which I hadn’t realized. I contacted Higgsfield’s support team, and they handled it really well. They were understanding and professional, cancelled my subscription, and made sure I wouldn’t be charged again. I only paid the one initial charge, which is what I expected in the first place. I’m grateful for how fairly they treated me, and I appreciate good customer service like this.

stay away! they over charge . Don’t fall for that concerned reply neither . Trust me, its automated bull to make it seem like they care. Go elsewhere . They will try to make you upgrade the plan every chance they get and if you try to cancel, you will get a fee on the cancel and lose the original credit you had from the original plan and back to the free 0 plan . They got 100 something dollars free pretty much . At least give me original credit back but also they overcharge on credits for the generations compared to other sites and so much more I’d be here all day . Just go elsewhere .

Update, October 7, 2026: Higgsfield reconsidered my case and offered a one-time refund of the October 4 charge, less a 6% processing fee. I have accepted the offer and am currently waiting for the refund to be processed. I will update this review again once the refund is completed.
On September 4, 2026, I contacted Higgsfield immediately after a $64.90 Plus renewal and stated in writing that I had cancelled the subscription to prevent further renewals. Support replied that no cancellation was scheduled and asked me to confirm. I missed that reply, so I accept that I failed to complete the confirmation. However, the subscription remained active and I was charged another $64.90 on October 4.
I contacted support immediately after noticing the second charge. All 1,200 credits issued for the October billing cycle remain completely unused. I offered to let Higgsfield remove all of the credits and terminate my paid access immediately. I also offered to accept a partial refund after a reasonable fee if a full refund was not possible.
Support still refused both a refund and any further discretionary review, citing its renewal policy.
I understand the policy and I am not denying my part in missing the confirmation. However, refusing any goodwill review for a completely unused renewal feels unnecessarily rigid, especially after I had already contacted support during the previous billing cycle with the clear intention of cancelling.
I am asking Higgsfield to reconsider this one unused charge and issue either a full refund or a reasonable partial refund.

I signed up for the 3-day free trial of the Plus plan to test the product. It didn't meet my expectations, but I forgot to cancel before the trial ended, and I was charged $49.00
I contacted support right away to ask for a refund. They refused, explaining that because this was the first charge after a free trial, it counts as a "renewal" rather than an "initial purchase" under Section 9.3 of their Terms. In practice, this was my first and only payment, for a service I barely used. Calling it a renewal is a technicality that works against the customer.
I understand that subscriptions renew automatically, and I take responsibility for not cancelling in time. But a company that offers free trials should show some goodwill when a customer asks for a refund immediately after an unintended first charge, especially when the account has hardly been used. Support was polite but rigid and offered no gesture, only a policy citation.

On 3 October 2026 Higgsfield charged $129 USD to my card. I did not authorize it.
I emailed support the same day from my account address and asked for three things: a full refund, deletion of my card and stored payment details, and cancellation of anything set to bill me again. I've given them 48 hours to confirm in writing. If they don't, I'm disputing the charge with my card issuer.
If you sign up anyway, use a virtual card with a spending limit. Once your card is on file, getting your money back depends entirely on a support inbox.

Never trust higgsfield.ai, they don't have any clear refund policy , too many steps and they ask you to email them with providing too many information which can be done by one click in other similar applications. moreover, they charge you 6% even if they approve the refund.

Update, 1 October 2026: Higgsfield has now refunded the $49 in full and cancelled the subscription. The credit is due on my card within 5 to 10 working days; I will note here if it does not arrive. So the ending is right. The route to it was not.
The sequence: my refund request was refused within 20 minutes, citing Section 9.3 and calling the post-trial charge a "renewal". I replied citing Section 17.2 of their own Terms, which gives UK and EEA consumers 14 days to withdraw with a full refund and states that it overrides 9.3, and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. I was promised a specialist within 24 hours; the reply came about two hours after that window closed, offered the refund as a "one-time exception", and warned that a processing fee of up to 6% might be deducted. UK law does not permit a fee on a withdrawal refund. I pointed that out, and the full amount was issued.
At no point has Higgsfield acknowledged Section 17.2, which is what actually entitled me to the refund. Their reply under this review cites Section 10.7, which covers cancelling before a trial ends to avoid the charge. It does not cover the right to withdraw after the charge. That is 17.2.
If you are a UK or EEA consumer in this position: cite Section 17.2 and the 2013 Regulations in your first email, do not accept "renewal", and do not accept a fee. It took three emails here, and it should have taken none.
Original review, 30 September, kept for the record:
I signed up for Higgsfield's 3-day Plus trial on 26 September 2026 through their MCP integration and didn't get round to using it. At 13:38 on 29 September the trial ended and $49 was taken from my card. At 13:45, seven minutes later, I emailed support asking to cancel and refund. I had not used a single credit of the paid plan.
Support refused within 20 minutes (ticket
#292026), citing Section 9.3 of their Terms of Use: refunds are only for "initial purchases", and a charge that follows a free trial is treated as a "renewal". Their logic appears to be that the $0 trial counts as the initial purchase, so the first real payment is never refundable. They cancelled the renewal and kept the money.
What the reply did not mention is that Section 9.3 itself tells EEA and UK consumers to see Section 17.2, which gives a 14-day right of withdrawal with a full refund and states that 17.2 overrides 9.3. UK consumers also have a 14-day cancellation right on distance contracts under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. I was three days into the contract.
I replied setting this out and asking for escalation. I was told a specialist would respond within 24 hours. A specialist replied about two hours after that window closed; see the update above.
So, to be clear about what you are buying: a "free" trial that converts into a charge you will not get back unless you know your rights and argue them, and a support team that quotes the part of the Terms that suits them and leaves out the part that applies to you.

Very disappointed with the unexpected price increase
Higgsfield charged me €100 more for my subscription than I paid last month. I use Higgsfield every day, so seeing such a large difference in the amount charged was a shock. I’m checking my billing details and expect a clear explanation of the charge and a refund if it was a mistake.
I’ve enjoyed using the platform, which makes this even more disappointing. This experience has damaged my trust, and I’ve decided this will be my last month with Higgsfield.

Update 3 Oct 2026:
Four days after I updated this review and emailed Higgsfield rejecting their partial refund (with 6% fee) and demanding either full account restoration or a full refund with no fee, they replied on Trustpilot with a generic message.
They finally replied me on this review 2 Oct and told me to “check my inbox and spam” and that the case stays open until I choose an option — even though I already made my position clear in writing on 29 September and in the previous update of this review.
They continue to blame the missed “7-day verification window” while ignoring that:
- Their own replies were delayed
- The card verification prompt itself kept failing
- I sent the bank statement they requested as soon as they asked
- Refusing to restore the account permanently deletes all my previous generations and assets, which are irreplaceable
Their latest Trustpilot reply shows they either did not read the case properly or are deliberately avoiding a real response.
Service quality may be good, but the customer support handling of this payment-security lock has been unprofessional and dismissive.
Please reply my email as soon as possible since you were ready to proceed “as soon as I let you know my option”(which I did that 4days ago).
Update 29 Sep 2026 23:40:
After I left my review here, Higgsfield finally replied me that they will not restore my account because the card verification was not completed within their 7-day window.
This is unreasonable. I followed every instruction as soon as I received it. Their own replies were delayed, and the verification prompt itself kept failing with “We couldn’t verify this card” even though the payment had already gone through and appears on my statement.
They are now only offering a refund of the payment minus a 6% processing fee, while permanently locking the account and all previous generations/assets I created.
I have replied requesting either full account restoration (including all previous assets) or a full refund with no fee.
I paid for a 1-year subscription in good faith. Losing access to irreplaceable work and then being asked to pay a fee for their failed verification process is UNACCOUNTABLE.
Previous review:
I paid in full for a 1-year subscription. The charge appears clearly on my credit card statement under the same card linked to the account. Shortly after, my account was temporarily limited for a “payment-security review” and I was told to verify the card.
Every attempt to verify fails with the error: “We couldn’t verify this card. Please try again.”
I emailed support, sent the bank statement as requested (20th Aug HIGGSFIELD INC.
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-5572
SAN FRANCISCOUS
Paid: SGD 1551.33)
, and received a reply on 22 September confirming the document had been passed to the review team. They said nothing further was needed from me. It has now been more than a week with zero update and the account remains completely locked.
I use the exact same payment method without any issues on YouTube, Netflix, GoPro, ChatGPT and other services. The verification failure is not my responsibility.
This prolonged lock has seriously disrupted my content creation work. I have followed every instruction given by Higgsfield and provided the required proof of payment, yet I still cannot access the service I already paid for.
I am requesting an immediate manual review, full restoration of account access, and appropriate compensation for the period the account has been unavailable.

Unauthorized $15 charge after months of inactivity – Will update upon resolution
I was shocked to find an unauthorized charge of $15 USD on my card from HIGGSFIELD INC.
To be clear, I haven’t used or interacted with this website in months, so there is zero chance I clicked or authorized anything by mistake recently. Out of nowhere, this charge appeared without any notice, confirmation, or receipt sent to my email.
I have already contacted their support team demanding an immediate cancellation and a full refund back to my card ending in 5078.
I am leaving a 1-star review for now. I will gladly update and change this rating as soon as their team resolves this issue and refunds my money on the spot.
Update: Support opened Ticket #284717. Awaiting their response and full refund within 24 hours.
UPDATE (Refund Processed - Pending Arrival):
Higgsfield support (Alan) responded promptly, confirmed the unauthorized charge on an unrecognized account, cancelled the subscription, and processed a full $15 refund.
I am waiting for the funds to clear and show up in my bank account/statement (requested the ARN tracking number). Once the money is safely returned to my card, I will immediately update this review to 5 stars for their quick and responsive support team.
....
UPDATE (Resolved - 5 Stars):
Excellent and fast customer support! Alan from Higgsfield addressed the unauthorized charge promptly, processed a full refund, and provided the bank ARN tracking number. Extremely professional support team that values customer satisfaction. Thank you!

EDIT: Update after about a week: After I contacted support (again) and asked for an escalation, they helped me and the refund was issued. I've therefore updated my rating to 3/5. Even though I still think the payment structure on this platform is a problem (not transparent enough), they did respond to my complaints. As I mentioned before, the actual product and the quality of the video models are really good. Just make sure to familiarize yourself with best practices for AI video prompting beforehand to save tokens. It can get expensive really fast.
Original Review:
I want to warn other customers about how Higgsfield handles Auto-Refill charges and refunds.
On 22 September, Auto-Refill triggered twice on my account, charging me 108.10 EUR each time. I had not enabled this consciously and there was no confirmation step or notification before either payment was taken. The money was simply debited.
I requested a refund only for the second charge, since I accepted that the credits from the first one had been used. Support reviewed my account and confirmed in writing: "The credits from this second purchase remain available on your account and have not been used."
Their own published refund policy states that Auto-Refill charges are refundable within 7 days of the charge if no credits from that charge have been used. Both conditions were met, confirmed by their own review.
The refund was refused anyway. The reason given: "based on the applicable billing and refund conditions, this transaction does not qualify for a refund, and we're unable to make an exception in this case." No clause was cited, no explanation given for how this fits the published policy.
So to summarise: an automatic charge I never actively made, credits that were never used and now never can be since my subscription is cancelled, a refund policy that explicitly covers this situation, and a flat refusal with no stated reason.
A few things other users should know before paying:
Check whether Auto-Refill is enabled. It is easy to miss in the account area and there is no warning before it charges you.
The published refund policy and the actual decisions do not necessarily match.
Keep every email. Their written confirmation that credits are unused is useful evidence if you need to dispute the charge with your card issuer.
The models themselves produce good results and I genuinely enjoyed working with the tool. But the billing practices around automatic charges, and refusing refunds that their own policy allows, are not acceptable. I would not recommend putting payment details into this platform.
Title: Higgsfield wiped out 1,127 unused credits and refused a goodwill credit
I am seriously disappointed with Higgsfield.
I signed up because I wanted to try the platform before deciding whether I wanted to keep paying for it every month. I used only a handful of credits while figuring everything out, then life got in the way and I had to put the project aside for a while.
When I came back to actually use Higgsfield for the animation project I originally bought it for, I discovered that 1,127.01 credits were gone.
That was basically the entire package I paid for.
Apparently, subscription credits expire at the end of each billing period whether you use them or not.
I had absolutely no idea.
And Higgsfield is confusing AF for a first time user. There are a million things going on on the website. Models, studios, generators, effects, tools, different credit systems, menus everywhere, and constantly changing options. You are trying to figure out how to actually use the product while being buried in an enormous amount of information.
Had I understood that nearly my entire credit balance was simply going to vanish at the end of the billing period, I obviously would have used it.
I contacted support and explained exactly what happened. I was not asking for a refund. I was not disputing the charge. I was not trying to get something for free.
I asked for a goodwill credit because I genuinely misunderstood a major part of how their product works and ended up getting almost no value from the $60 I spent.
They refused.
Their response was essentially that the expiration policy is in their Terms of Use and they are not able to make an exception, so too bad.
That is what bothers me.
Yes, the policy exists. I understand that now. The entire reason I contacted them was because I did not understand it when I subscribed.
There is a difference between technically having something buried in your terms and making something important clear to a brand new customer. If virtually the entire thing someone just paid for is going to disappear at the end of the month whether they use it or not, that should be extremely obvious.
Instead, I lost 1,127.01 credits, contacted them immediately after realizing what happened, explained the misunderstanding, told them I had actually come back specifically to use Higgsfield for the project I originally bought it for, and asked for a goodwill credit.
No flexibility. No courtesy adjustment. Just policy.
So if you are thinking about subscribing to Higgsfield, pay very close attention to the credits.
They do not roll over.
If you do not use them before the billing period ends, they disappear.
All of them.
I wish Higgsfield made that nearly as obvious as they make all the shiny new tools they want you to try.

Super frustrating. I very clearly stated that I wanted to cancel my purchase and get a refund because I wasn't planning on using it.
Instead of processing the cancellation and refund, they kept the subscription active while waiting for a redundant confirmation email from me... something I didn't realize they were doing. As a result, I was hit with a charge for a second month without my knowledge.
When you ask to cancel and refund a service you aren't using, a customer shouldn't have to jump through hoops or guess that their account is still secretly active. Extremely disappointed with how this was handled.

Extremely disappointed with Higgsfield Billing services, I was shown to upgrade $41 pricing when I tried to upgrade and pay the price reverted to $59 this is totally unacceptable, how can you charge extra $216 then what was shown. Now the billing department is sayin your only option is to take refund that too I get 6% deducted amount, this is open daylight robbing.
I really liek the higgsfield videos but now you are discouraging people using these cheap tactics,

I subscribed to Higgsfield’s Max plan ($79/month, 1,800 credits) specifically because the pricing page advertised several models as “unlimited” during a 7-day window.
The models I relied on included:
• Nano Banana Pro at 2K: 7-day unlimited
• Nano Banana 2 at 2K: 7-day unlimited
• Seedream 4.5: unlimited
• Other models were also presented as part of the unlimited offering.
The entire reason I chose the Max plan over a cheaper tier was the ability to generate freely on these models during the advertised unlimited period without consuming my monthly credit balance.
Unfortunately, that is not what is happening in practice.
Every “unlimited” model I have tested is still deducting credits when I generate:
• Nano Banana Pro: 2 credits per generation
• Nano Banana 2: 1 credit per generation
• Seedream 4.5: 1 credit per generation
What makes this particularly frustrating is that I accessed these models through the unlimited offer itself. The interface continues to indicate that the model is unlimited until I actually generate. At that point, credits are deducted.
This has happened consistently across multiple generations and across multiple models, so it does not appear to be an isolated charge or a one-time glitch.
From a customer’s perspective, there is a straightforward expectation when a plan says a model is “unlimited”: generations during the specified unlimited period should not consume the plan’s limited monthly credits. If there are conditions, caps, or credit deductions attached to the word “unlimited,” those conditions should be clearly disclosed before purchase and generation.
Instead, I am currently using my 1,800 paid credits on models I understood to be included in the unlimited benefit. That significantly changes the value of the Max plan I purchased.
I’m documenting this here before contacting Higgsfield support directly.
If this is a technical issue, I hope Higgsfield fixes it and restores any credits that were deducted incorrectly. If “unlimited” is subject to conditions that explain these charges, I’d like those conditions clearly explained.
If Higgsfield resolves the issue, I’ll gladly update this review.
For now, however, the unlimited benefit advertised to me is not functioning as I understood it when I purchased the plan.
