I was charged twice for a single purchase: once for the Plus plan, and again for an Ultra upgrade that was presented to me as a total price, not as an additional charge. What makes this unusual is that the key evidence was written by the company's own team. A support agent told me in writing that the way the offer was presented "may have created the impression that only the difference between the plans would be charged." The official receipt describes the transaction as an upgrade bundle from one plan to another, while I was separately told their system couldn't even see the first charge, two things that can't both be true. That same receipt shows an original price the discount was calculated from that appears nowhere in their public pricing. I was asked to send bank proof of the charge, sent exactly what was requested, and it was never addressed. The product itself is genuinely impressive. The way billing and support are handled is another matter.
For anyone who wants the full sequence: the first purchase was the Plus plan. The moment payment went through, a limited-time offer to upgrade to Ultra at a steep discount appeared on screen. Nothing there made clear this was a separate, additional charge, so I understood the amount shown as the full price of Ultra. My bank was charged both amounts separately. Two days later I contacted support. The first reply told me their system could only see one charge and didn't recognize the second at all, and mentioned that no receipt had been issued for one of the charges because it wasn't properly set up in their system. Yet the official receipt I did receive describes the transaction as an upgrade bundle from one plan to another, which directly contradicts the claim that the system doesn't recognize the first plan, since you can't sell an upgrade from a plan that supposedly doesn't exist. That receipt also shows an original price behind the discount that matches nothing in their public pricing. Later I sent bank screenshots proving both charges, exactly as I'd been asked to. They were never actually addressed, and the case reverted to generic template replies pointing me to the terms of use. Only after I wrote a message documenting all of this did I get a real response, which is where the line about the misleading impression came from. Throughout the whole thing I raised specific, documented points, and no one engaged with them, I was just passed between agents and templates, each starting over as if they hadn't read what came before. I've since found very similar accounts from other users describing the same confusion between an upgrade and a double charge, which makes me think this isn't a one-off.
The core of it, all drawn from their own words and documents: they acknowledged in writing that their interface can create a false impression of the price; their official receipt calls it an upgrade from a plan they simultaneously claimed their system couldn't see; the discount was calculated from an "original price" that exists nowhere in their pricing; and they asked me for proof, then ignored it. Judge for yourselves before entering your card details.

I originally only gave this platform a shot because of their Claude Code MCP server, but honestly, it is not even worth the setup. The website feels like a cheap, Temu-style version of an image generator—cluttered, deeply frustrating to use, and incredibly credit-hungry. You are constantly bombarded with infinite popups and pushy prompts begging you to upgrade your plan.
To make matters worse, their platform's system integrity is non-existent. I explicitly went through the steps to cancel my Higgsfield Plus subscription via the dashboard last week, but due to a technical glitch on their end, the cancellation failed to register on their backend. As a result, I was hit with an automatic renewal charge anyway.
Even though I have used absolutely zero credits since this erroneous charge occurred and reached out immediately to resolve it, customer support completely refused to help. The representative completely ignored the fact that this was a technical platform glitch, choosing instead to hide behind a rigid company policy (Terms of Use Section 9.3) regarding renewals.
Save yourself the headache. The UI is awful, the model pricing is predatory, and they will gladly pocket your money for a service you explicitly tried to cancel and have not used.

Let me start by saying that this service is killing all my loyalty. I originally came to this product from another one with similar functionality. If the previous product only dissatisfied me with its price, this one dissatisfies me with its entire attitude toward me.Maybe it really is cheap here, but in everything else, they’re constantly trying to trick you — starting with the questionable number of generations you get even in fairly top-tier models, and ending with the strange placement of buttons that completely ruin your user experience and turn it into outright deception. It feels like they’re deliberately trying to fool you: they put two buttons in different places, label the price on only one of them, and you instinctively or intuitively click the one without the parameters listed — and as a result, they charge you three times more credits. And this happens almost everywhere.I would have paid for the service and its features anyway, and you wouldn’t have gotten any more money out of me in any case. In one scenario, you cause me harm and destroy my relationship with you. In the other, I would remain loyal for a very long time — if you would just focus on the user experience, make it genuinely good, and stop trying to deceive me at every turn.As it stands, if a truly worthy competitor appears that has all the same core advantages as you, I’ll most likely just leave. I have no interest in staying somewhere that tries to trick me. Or I’ll leave and let them trick me too — but I’d rather pay the one who has tricked me fewer times than you, even though, I repeat, I was quite loyal to your service. Please change your mindset. Do something about it. You have designers, researchers, and PMs — and yet they’re genuinely mocking people. If you really want to screw with users, just write some hidden conditions so that $200–300 gets quietly deducted from me instead of the $50 I actually want to spend. Why are you worsening my opinion of you? You’re not earning any more money from this. You could have made a cool, unique product, but instead you made something genuinely bad. That’s exactly it — bad. It’s not great, and it doesn’t deliver any special user experience in terms of what the user ultimately receives. You’re simply mocking people — why? Fine, live with it.Here’s your rating — a one. You understand: every day you wake up, go to work or work from home, and this is the evaluation of your efforts.

Extremely Disappointing Customer Support and Billing Experience
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Higgsfield.
My subscription was renewed automatically, and I contacted support immediately after noticing the charge. I canceled the subscription right away and clearly explained that I did not intend to continue the subscription and would not be using the service.
The most frustrating part is that I never used any of the renewed credits. I did not generate any content, did not spend any credits, and did not receive any benefit from the renewed subscription. Despite this, my refund request was denied.
I also changed my payment method in my Higgsfield account settings before the renewal date. However, the renewal charge was processed using the previous card instead of the card I had selected for future billing. I raised this issue multiple times, but I never received a clear explanation.
The support team requested screenshots, payment receipts, account information, card details, verification, and additional documentation. I spent days providing everything they asked for. After all of that, I received template-style responses and was simply referred back to the Terms of Service.
The charge was $154.80 USD, which is a significant amount of money. I expected a much lower renewal cost, and the final amount was higher due to taxes. As someone living in Ukraine, this amount is not insignificant, and I would never have continued the subscription knowingly at this price.
What disappointed me most was not only the refusal itself, but the lack of fair consideration. I contacted support immediately, canceled immediately, did not use the service, provided every document requested, and still received no meaningful resolution.
A customer who cancels immediately after renewal and never uses the renewed service deserves a fair review of their case, not automatic refusals and repeated references to policy.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Higgsfield to anyone who values transparent billing, fair customer treatment, and responsive customer support.

The issue is not just the refund itself.
The main problem is that I was ignored for nearly a week and left alone with a problem I reported immediately after the charge. During that time, I received delayed responses, contradictory information, and no clear resolution.
You initially refused the refund, then later offered a “one-time exception.” This only confirms that my case could have been resolved much earlier instead of forcing me through days of unnecessary stress and uncertainty.
I was also charged from a different card than the payment method I had selected before the renewal date. This issue was never properly explained. In addition, the previous renewal was around $120, while this charge was $154.80 USD.
Because of the delays, I was effectively left with an unwanted subscription that I never intended to keep. I contacted support immediately, yet the slow handling of my case left me with no practical choice.
This experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I do not consider this fair customer treatment, and I would not recommend this service based on my experience.

This first part is related to their so called Supercomputer. I would never use it again as it froze multiple times and had errors which cost me hundreds of dollars as it got stuck in generating mode multiple times and then ended up not generating anything. You’re best do just use the models like Seedance 2.0 for creating videos. I can’t believe this is not against the law as it’s like stealing money. All these platforms should not charge you money for bad video generations. I’m surprised nobody is saying anything.
Purchased the +8 concurrency boost on May 27, 2026. Was charged twice (first payment was supposed to be declined but still debited from my bank). The boost never worked, still capped at 4 generations despite following all their instructions.
Contacted support multiple times. Got two generic responses, then complete silence for over a week despite follow-ups.
Nearly €130 taken, service never delivered, no refund, no fix, no response.

Scam - they charge you, never reply to emails to cancel or get a refund, I never used the product and still can't get a hold of a person to cancel and refund my accidental purchase.
They replied here to pretend they will do something, I have followed their instructions and have STILL GOTTEN NO REPLY FOR 7 DAYS AND NUMEROUS EMAILS.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY THEY WILL STEAL HUNDREDS FROM YOU.

This company tricks you into paying extra constantly during use and make it difficult to cancel. I tired to get a refund within 5 minutes after it autorenoewed and it's the second time that they have refused to refund my money. I was looking forward to using Higgsfield in teh future but they pissed me off so much that I am disputing the second charge with my credit card, already deleted my account and never plan on usign them again. OpenArt.ai is a great alternative.

Higgsfield is doing some genuinely next-level stuff with AI video generation and creativity. The models are cool, the MCPs are cool, and the integrations they're building with Claude are impressive. As a product, this is a company worth doing business with.
Support was solid too. I had an issue with my subscription and they actually worked with me, gave me an extension since I hadn't really used it in a while, and got me sorted. The only knock there is it took a minute to get a real person on it.
Two things I'd love to see fixed on the billing side:
Billing is locked to your original signup date. If you buy in March, sit on it, then pay again in May, the next charge still lands on your original monthly date instead of giving you a fresh month from when you paid. So a late payment can leave you only a few days before the next charge hits.
Credits don't roll over. When you pay again they pull your old credits and swap in new ones, so if you didn't touch last month's, that value just disappears.
Neither one is a dealbreaker and the tech is clearly great, but fixing them would make the experience match the quality of the product. Shout out to the team.
Signed up for the ultra plan. Could not upload my content so as I never used any credits have asked for a refund. The help service desk was very slow but agreed to refund with a 6% admin charge. They told me they had cancelled my account and have refunded my money. I have yet to have this refund.

Higgsfield is a cutting-edge AI generation app, but the support staff are very kind, real human beings. Tim, who was in charge of my case, was incredibly helpful and genuinely caring — a wonderful surprise in the best possible way. I feel reassured and look forward to continuing to use Higgsfield!
I’d call this the biggest disappointment of the year! I use this service for learning from time to time, but what happened to me this month really shocked me! I paid for my subscription on May 12 and started using the service. Yesterday, May 28, I found my account locked and saw that there had been unsuccessful attempts to charge my account! I reached out to support on Discord. The manager replied that this was a billing cycle charge for an unused month! Maybe I missed something? BUT WHEN DID YOUR SERVICE BECOME A MANDATORY SUBSCRIPTION? If I don’t want to use it 12 months a year, why did you decide you could deceive your customers and charge them for months they don’t use? Especially since you’re doing it in such a sneaky and underhanded way that the customer has to manually cancel this automatic subscription themselves. Don’t you think this is fraud? Please contact me to resolve this issue at

I had an unexpected renewal charge from Higgsfield, but their support team handled the situation professionally and fairly. Tim from customer support reviewed my account quickly, explained everything clearly, and even offered a one-time refund exception despite the renewal policy in their Terms of Use.
What I appreciated most was the respectful communication and transparency throughout the process. They responded fast, clarified how the billing and credits system works, and resolved the issue without hassle.
Mistakes and misunderstandings can happen with subscriptions, but good customer support is what matters most, and Higgsfield definitely handled this well. Thanks again to Tim and the team.
Very disappointing experience, they are not transparent about their subscription and charge fees without your consent...
This feels like a scam. Don't make the mistake of subscribing, you may be charged without proper control and face difficulties cancelling or getting a refund.
They have no respect for their customers.

A good tool with potential, but really disappointing at the same time.
My biggest frustration with this platform is that you can’t properly correct a generated image without burning through credits. For example, I needed the word “July” to appear on screen, and it generated more than five different versions, all with spelling mistakes.
You have to be extremely specific with this platform just to almost get what you want, and even then, there’s no guarantee it will produce the correct result.
Personally, I don’t think it’s worth the money in its current form. They really need to improve the user experience, especially when the issue is clearly caused by the app itself. It’s incredibly frustrating to watch your credits disappear while trying to fix mistakes you didn’t create.
I understand it’s an AI platform and mistakes can happen, but then don’t charge excessive fees for every generation when users have no reliable way to correct obvious errors.

Reply from Higgsfield AI
If I could give a negative star, I would give thousands of them.
This is complete slop and useless AI video generation. They take your money and don’t give you back when you request refunds without having using their credits on a legitimate basis. Never Ever Ever Ever Ever Ever Ever Ever Ever use this platform to do anything related to videos. Videos and images take literally 3 hours to be generated.
The worst part is that the don’t even give receipts on invoices after charging you; I am currently battling to get a receipt from them regarding a charge they applied to my credit card, and they keep sending me blank PDFs and receipts links with no day on them!!! Yesssss!! Completely blank pdf files as receipts.
Don’t you there try anything thing that has to do with these Higgsfield.AI scammers.😤🤧🤬😡

I am having fun putting together my first video. It is quite the learning experience. I am watching videos on YouTube to help me. I love that it has so many options to choose from.
There are ways you can manipulate your characters movements. It's just a great program. I can't get into all of it without sitting here and writing a book about how much I love.
People talk about it being expensive. I have seen other places that give more credits, but they also charge alot more credits for each transaction than Higgsfield does. So it actually equals out to about the same in the long run of things.

Billing issues but support was helpful
The video quality is good, but the billing system needs improvement. My subscription was suspended due to a failed payment, and when it was charged later (on April 10), the system still renewed again on April 30 — just 20 days later — without considering that I had lost access during the gap.
Credits that go unused due to suspension should roll over, and billing cycles should adjust when payments are delayed. It's not fair to charge a full month when the service was inaccessible for part of it.
That said, the support team (Eva and Jason) were responsive and processed a refund as a one-time exception, which I appreciate.
Overall: great product, but the billing policy needs to be more customer-friendly.
