This happened many years from now

This happened many years from now. So the date is incorrect. I hope their policy have been much better.
I bought a GPS for my car. At that time I lived for some month in Spain. I bought it for aprox €330,-
I could not a word spanish. One day I got a e-mail on spanish that I did not understand. A couple of weeks later the same. I asked a neigbor what it ment, and I was told I hade to pay customs duties. I contacted the post office , but they had already returned it to sender. I contacted high-tech-discount.fr, severaltimes, but they were unwillingly to pay my money back. Freud ?
