I simply can’t accept that anyone honestly thinks this is worth the money… to dry your clothes! These reviews leave me scratching my head. The idea is great in principle but the product is like an amateurish, cheap prototype that needs a LOT of enhancing. Especially for the extortionate price. And by that I mean it is unreasonably overpriced. For that you would expect far less to do in terms of putting it together but you literally have to build the thing from scratch, and it’s not simple on your own or if you’re not the best with flat pack assembling. Nuts screws, bars strings casters, LOADS.
It feels flimsy as someone else said and it is, worst of all within a few uses, my folding mechanism started to get stuck and now has completely broken. I’m just left with what seems like, a bunch of metal bars and strings which I have to just chuck my clothes over. After the good weather is over, sadly, it’s going in the tip and I’ll go back to a rotary drier.
I hope High and Dry work on this product because it is nowhere near ready for retail at this price. And even when it is, they need to massively revise the cost because I could have bought a new tumble drier for that price.
It needs to be a whole lot sturdier and prettier to justify £250. Should include a cover as a bare minimum and considering the whole thing is self assembly and in my case, got a handyman to put it together, I’ve wasted more money this summer on a bunch of metal to dry my clothes than on clothes to actually wear.
“Anything else is just a washing line” is the most inane selling point. Two posts in your garden and a retractable line are not worse than having to look at this cumbersome eyesore leaned up against your fence. And now I actually use my brain and think about it… what IS so wrong with a washing line??

Very happy with my clothes line . Can be used on the patio or wheeled in the garden . Easy to move and for drying clothes . Who knows maybe in winter it wil find its way indoors ? 🤣

It's a great product in theory. Once you've assembled it (it takes a lot longer than an hour!) and it's up, it hold a lot of washing and being able to move it around is really handy. However once I collapsed it, it took myself and my husband and it strapped to a pole to get it back up again as it bends in the middle. The moving parts to allow it to fold are made of plastic and are very flimsy so I have a washing line I can't collapse.

Delivery of the item was appalling. It was sent to the wrong address, I only received the item as the person who the item was sent to; looked at the address and found me. When I collected the item from the address delivered to the box was badly damaged. All contents was fine though.

Kit arrived as a box of parts but the instructions were clear and easy to follow.

This company is fantastic for customer service gold star for excellence . My original order arrived with the box having been opened and things missing however an email to the company got everything sorted within 4 days my missing parts arrived and the company sorted it with the delivery company. Swift despatch and arrived securely packaged. Construction was a little more time consuming than instructions suggest. Stringing the washing line took a few goes but finished line is a good size and feels sturdy.

The movable line I bought is a good product but for the boxed steel used, I think its too weak and easily bends which isn't great for a product that's on wheel casters. It's far too dear for that kind of boxed steel. But on a good note, I had a part missing and when I contacted them about this they apologised and the part was with me the next day so great customer service.

I’m delighted with my clothes line it helps when my other clothes line is full I can do more washing there are six adults in my home so there’s always lots of washing I like that it’s on wheeles so when it rains I can push it into my garage

I just love this clothesline. Best thing ever. I bought two one for my daughter. They re brilliant as you can move them anywhere. I need to send one to Australia to my other daughter now

My best purchase this year! Can follow the sun around the garden to maximise drying time. Huge reduction in energy costs - tumble dryer largely redundant (although winter months ahead!).
