Terrible quality. Black velvet dust covered hangers and shipping boxes.
Terrible communication and customer service. Debbie (Vice President of Customer Experience) was completely ineffective.
Ordered 400 hangers that were all heavily coated with a fine, black velvet dust. Not just a little, but a ton. Completely unusable. Could not even take them out of the shipping box for fear of the fine black dust falling onto floors, carpet or vanities.
Final Resolution: American Express stopped payment to Higher Hangers, I threw all the hangers in the trash and I never heard back from Debbie or anyone else at Higher Hangers.

Horrible communication, horrible quality, a good amount of the hangers came broken, and most of the others continue to break within weeks of purchase. Now I'm left with a very few when the purchase was just a few months ago, and communication with Debbie Cartagena, which is apparently working as VP of costumer service is radically poor. I will continue with my dispute, and will file a complain with the better business bureau in the meantime. I will update here with the resolution.

Higher hangers is a great idea and I was looking forward to getting them. They would really help in RVs, where wardrobe space is limited and poorly designed.
They only sell them in packs of 50 which is more than I need and fairly expensive. They also seem to be out of anything but ‘velvet covered’ for quite a while now. I put off ordering for quite a while hoping to find a smaller amount. No luck. I went ahead and ordered a pack (Velvet) (also found someone with whom to split them). (I did see they have the ‘slimline’ available again)
I followed the tracking, and UPS updates said incorrect address and no ‘apt’ number. Now I had put in the RV park name and lot # (UPS does deliver to the lots). UPS found a nearby address, which is the owner of the park and delivered there a few days late. The original label was on the package, no lot number. So Higher Hangers does not pay attention to what is entered. It was correct on my emailed receipt. They are also hard to get hold of and no phone number listed. So by the time I received a reply, which was wait a while', they had been delivered to the wrong address.
The ‘velvet covered’ hangers themselves are so-so. It is totally ‘velvet covered’ and makes it difficult to get the blouse etc in the proper placement on the hangers. As I was finishing exchanging the hangers in my closet I noticed the hangers also shed and I had a lot of black ‘dust’ on my fingers. I am guessing that will also come off on my clothes. Poor designing.
I ordered 17”, a tight fit for my wardrobe, but the hangers are slightly over 17”. Measurements are important and they should be a little more exact.

I still like the idea. I moved my hanger rod as close to the ceiling as the hangers would allow.
Smaller amounts and mixed packs would be a great idea.
Also, maybe an 'RV' pack; 16" would be great and smaller numbers.
