Highlands Centre for Healing (HCFH) is a private, off-grid, wellness retreat and sanctuary in the beautiful NSW Southern Highlands. Dedicated to deep rest, nervous system regulation, healing and authentic reconnection, it offers safety and coherence. Set on 106 acres of paddocks, ancient trees, and wildlife, the land itself is part of the healing. This is not a retreat centre built for busyness — it is a space designed for slowing down, softening, and remembering who you are beneath the noise. At the heart of HCFH is Healing With Soo – two intuitive, somatic and energy-based experiences: Somatic Energy Healing with Soo and the Herd, and Reiki With The Herd These sessions are not about fixing or forcing change, but about creating insight and release through connection with body, horses, and nature. We offer cosy self-catering accommodation for 1–4 guests, personalised healing sessions, design-your-own retreats, and small, immersive workshops. HCFH is a place to pause. To breathe deeply. To regulate, reset, and gently transform — supported by land, horses, and conscious presence.

Mindlessness session with horses - incredible experience

I can't thank Soo, her helpers and her herd enough - this was a truly magical and humbling experience. I have never seen horses behave like this, or felt such an incredible sense of love and connection coming from them - words just can't do this justice. Absolutely wonderful to be able to share the afternoon with Soo and the herd, and learn so much more about these incredible animals. Thank you!
