Very useful and recommended

Very useful and rich content. I got a first author publication from the course!

If you work hard enough, you might be able to publish SR/MA too. You will get very good guidance from colleagues

I do recommend that candidates read good number of SR/MAs to familiarise themselves with the topic.

SRMA Cohort 5 Conception to Submission

This course helped me understand each step in conducting a systematic review and meta-analysis successfully and eliminate the doubts and misconceptions I previously had. The tutors were interactive in each session, cleared doubts, and provided constructive feedback on the tasks/assignments. I was fortunate to be a part of the team conducting a review; it was a great opportunity to apply what I had learnt in the course for this project. Currently, it is awaiting publication which would have not been possible without the course.

SRMA + interview courses

I have used this company for both interview prep and for the SRMA course. The content of both of these was extremely useful and helped to clarify the process of both interview and SRMA. I enjoyed great success at interview, and I am awaiting publication of my SRMA, which I would have been unable to do without the course and guidance of tutors. I would say that the courses are expensive, but worth it if you can afford it.

From Masterclass to Publication Acceptance

My experience in the SRMA Masterclass led by Dr Ankur was nothing short of remarkable. Under Dr Ankur's expert guidance, I gained a deep understanding of SRMA methodology, equipping me with the necessary skills to undertake a research project. Working alongside Dr Hatan, our collaborative efforts resulted in the acceptance of our systematic review for publication in a prestigious journal. The comprehensive training provided by the course, combined with the invaluable support and expertise of Dr Ankur and Dr Hatan, paved the way for this achievement. I am incredibly grateful for the transformative learning experience.

A Stellar Experience

I recently had the incredible opportunity to work with HighYieldUK to learn the art of conducting systematic reviews, and I must say that it has been an enriching and transformative experience. With their expert guidance and support, I was able to publish a paper this year, and the knowledge I gained throughout the process has been invaluable.

Ankur the mentor demonstrated a deep understanding of systematic review methodology and a passion for helping aspiring researchers like myself. Their comprehensive training program offered a perfect balance of theoretical knowledge and practical application, allowing me to grasp the intricacies of the process while gaining hands-on experience.

Additionally, the support provided by HighYield throughout the training was exemplary. Their prompt responses to queries and willingness to address any concerns ensured that we never felt alone during the process. They fostered a collaborative and inclusive learning environment, encouraging participants to exchange ideas and share insights.

The skills and knowledge I acquired during my time with HighYield have extended far beyond the publication of our paper. The training has equipped me with a solid foundation in evidence synthesis, critical appraisal, and data analysis, which will undoubtedly benefit my future research endeavors. Moreover, it has instilled in me a newfound confidence to navigate the intricate landscape of systematic reviews independently.

Coaching for interview …

I took mentorship classes for speciality training interview with Ankur. It has been extremely useful. He provided me unique structures and taught me to how to sound as a stronger candidate. We worked on my weaknesses and he provided me effective feedbacks. I got a post where I aimed for eventually. Thank you Dr Khajuria and his team.

A great course for systematic reviews

This course provided a detailed introduction on how to conduct a systematic review. Ankur gave students a topic to work towards in their own time and supervised myself and a colleague with a systematic review project. This resulted in an international presentation at the Plastic Surgery Conference in Boston as well as a first author publication in the PRS journal. This has helped me immensely in working towards a career in surgery. Overall, would highly recommend this course to those who wish to excel in research and advance their careers.

Overall waste of money, credibility concerns

Course is structured well but skims through sections. Not many examples provided unfortunately. It feels like Ankur doest care about his students, his just doing it as a money grab. He skims thorough the content and then keeps saying the students who get the most out are ones who do complete the homework each week, how can beginners get the work done when you have breezed through it. Concerning credibility on how many students have gotten a systematic review published from this.

Hi AL, thank you for your review, however we are concerned regarding the authenticity and motive of this review:

1. Firstly, only initials of the name “AL” are provided. Having checked our customer list, we are unable to identify someone with those initials.

2. Secondly, we have also checked the private Facebook groups where we carry out post session homework exercises/respond to delegate queries about any lecture content, and, once again, we are unable to identify someone with those initials.

3. Thirdly, we are not sure which sections you are referring to which you say were skimmed. The course is run over a 5-week period, with live lectures and break out sessions, covering all aspects and stages of conducting a robust systematic review and meta-analysis, delivered by our high quality faculty, including Dr Khajuria (Associate Editor of Systematic Reviews Journal and Oxford Kellogg Scholar) as well our accomplished mentors from Imperial College London and Mayo Clinic, USA. After each lecture, we had breakout sessions where the mentors addressed any queries/concerns in a smaller group setting, providing examples and insights. All candidates also got the entire video recording of the sessions after each session (total ~10 hours of content), other paper resources and had a week to consolidate their understanding, work through the homework tasks (e.g. constructing a search strategy, carrying out GRADE quality assessment, carrying out risk of bias assessments etc), and ask any questions to the faculty. The concerns that have been written in this review have not been mentioned during the live/breakout sessions or via our private Facebook group or email.

4) Fourthly, you have not engaged with the homework exercises in the private Facebook groups (as we are unable to find a name in them with your initials and those that have engaged, have left replies to which our mentors have responded with their feedback). Engagement in the homework tasks is so important (as Dr Khajuria emphasised in the first session) to consolidate the understanding, have example papers to carry out quality and risk of bias assessments, with critical feedback from mentors, and also have any queries addressed by the mentors. Our delegates who have engaged with the homework tasks have gotten great feedback on their work from our mentors and is one of the areas that the students have commended about the course (please see other reviews on our Trustpilot page). The facebook group (along with our email) is also an opportunity to flag up any issues, but again, no such concerns, that have been written in this review, have been mentioned either via email or on the Facebook group.

5) Fifthly, some very personal, subjective and derogatory phrases are used in the review, not directly pertaining to either product or service, such as “it feels like Ankur doest care about his students, his just doing it as a money grab” which once again, makes us question the authenticity of this review, and of the person writing it and their motive.

6) Finally, our students who work hard go on to publish, and we are pleased just in the last few weeks alone, we have had students publish in the highest ranked (impact factor) journal in their topic specialty, who also gave an oral presentation at a prestigious meeting in the USA, had their abstract accepted in the Top 100, and also had the abstract published in a journal. They are very grateful to the programme like many of our other delegates (please see other 5* reviews on our page), and their achievements will also help them greatly in speciality/residency interviews.

All in all, we have concerns regarding the authenticity and motive of this review. We, nevertheless, wish you all the best in your future endeavours.
