Excellent deal completed of my shares. Good communication . Easy to use platform

Hiive has been a great partner for finding opportunities in private companies. They are great with communication and timely in processing purchase and sale transactions with seamless processes. I would definitely recommend them.

I have been working with the Hiive team for approximately 18 months and completed 10+ transactions as of now. The team, Gavin, Thea, Nathan, etc. have always been awesome.

Hiive does not have form control on fund managers. Their contracts seem to be filled with holes that allow for fraudulent activity. I had purchased shares of a company and within 4 months, Hiive decided to liquidate these shares due to shady activity from the funds manager. It was a 30% loss for me with no say in the outcome and with zero information as to why they moved forward to liquidate. Overall an awful experience and I would not recommend Hiive to anyone as they have agreements with these fund managers that allows the em to engage in this suspect activity with zero accountability and at Hiives customers loss.

I've now purchased two lots of private shares through Hiive, and the people there are hands-on when needed and always super friendly and helpful. They keep the process moving and keep it simple, which are two key prongs for any smooth transaction.

This website fails to verify identity 100% of the time, I've tried every form of ID, they try to process images and clearly don't have the expertise to do so. 100% image verification fail regardless if you use drivers license, passport etc. Totally amateurs website, don't sell any of your shares with them, not that you could anyways. good luck getting through their spaghetti code of a front end that can't process simple images

It was my first time to sell private stock anywhere. Hiive staff were awesome and very communicative. I even had a virtual meeting (they reached out to me after I left my last company) to explain the process, and how it works to sell. I had a successful sale transaction. I will definitely use Hiive in the future for selling or purchasing any private stock.

My bid was "successfully placed" according to the email I received. 5 days later, I was notified that I had missed the funding deadline. Evidently, that's much earlier than the "funding deadline" on the Activity page.

This is the second time my bid was accepted & fell through. The last time, I actually wired the funds & they were later returned.

Each time, I transferred money from one account to another, with tax consequences.

I was able to sell pre IPO shares in a former employer quickly and easily via Hiive. The long and short of it is that you can set your price and allow for bids, then decide what deal you would like to make. They work with both fully exercised and unexercised shares. I have other holdings that I would consider selling via Hiive when the time is right. If you have unrealized gains, you should give Hiive a shot. Their customer care team is fantastic and keeps you well informed every step of the way.

They have a lower minimum threshold compared to other private trading sites and yet they were still able to be accommodating if you didn't meet it. The transparency and communication during the facilitation of my transaction was excellent. The fees were small and site was easy to navigate

My experience with Hiive was excellent from sign up, to any questions I had on selling of shares. The team I was working with had very prompt responses, and also when I ran into an issue, Olivia gave me a call and was able to help me find a resolution in less than an hour.
10/10 experience and will definitely use Hiive again for any future opportunities.

Hiive is an easy platform to use to list and sell shares on a secondary market. But the reason for 5 stars was the help I received from Olivia -- she was patient and clear about next steps regarding the offer and all the ensuing paper work. Great experience.

My experience with Hiive has been fantastic. I had been looking for a way to sell pre-IPO shares for a while, and Hiive was by far the easiest to work with, the most transparent with the current state of the market, and my deal was executed smoothly with fair transaction costs. I would gladly work with them again in the future and hope to get the opportunity to do so.
