Nothing but a scam - buyer beware
The shoes I received from China did not fit. I have tried to get a refund but no realistic option has been provided. I was offered a new pair in a larger size for an additional $30 odd dollars. From the day you receive the shoes you have 30 days to get a refund - they drag out the process for weeks and then provide a form andxrequire you to ship them to China at your cost. If they receivecthem in the 30 day window you can get a refund. In my case there is no way the shoes would make itvto China in that window. They are running a scam and the shoes are plastic pieces of crap. Buyer Beware

Do not buy
Do not buy. The most uncomfortable show I have ever tried on. The size runs quite a bit smaller than true fit. I tried returning even though they say 30 day money back guarantee, I am suppose to take a picture of the shoes and the packaging it came in before they decide if I can return them.

DO NOT BUY HIKE BALANCE SHOES
DO NOT BUY HIKE BALANCE SHOES. The ads are great. They state 30 day return policy. The shoes are worthless garbage. The construction is flimsy. The shoes are way too narrow. No toe box room for wider feet. Buyer Beware: Read the return policy at the bottom of the home page.
Returns are accepted within 30 days of the delivery date.
To qualify, items must be:
- Unused, unworn, and in original condition
- Returned in original packaging
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (e.g., order number or confirmation email)
How are you to determine proper fit without using the damn shoes?
I've exchanged 10 emails, including requested pictures, with Support, Emma, Bjorn and Jamie at Hike Balance. An absolute waste of time and money. DO NOT BUY HIKE BALANCE SHOES!

These are like toy shoes
These are like toy shoes, not fit for real people. Thin soles, so thin you feel every stone you step on. Narrow toe box like a high heel toe box. Wore them once and threw them in the trash due to the seeming impossibility of returning them ( see other reviews)

I was to receive a second pair for free…
I was to receive a second pair for free with the purchase of one pair. The second pair was the wrong size, too big It is 3 months later and I still haven't receive the second pair, the right size. I have emailed several times and Amber says I will get back with you I am not holding my breath. Horrible!!!!!! customer service. I can get shoes just as good elsewhere.

Beware of return policy
I really liked these shoes. I ordered two pairs in the size I usually wear. Both pairs were somewhat tight but one pair was definitely more narrow than the other. Even though I wore both pairs to try to and break them in, Hike Balance agreed to their 30 day return policy. But, they needed to be returned to China even though they were shipped to me (I live in CA) from Commerce, CA. It’s not worth the expense. I was willing to purchase a larger pair because I liked them so much. Not now.

If You Need to Return Them, Beware
I am furious at Hike Balance. Before I bought their shoes, I checked the address of the company: 8 The Green STE D , Dover, Delaware, 19901, United States.
When I received the shoes, they were much too small. I immediately called their number, but it was disconnected. I called twice to make sure. I figured they’d gone out of business.
So I tried emailing that I wanted to return them—and they finally replied that for only $32.50, I could get them in a bigger, correct size. Never mind that the quality of the shoes was poor.
When I said no, I just wanted to return the shoes for a refund, I was told to take pictures of them as well as the packaging. So okay, I spent time doing that and emailed photos to them.
I was then granted a form to fill out, with only a first name ("John") and an address for their return—in Jinhua, China! When I took the carefully wrapped package to the post office, the quoted cost from Seattle was $32.00! And there’s more!!! Because the form required that I send the return with a label on it “with a track & trace code”, the cost shot up to $66.00! The shoes cost $60.00!
Shop around and use another company.
This is a week later. Because of my review here, they can refund 15% of the 59.95 purchase price. That's only $9. Scumbags.

The shoes are too small in length and width. According to my foot measurements and their size chart there should be plenty of room.
I am e-mailing with the fourth person about my shoes size being too small. Everyone has asked different questions and then just stop communicating. Guess they’re running the clock so they can say I’m too late to return.

Scam
Rec's on 9/4/25. Unhappy with the way they felt - cheap and uncomfortable, so I contacted them immediately. After a few days I received an email back apologizing and then offering me the "opportunity" to spend an additional $35 to get another style of shoe. The email made it sound like that is the only way I will be able to return them. I emailed back and thanked them for their "offer" but reiterated my desire to send them back. Next email was to ask for pictures so they could determine the condition. They were perfect, never worn but I sent the pictures. That was about 3 days ago and again - nothing. I believe they are trying to run out the clock so they do not have to refund me. Well I am writing the BBB and reporting this company. I see I am not the only unhappy customer here.

Absolute junk
Absolute junk! Thin soled, no support. Cheap material and the worst...they are really hot due to so much plastic. DO NOT BUY!

ABSOLUTE JUNK
I didn't even want to give them 1 star. These shoes are ABSOLUTEL JUNK. They arrived on Saturday and I put them in the donation bin on Monday. I would have returned them but you cannot wear them and you must have the original plastic bag they came in and you must pay return shipping. I feel bad that some homeless person is going to have to wear them because they need shoes and won't have a choice. This company is a scam !! DO NOT buy anything. They should be ashamed of themselves.

BEWARE
BEWARE! I followed the sizing instructions according to the site. They advertise a wide toe box, NOT true. They have no support inside the shoe with out purchasing inserts. The inserts they sent were 3 sizes bigger than my shoes they sent. I tried wearing them to see how they felt, I couldn't even wear them for a whole day! My big toe rubbed the side due to a narrow shoe base. I asked for a refund, they had me send pictures to see condition of the shoe, I sent them. In return I got a letter saying they would refund my money only after sending the shoes back to CHINA. That cost more than the shoes! DON'T waste your money, I wish I would have read more reviews, the real reviews came out after I purchased them!

Second Minus 1 Star Review
You know how the Trustpilot site says they respond to 88% of negative reviews? Another untruth. They responded to mine, said to email them and reference the review and my order. I did, got an auto response then crickets per usual.

If I could give 0 stars or negative…
If I could give 0 stars or negative numbers, that would be better. Shoes received, removed from packaging. Pair #1 (mine)-arch support was terrible, looked and felt like cheap plastic and were not comfortable. Pair #2 (husband's) too small and not comfortable. Shoes put back into packaging ans request for refund sent. Received email in return that they'd offer us "another Pair of Shoes at half price.! And of course, we wouldn't have to return the others!" I declined - why in the hell do i want to keep Shoes that don't fit? - they responded they need photos of Shoes & packaging, once received they would let me know if a refund would be approved. I sent my first request with photos on September 8. No response. I have sent 2 more and crickets. I'm beginning to feel that I've been scammed. Their return policy states that items need to be returned within 30 days of delivery. I've done my part, now they need to do theirs.

The shoes are not true to size
The shoes are not true to size, they run small. I am in the process of returning them after having to send photos of the shoes to make sure they weren't damaged or worn AND I have to pay the cost to return them to CHINA. What a terrible way to run a business. Do not buy from this company!!

I ordered a pair of shoes, buyer beware
I ordered a pair of shoes. They came in three weeks and didn’t fit. When I tried to return them, I couldn’t call them because the customer service number didn’t work and the response through the Customerservice email was poor at Best. I’m still in the process of trying to return my shoes that didn’t fit. They offered me the option of keeping the shoes that I had and charged me $32-$39 for a new pair of shoes the correct size. I declined that offer and wanted my money back.I’ve contacted them via email numerous times and all they can do is give me a ticket number. I’m very dissatisfied. I will get my money back hopefully. And I will never buy shoes from this group again buyer beware.
AS of 9/16, they have reviewed my return order request and approved it. Now I'm told I have to return it at my expense to Zhejiang, China.
TO say I am disappointed with this experience is an understatement. Lesson learned...

I’ve been trying to get a response…
I’ve been trying to get a response regarding returning the shoes that do not fit that I spent over $100 on and so far I have gotten no where… DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!
Update!!! I did end up getting a response BUT then it turned out it was my responsibility to pay for the return to CHINA and that would cost OVER the $100 I spent on the shoes that do not work! Soooo upsetting. Again, DO NOT spend your hard earned money here!
