Facilities remain open and playable
We explained you cancelling 48 hours impacts the income for the school and you transferring this money results in lost income

We have plenty of hydration stations and even offered to resell the slot which you didn't come back to us on.

Just because you didnt get your way in line with out policy has made you bitter.

We cant please everyone.

We wont be crediting your account and have now cancelled your slot as per your request

Such a sore customer - we didnt agree a price you didnt get the price you wanted and then threw a strop when it changed. Be truthful with what happened. You wanted 1 7aside for 7 hours then let us know you wanted 3 * 5asides and expected to a) get a discount and b_ be charged the 7aside.

My goodness you really have done your research. We are so pleased to have another fan. Dragons den tax avoidance in public light and yet all companies are standing and have expanded. Its unforutnately the small minded populus like yourself that like to focus on the past and issues (which now are corrected) to bring solid entrepreneurs down. I assume you dont have your own business?
Now on to the actual matter at hand (without personal attacks) you had a booking 2 hours before and were cancelled, this is naturally unacceptable but could you provide more details on the date and time this happened and we are happy to compensate you with a free booking if this claim is genuine. We are not here to alienate any users no matter their dislike to our MD. Everyone is treated equally and respectfully so if this did not happen with you we will have to correct it

With the greatest respect, we do not differentiate or discriminate against any individual or group. We work with over 200 venues across the UK, many of which host women’s teams, mixed teams, and LGBTQ+ leagues. In fact, one of the largest leagues we currently support — an LGBTQ+ league operated by Coats & Goalposts in Haggerston — has been given priority over a men’s league at that venue. For that reason, we would appreciate that the facts are accurately represented before conclusions are drawn publicly.

We fully acknowledge that more could potentially have been done on the day regarding the handling of the incident during your cup fixture, and we accept that the site security presence could have been better managed. However, we strongly disagree with the suggestion that the actions of site security were motivated by issues relating to the LGBTQ+ community.

Many of the comments and one-star reviews connected to this matter repeat similar claims, but we do not believe they reflect the experience of the vast majority of our customers, partners, and venue providers. Titans have booked with us regularly, and this is the first incident of this nature reported in approximately nine months of activity. If this were a recurring issue, we would of course take immediate action, but we are not aware of any repeated concerns.

Ultimately, the situation has been frustrating for everyone involved, and we regret that the experience led to disappointment. We remain committed to treating every customer equally, regardless of race, gender, sexuality, or background, and we hope that, in time, your confidence in HireAPitch can be restored.

Your really enjoying exaggerting the facts here


For clarity, the facts as we understand them are as follows:

It has been alleged that the Titans game was being interrupted by males on the sidelines.
It has also been alleged that these individuals were the aggressors and used homophobic slurs. At present, these claims have not been substantiated with evidence.
Our staff member arrived after a scuffle had already begun and observed what appeared to be Titans participants acting aggressively, including physical contact involving a minor, which is a serious matter in itself.

Without access to CCTV footage — which we do not control — we are unable to conclusively determine exactly what occurred. As a result, the most responsible action available to us at the time was to apologise for the incident and acknowledge the concerns raised.

It is also important to note that the venue is a large site. Titans have direct access to our phone number, email address, and live chat support. None of these channels were used at the time of the incident. Had any immediate contact been made, the two additional members of staff at reception, alongside the staff member already present, would have responded immediately.

We are concerned that this matter is being framed primarily as an LGBTQ+ issue when, based on the information currently available, it appears to relate more broadly to disruptive behaviour and safety concerns involving young males attempting to interfere with a game. There is no evidence to suggest the disturbance occurred specifically because it was an LGBTQ+ fixture. We therefore strongly reject any attempt to misrepresent the situation for publicity purposes.

Hire a Pitch would also like to make absolutely clear that we do not tolerate or condone discrimination of any kind, including homophobia or discrimination against the LGBTQ+ community. We are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all players, teams, and visitors using our facilities.

In fact, Titans have been valued customers of ours for many years, which makes the decision to escalate this matter to the press particularly disappointing.

We strongly reject any suggestion that Hire a Pitch is indifferent to the safety, inclusion, or wellbeing of LGBTQ+ players and teams. Equality, respect, and accessibility are values we take seriously, and we remain fully committed to ensuring all individuals feel welcome at our venues.

Thanks for your comments
1. You chose to ignore us when we replied asking was this the refunded transaction. All you had to do was say thats not the one and we would have refunded. BUT YOU CHOSE to ignore us.
2. We accepted the bank dispute we could have easily made the process longer
3. If we didnt want women's teams to play with us we wouldn't have offered additional compensation. So once again your comments don't add up.

You keep making this a woman's vs hireapitch topic. Its never about that. Its clearly an admin fault and you werent the only customer cancelled. Spreading a false narrative.
