Bought this alarm in 2022 to comply with Scottish Government law requiring interconnected smoke alarm system. It was very easy to install and set up and was no problem until the battery failed on one of the units. The battery is sealed in and therefore cannot be replaced and should have lasted for 10 years, which clearly it hasn't. Date of manufacture on the unit was 15/11/21. To me it suggests a poor quality product; if they're skimping on battery quality, what else are the cost cutting in their units?

Had these installed in 2021 had the unfortunate luck of having an oven fire and the heat and smoke alarm didn't detect this. Very poor result from a product that is meant to keep you safe.
Would never recommend this product if you want peace of mind

We spoke to Scott at a Trade show last week. He has an excellent knowledge of all the Hispec products and was extremely helpful.
He sent us out some Optical some alarms and Heat alarms to eeplace the ones in our property which had expired.
These arrived the next day and I've just fitted them. Very simple to fit and good clear instructions. They were a different fitmet to our old ones but they have many different fixing points so it made the job easy.
Good quality products easy to install. The quality and finish is excellent. Comes with a 5 year Guarantee and 10 year battery life.
Highly recommend HiSpec for their 5 star service and information. Lots of other products on the website and we will definitely be using them again.

Absolutely delighted with the customer service from Will at Hispec. I purchased a set of three smoke alarms via eBay two of which developed battery issues much earlier than expected. After a series of emails quickly answered Will arranged replacements. Wholeheartedly recommend Hispec and would not hesitate to buy any of their products in the future.

I've just replaced all of our smoke and heat alarms with units made by Hispec.

We previously ran a B&B in our home and had a mains radio link system made by another UK alarm company it was good but once all of the units had reached their 10 year lifespan the replacement cost was absolutely eye watering!

We no longer needed mains alarms and settled on Hispec interconnected 10 year lithium battery alarms from their Pro range. They were simple to pair with one another, everything worked first time. They also seem well designed with the end user in mind and smaller and more compact than our previous alarms. The pricing was rather more sensible too.

So far I am delighted with my purchase.

What a fantastic company.
I have had the alarms for a while and must say hassle free and compact. The backing or ceiling connecting was misplaced and they very kindly helped me out. You know this kind of loyalty to a customer makes you always want to buy from them

Bought the whole 6 unit kit of smoke & heat & CO detectors, and they do not communicate with each other properly, plus the set up product leaflets are different from the online youtube video. The lack of other reviews of this company and product are rather suspicious. Returned via Amazon/ B&Q, and will not recommend

One of my smoke alarms was faulty. I contacted the manufacturer, Hispec to find out what to do as the unit was still under warranty.
They immediately replied and arranged to send one out in the post, foc .
I received it the next day, have installed it and its working perfectly.
