This is the second time I have booked the Roman workshop, this time we had Rob deliver it. He was absolutely fantastic, had the children engaged all day (it was the second last day before Christmas so a difficult task!) and was incredibly knowledgeable. The children loved all the activities, from fighting like soldiers to playing Roman board games. I would definitely recommend and will be booking again.

Rob's Viking workshop was excellent - children were highly engaged in the whole day and there was a great range of well thought out activities including the change to take part in a Viking shield wall. Rob himself is a wealth of information about this period and his passion for history really shines through. Thank you for helping us to create great memories for our pupils.

The quality of support, artefacts and immersion for our children was amazing! David was brilliant! The children loved each workshop and were so excited and eager to learn about each thing! The giant mammoths tooth was a jaw dropping moment for everyone! 🤣

Our children had a brilliant Ancient Greece workshop. Rob, who led the workshop, was very informative and engaged the children in all aspects of the workshop. It was a fantastic way to experience life in Ancient Greece and the feedback from the children was all positive.

This was a brilliant day which the children thoroughly enjoyed. From the very start they were totally engaged and they will remember the day for a long time. There was a lovely mix of activities and they particularly enjoyed cave paintings on real stone, making arrows with proper flint arrowheads and shooting various cardboard creatures in the archery session.

Jess was amazing! Everything was very well-organised and gave the pupils a lovely range of learning experiences through the activities. Pupils loved the battle formation session, in particular. Greek writing and game-playing were also very popular. Jess herself was so enthusiastic that this rubbed off on the pupils.

We had a fantastic Stone Age workshop with Gareth. All of the activities were engaging, purposeful and thoroughly enjoyed by the children.

Fantastic day run by Jess for our Year 3’s! They learnt so much about the Stone Age and experience a fun filled, educational day. Would highly recommend and am hoping to rebook for next year and other topics within our school. Thank you!

Jess visited our school full of enthusiasm and energy and loads of knowledge to pass on to the children. She related so well to them. They had a wonderful day learning about the stone age.

Gareth visited our year 3 class yesterday and delivered a Stone Age workshop. The content was perfect for the children and was a perfect end to our term’s topic. He began the workshop in role as somebody from the Stone Age and the children were captivated.

Our year 3 class have had a fantastic Stone Age day today. Jess was so informative, entertaining and made a very busy day run smoothly. The children loved the experience and I'd highly recommend as historic workshops

What an amazing day!

The workshop leader Jess was so incredible. She really brought the Stone Age to life for our kids. She was knowledgeable and clearly passionate about history. She was so helpful to our staff too and this made the day run very smoothly. Jess even came by our school's history club at the end of the day. A real treat for them!

The workshops throughout the day were well thought out and engaging for all our children. It helped to reenforce the learning we had been doing in class. The children loved the archery and handling the objects.

This week, our cohort of Year 2 children took part in this exciting workshop all about the Great Fire of London, and it enjoyed by all children of all abilities. The workshop was fun, interactive, and easy to understand and follow over three classes.

One of the best parts was the hands-on activities. We examined objects from the period, created pomanders (scented bags) and fire marks from clay.

The workshop leader was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, answering all our questions and encouraging us to think about why the fire spread so fast and what changes were made afterward.

Overall, the workshop was engaging, informative, and great fun. It helped us understand the Great Fire of London in a memorable way, and I would highly recommend it to any school learning about this fascinating part of history.

Gareth, the Roman workshop lead, was great. Incredibly knowledgeable and engaging for the children. We have booked the Roman workshop twice and both times with Gareth (Cassius) have been a success.

The children absolutely loved all of the different experiences of the day. There was great variety of activities during the session and the session leader was knowledgeable and engaging.

Ticked all the boxes for the children's learning; all the pupils were engaged for the whole day. Will be booking again for 2026.
