WARNING! H&M Lyocell + store in Stockholm

WARNING!!! Do not purchase HM's clothing with LYOCELL material: I just bought pants in a cotton-Lyocell mix for full price (399 SEK) and went home and washed them. They came out with ugly darker stains (from the dye). The staff in the store (Ringen at Skanstull in Stockholm) claimed it was because I had centrifuged on a too high speed, though I used the absolute lowest. They explained that if you centrifuge on high speed, LYOCELL can create all kinds of issues. The store manager refused to repay me and they blamed it on me. There is no warning labels on this (on washing machines you can program whatever centrifuge speed you want even if you use the recommended washing program). So please do not buy any of their clothes made with LYOCELL! After the manager refused to reimburse me, she wished me a "nice day" 😂. It was not only such a fake gesture but totally tone deaf. Please, H&M, train your staff that when they blame the customer, and refuse to reimburse this kind of low quality clothing, to not put on a fake smile and wish the abused customer "a nice day". It's adding insult to injury. On top of that they lied to me and claimed I could write a review online, which turns out to be false. Since I bought the pants in their physical store, their customer service just informed me that I cannot leave a review. Reviews are only for online customers. That's why I am forced to leave it here and elsewhere, to help other customers save their money. AVOID H&M's LYOCELL CLOTHING and the H&M STORE in RINGEN, SKANSTULL in STOCKHOLM!

Not impressed with Norwich store service

I love the clothes when I do shop here, but wasn't happy with service in Norwich store today. I've taken in lots of recycling before, usually can just drop the bags off. A few months ago the assistant asked to scan my app but it wouldn't work - this was just for vouchers and so they gave me paper ones instead. However, I'm not that bothered about vouchers and today was told I HAD to have the phone app scanned otherwise they could not accept my recycling! I told the girl I don't have the app on my phone as it rarely works in store (poor internet). I told her I didn't want vouchers if this was why they wanted to scan my phone. She said she'd check with a manager... answer was still no! So I was stuck with a large bag which I couldn't carry about the city. I was on my way to an appointment and had to waste about 10 mins outside the store trying to get internet to download the app and login... when I did and went back in to the shop the reason for scanning the app was? To give me a voucher!! Which I'd said I didn't want! Will recycle elsewhere in future, somewhere I don't need an app to do it.

Misleading website

Was torn between two different linen trousers - a "premium selection" relaxed fit at £24.99, and a very similar product regular fit on sale at £12. Decided to go for the former. I then found the latter in store for £11 so thought I would buy and compare both when the others arrived.
The pair I ordered online took an age to arrive because it seems their logistics are is so poor it never registered it had arrived and I had to speak to customer service online who told me they had indeed been delivered to store (why that wasn't communicated is beyond me).
Collected the £24.99 trousers I ordered online, got them home, exactly the same as the "other" £11 trousers I bought in store. No, not similar - the same, the style number on the tag matches. Cheats. Will be reporting to trading standards.

Ordered some wide sweatpants recently…

Ordered some wide sweatpants recently via the H&M App, was sent the wrong colour! This was not the first time I ordered something via the App only to be sent the wrong item. Only options were to return them via a store or by post. Rang H&M customer services expressing my disappointment, the adviser was very apologetic and went to check to see if they could send me the correct item only to confirm that the sweatpants had sold out! I told them that I would not be using their App or online services again. Adviser offered a 15% discount voucher off my next purchase which I later found out could only be redeemed online! Ideally the voucher should also be redeemable at a store as I could not trust their website or App. Whoever they have staffed in the warehouses seem ok with sending the wrong item if ordered online. No checks or accountability. Went to a H&M store to return the item only to be told that they could not accept returns of purchases made online! Store Adviser was so reluctant to refund me saying the adviser on the phone should not have said that refunds for online goods could be given in stores. Store adviser even went as far as getting the store manager to authorise the refund (which all it entailed was ‘Yes refund the customer’). HM review your returns & refund policy and train your advisers so they know what they’re doing.
