Absolutely awful company if i could put no stars i would. I lost my job and went through savings keeping my account current until i could get a new one. When my savings ran dry i went to apply for a hardship after just starting my new job only for them to refuse saying i needed to make payments to defer payments which makes no logical sense for a hardship situation. They were the only company that refused to work with me in my situation.

This is HYUNDAI MOTOR FINANCE USA. TrustPilot only knows them by HMFUSA.

They are a tragedy of errors. I retuned a 2024 leased Ionic 5 three months ago. The car was surrendered to McDonald Hyundai dealership in CO on May 15, 2026. They have continued to withdraw payments from my bank for 3 months now. I have spent between 10 and 20 hours on the phone.

Their service is the worst on earth. Go though at least four "auto menus" with a machine before finally getting an answer from offshore person in India. Then put on hold, seemingly forever. He says "heavy call volume, please with 5 more minutes" after I have already been on the phone for 20 minutes.

If you want telephone torture over a error for a leased car, try HYUNDAI MOTOR FINACE, wherever you lease a new car. I am very sorry I got entangled with an inept dealer, McDonald Hyundai in COLORADO, who has done NOTHING to resolve this problem that they created with Hyundai Motor Finance, the worst problem solvers on earth with an automated phone torture system from hell.
