Min oplevelse med Hodtv har været utrolig dårlig. De har forsøgt at trække betaling for et årligt abonnement fra min bankkonto, selvom jeg ikke har været kunde hos dem i flere år!

Jeg modtager mails hver eneste dag, hvor de informerer om, at de prøver at trække penge. Det har tvunget mig til at flytte penge til en anden konto og bestille et nyt kort for at undgå yderligere problemer.

Derudover har de blokeret min mailadresse efter en uenighed for nogle år tilbage, og nu ignorerer de mine henvendelser totalt – både fra min primære og sekundære e-mail. Det virker som en strategi fra deres side for at undgå at stå til ansvar.

Denne form for opførsel er helt uacceptabel og grænser til bedrageri. Hvis de fortsætter med at ignorere mig, går jeg videre med det til politiet.

Jeg anbefaler på det kraftigste, at man holder sig langt væk fra Hodtv.

Title: Beware! They try to charge you years after cancellation

My experience with Hodtv has been extremely poor. They have tried to withdraw payment for an annual subscription from my bank account, even though I have not been a customer for several years!

I receive daily emails informing me that they are attempting to withdraw money. This forced me to transfer funds to another account and order a new card to avoid further issues.

Furthermore, they blocked my email address after a disagreement years ago, and now they completely ignore my inquiries – both from my primary and secondary email. This seems like a deliberate strategy to avoid accountability.

This behavior is completely unacceptable and borders on fraud. If they continue to ignore me, I will escalate the matter to the police.

I strongly advise everyone to stay far away from Hodtv.

Notice: This is the second time I’m sharing a negative experience because I’ve previously written on Trustpilot about how they withdrew money from my account without consent.

After downloading this app I realised it was not for me. I have continually emailed and asked for this to be terminated but to no avail. I can't even find an unsubscibe link. Terrible communication.

I have canceled my subscription in 2022. I discovered on my bank account that SEK 463 has been taken on July 29, 2023 by Hod tv. I demand my money back in my account, because this is not the first time you take money from a customer who closed a subscription account.

So I left a 1 star review, two days ago.

I recieved an email today from Trustpilot stating HODTV had responded to my review, and are requesting more information.

Absolutely nowhere in HODTV's response do they request more information.

In a link with trustpilots email, the only request was my full name and contact telephone number....ABSOLUTELY NOT !!!!

Their response is exactly the same as ALL the other responses.

HODTV representatives are angry, rude, and abusive people.

Why would I contact them after deciding not to continue my subscription ?

Did they think they could bully, intimidate, or manipulate me into paying for something I WAS NOT INTERESTED IN ?

After reading other customer reviews, stating HODTV have debited money from accounts "after" subscriptions had been cancelled, and even a review that said HODTV debited a years subscription in one transaction, coupled with their rude, abusive, (and even threatening legal action ) behavior ( which is laughable), I made an educated decision, as adults do, to stay "well away" from a service such as HODTV.

HODTV can go sook as much as they like.

And the way in which they respond to customer reviews is a PERFECT and EXACT representation of this company.

Doesn’t work. Movies don’t play.

We where really looking forward to watching some good horror movies. So we tried the Free period. But after browsing to try and find something to Watch, we watched trailer after trailer… and just one crappy b-movie after another… nothing good at all, just the trash no one else wants…

What kind of idiot would be entertained by this??

I wouldnt recommend this streamingservice. I did cancel my order in time but still hodtv took money for full year. Mailed the customerservice but the answer was one of the worst and aggressive i have encountered. They even wrote with capslock that they wouldn refund my money cause i didnt cancel my order in time. Mailed them my cancellation confirmation which led them to ghost me.

I wouldnt ever recommed this platform or customerservice

Bad ui, bad subtitles (misspelling, bad grammar etc) and mostly low-quality movies

Bad quality and audio sync.. And an Even worse Google translated subtitle..

I discovered this streaming TV thanks to a friend ... I was a skeptic at first, I already had Netflix and Prime Video but I changed my mind: never seen so many horror and thrillers in a single streaming TV ... and they always put new ones ... I started with the monthly subscription but then I switched to the annual ...
If you're a lover of the genre I don't think there is anything better in circulation today ... then it costs very little ... I watch it on my smart TV LG
Strengths: never seen and quality movies
Weaknesses: some ios options are missing (like chromecast, which is available for android for now). But it has very few weak points, since they are there I only watch their movies
