DEEPLY UPSETTING , ALARMING AND UNACCEPTABLE

DEEPLY UPSETTING , ALARMING AND UNACCEPTABLE
It is deeply disturbing to read reviews from investors who say they placed their trust—and in many cases their hard-earned life savings—with Holborn Financial Assets , only to feel they were let down. Some reviewers allege that financial advisers were motivated by high commissions and ongoing annual charges, while failing to take responsibility for the investments they recommended when those investments performed poorly. They raise serious concerns about professional responsibility, transparency, and the duty to act in clients' best interests.
I am to a victim Client of this incompetent practice 2023-2025 from Holborn Ho Chi Minh City ,Vietnam Office, Senior Financial advisor "John Mills " who's son is an actual High Lawyer in London , UK which led me to trust John Mills .
I entrusted a substantial portion of my hard-earned savings to recommended investments, believing they were suitable for my financial objectives and risk tolerance. Instead, I suffered significant financial losses that have had a profound impact on my life.

I feel deeply disappointed by the advice I received and by what I consider to be a lack of accountability after these losses occurred.
After I raised my concerns about the substantial losses on the investments that had been recommended to me, I recall being told by my financial adviser, John Mills, "You are just unlucky."

I found that response deeply disappointing and dismissive, particularly as I had been paying an ongoing annual fee with the expectation that my investments would be actively monitored and professionally managed.
After suffering significant losses, I felt I had no choice but to carry out my own research to understand what had happened to my investments and why they had performed so poorly.

avoid Holborn Assets

I am a private investor, and I want to warn others about HOLBORN ASSETS. Their adviser, Anthony
Porrovecchio, pushed me to invest in two supposedly “SECURED” bonds (Godwin 8 and Empire Special
Situation 1). I had clearly stated that I only wanted safe, regulated, low-risk products. Yet these products
were in fact risky, unregulated, and are now under judicial administration. Reports confirm they were
not secured, with a high risk of total loss.
I contacted HOLBORN ASSETS Vietnam (Andrew Menzies and Anthony Porrovecchio), as well as HOLBORN Hong Kong (Greg Miller) and Dubai (Robert Parker). None of them reply me directly ; I only got automatic and useless answers.
HOLBORN ASSETS has shown serious incompetence and negligence. They refuse to take responsibility
for the financial damage they caused.
If you are a private investor, I strongly advise you to stay away from HOLBORN ASSETS

My experience with the investment…

My experience with the investment products sold by Holborn has been a financial disaster, resulting in losses of more than €1 million.

There was a complete lack of transparency regarding the commissions received, leaving me with a strong sense of having been betrayed and taken advantage of. Despite the catastrophic performance of the investments he recommended, my adviser showed neither empathy nor humility.

I also made the mistake of encouraging friends to follow the same advice, something I deeply regret. Based on my experience, I strongly advise everyone not to place any trust in the investment advice provided by Holborn.
I have decided to join forces with other victims to take legal action in order to put an end to these practices.

Sold unsuitable, unregulated products through their Vietnam office, then silence once they defaulted.

Sold unsuitable, unregulated products through their Vietnam office — then silence once they defaulted.

In 2021 and 2023, on the recommendation of my adviser at Holborn Assets' Ho Chi Minh City office, I invested across two products: Godwin Capital No.8 and Empire Special Situations 2.

No proper suitability assessment was carried out before I was sold two unregulated, high-risk bond products, not what I'd asked for or what matched the risk profile I gave them.

Both products have since defaulted and remain unpaid past their 2026 maturity dates.

Since then, despite multiple written follow-ups in June and July 2026, I have received no substantive response from Holborn.

Writing this so other prospective clients know what "independent financial advice" from this office actually looked like in practice.
