Would not recommend.

Was assured Microsoft Office Course could be completed in 90hrs, it's been more than 70hrs and I have only completed Word Part 1. Everything is taking me 3x the time they said. I was assured I could do this online and would get help if stuck.

In reality they are closed in the evenings when I work on it. Took annual leave to get help at the centre and they kept cancelling on me on the day or at very short noticed, so gave up.

When London Holborn finally opened on Saturdays again, I would go in. I only get 3hrs work done in 5hrs as too many in getting help, exams or CV's being worked on.

When I hear inductions being done, they are being told to expect it may take longer.

I was told I could not buy the modules one at a time, had to pay full, so I paid. A student I met there bought hers individually. She too found it was taking way more time than she was originally told.

When asked another salesperson if I could have individual prices, they said that it could be bought in full or individual modules. I feel angry about this and how long this is taking with a full time job, I wouldn't mind if it were 90hrs but it is not.

My money has been taken, I feel like I have been part of a scam.

Flexible training and useful courses- would recommend to anyone.

I am really glad that I found Pitman Training in Holborn. My time there has made a huge difference to my prospects and I feel more prepared to work in an office environment, not just in the future, but in my current position. I was able to implement, in the workplace, the things that I had learnt on day one in the Holborn centre. It was great to see such quick results especially with my use of the Microsoft programs. The courses were presented in a format that I felt was really accessible to wide variety of people, and because of the Pitman's flexible approach to learning I was able to study alongside my full-time position. The staff in the centre were always very friendly and helpful, and were always available to help when I had a problem. I know that now I have completed my courses and received my Pitman Receptionist diploma, my CV will stand out to future employers, and I am extremely grateful to everyone at Pitman for helping me to get started and complete my studies.
