Efficient quick service and a good deal.

Clear booking process online, all information needed was provided. When I called to ask further questions, although the wait time on hold was rather long, staff were very friendly and helpful, clear information given. Emails have been responded to in a timely manner and clear to understand.

The waiting time to talk to a representative, clicked on deal at $4999.00 when it went to web site was $5049.00, the representative I ask question relating to the Cruise (Ian) was very helpful and patient each time he called

The process for booking the Europe tour was very simple and the staff were extremely helpful.
I have followed up since to book tours whilst on the coach and cruise and the information was sketchy.
Apparently you can book now for the tours on the cruise but cannot book any tours for the coach part of the trip until you are travelling. No information is available for any tours at this stage for either the coach or cruise.
I would think it would be helpful to offer an idea of available tours even if the information is from past tours just to give an idea.
We have paid but have no idea what we have paid for.

Recently, we completed a 16-day Vietnam and Cambodia tour. It was our first tour with Holidaymax, and overall it was quite good.
The hotels were comfortable and conveniently located in the centre of the cities we visited, which made it easy to explore during our free time — especially the shops and local markets.
However, I was not very impressed with our tour guide, Minh, in Hanoi. It was sometimes difficult to understand his English due to his strong accent. He also did not use a Holidaymax flag while guiding the group and often started walking without ensuring everyone was close enough to follow. Additionally, he specifically asked for tips for himself and the driver, which made us uncomfortable. He even suggested the amount and handed out two envelopes with his name and the driver’s name written on them.
In contrast, we had a wonderful guide in Hoian named Vu. Everyone appreciated him very much. His English was clear, he was knowledgeable, humorous, and caring. At the end of the tour, he did not mention tips at all, which naturally made us feel generous toward him and the driver.
Our guide, Buvi, in Ho Chi Minh City was also good, although at times his accent was a little difficult to understand.
The guide, Sarat, and the driver in Cambodia were excellent as well.
One suggestion for improvement would be to include visits to the museum and the Royal Palace in Cambodia instead of spending time at craft galleries, as most people in our group were not particularly interested in those.
Overall, we would recommend Holidaymax to others if these shortcomings could be addressed.

It was clear any easy to book
Only issue is having to pay balance within two weeks when the trip is over a year away
Would have liked to pay it off over 6 months or so

The guy that booked our trip spoke English very Cleary he was super helpful and was able to answer all my questions .

I booked my Vietnam tour and my booking was accepted but then I got a phone call two days later from Tracy saying the tour was fully booked as only 25 people can only go on the bus and they had a booking for 24 people, so Tracy emailed me another date in October 2027 but I told her that 8 of my friends had/are booking and she said there’s nothing she can do about that so I became extremely disappointed. My friend Fiona who was already booked on the 25/11/27 tour and sorted it out for me and when I contacted Tracy 2 days later she told me that the Company decided to put on an extra bus so she was then able to book me in and send me a confirmation email.

Booking was simple. Response to my query was explained thoroughly, but was a bit delayed. The trip is great value for money
