We recently had all our downstairs fitted with vinyl planks. The finish looks great. The work was carried out with minimum disruption. The fitters were pleasant and curtious. A special mention for Kyle who was left to finish the installation by himself due to a corvid scare. Overall very happy and would recommend Holmes carpets

We are so happy with our new carpet for the stairs and landing. Steven came for measure up and quote and was very competitive and the carpet choice was of quality. Graham the carpet fitter arrived promptly and was an absolute perfectionist he has done an amazing job - thanks to all at Holmes Carpets I cannot recommend highly enough.

We took out the silver package Holmes offer for our home, paying extra for plywood under the bathroom vinyl. The end result was amazing we’re extremely pleased and very happy.

Their customer service is excellent. I felt like a valued customer throughout the experience.

They first completed a home visit to measure and show examples of a small part of the carpets on offer, a very pleasant experience with no hard sell. They went out of their way to find the exact vinyl I wanted for the bathroom (as I wanted the exact vinyl that was already in my bathroom but needed replacing) which was amazing.

I also popped into the showroom to see a larger range of kitchen vinyl and the customer service I received in store was very impressive too.

The carpet fitters that worked directly for Holmes we’re a credit to them; very professional and pleasant at all times. And the finished results were outstanding.

I have already recommended Holmes Carpets and will continue to do so.

Excellent service from start to finish. Home visit to get a free quotation and there was a nice variety of quality and price for any budget. As we had a short period to get the whole property carpeted they managed to fit in with our availability.
The fitter attended and what a nice chap he was a perfectionist and made sure we were happy with the fitting tidying up after himself.

Excellent excellent service from the chaps at Holmes Carpet, can't recommend enough. Steven came and quoted the job of carpeting stairs, landing and second bedroom (which came back very fair) and we had the carpet fitting booked in for the next week. The fitters came and were super polite and friendly, and most importantly have done a superb job. I'll definitely be using Holmes again for future flooring needs.

Great. love my new vinyl.3rooms i had it in.alot easier to manage.and hygenic.the guys that came where great honest and pleasent.very cheerfull.

Amazing service! Steven made the laminate upgrades and levelled my floor at no extra cost. Although I offered and paid half of the cost, I really appreciated the gesture.

We had a few disagreements regarding the floor size but this was quickly resolved.

In addition, the quality of the work done was superb. I have faced many challenges on my project by laminate and carpet fitting wasn’t one because I used Holmes carpet. I will highly recommend regardless of the price and wish all companies were just as excellent.

Holmes got in touch with me via MyBuilder to help me measure out some carpet for my stairs/hallway/small box room during the lock down (albeit safe for tradesman to work) they got in touch quickly and got me a quote for the carpet, fitting and repairing the bad work of ScS!

They managed to source the same carpet I had in the rest of the house and fit it themselves. Fitting day came and the fitters were so professional, did a great job of laying it and I'm so pleased with the result. They cleaned up, took all the rubbish way (and vacuumed!) leaving me with a nice clean finish.

Wish I had known about them before hand as I'd have never gone to ScS. Keeping the business card and will recommend to anyone who needs new carpet or flooring!

From start to finish the professionalism of this company shone through. We had 3/4 carpet companies come out to measure up and give us quotes for 2 properties, Holmes carpets stood out from the start with the knowledge and the only one to bring samples which makes the whole process a lot easier, even beating quotes from all others! We chose our carpet and they arrived on the day as stated and the 2 gentleman fitting them carried on the professionalism, keeping us updated regular, tidying up our underlay which was already down and fitting the carpet to a very high standard. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who is after the same service
