I've lost count of the number of times I've refreshed my first aid ticket with Alex. He always makes it lively and interesting. It was his voice in my head guiding me when I had to actually deliver emergency CPR for real last year. The training works. Everyone should do this! Thanks Alex!

I just completed my second first aid training with this company within the last three years and thoroughly enjoyed the course yet again. Alex is very engaging and makes the course fun whilst being highly informative and functional. I rang the office to check there was space on a course and found Pam to be very helpful. Good training and good customer service! I highly recommend this training provider.

Alex has, by far, the most impressive CV I've ever seen. And yet, he's so humble, and obviously totally dedicated to the brilliant, and massively important (and that can't be overstated!), work he does. And he does it so well - can't recommend Alex/HOLOS enough - absolutely top notch and greatly appreciated - five stars really aren't enough!

I've done two of the EFAW training days (and accompanying online modules). I haven't trained in first aid elsewhere so can't make a direct comparison, but I do know Alex is friendly, engaging, knowledgeable, and helpful. I can't imagine a better tutor, because he also brings such a wealth of experience to the table - literal decades of doing first aid professionally, out in the field, on a regular basis. The prices are competitive and the admin side has always been smooth - no complaints.

Informative online session & good to be able to go back to refresh on procedures. In person class time with lots of practical very worthwhile. Alex was always encouraging & reassuring.

The online part was easy to follow and learn from. The second part of the course was taught with professionalism and personality.

Excellent first aid at work course. Alex does a great job of keeping the content relevant and interesting. He makes sure the most important sections are drummed in so there is less chance of freezing or panicking in an emergency situation. I've done a couple of courses with other companies over the years and always come back to Holos because they are so much more engaging. Great value for money too!

This was the second First Aid course I have been on with Holos. Everything is explained in a way that is easy to understand and I went away feeling I have learnt alot that will stay with me.

I undertook First Aid training with Holos Healthcare around two weeks ago. This course was extremely thorough, with online and in person content. The online aspect contained small assessments which challenged your knowledge of each module, in my opinion it was a great way to make sure I was taking it all in. I went through it thoroughly with breaks and it took around 3-4 hours.
The in person training was excellent, reaffirming what I'd learned online plus the ability to ask questions, perform CPR on a dummy and practice the recovery position and Dr ABC. I would recommend Alex to anyone wishing to do first aid.

Amazing informative course, delivered by an engaging and knowledgable lecturer. Session took place as a part of medical school training.

Second time I've updated my first aid certificate with Holos and am as impressed as I was first time. Alex is a fabulous trainer; very experienced in real life emergency care, relaxed and easy style in sharing that knowledge, come away knowing if I needed to, I'd have the essentials drummed in deep enough.
The online course in advance of the practical is really good; partner was looking over my shoulder learning too and thought it was impressively clear. Always a win if it's me that's goes down! Highly recommend Holos, and thanks to Alex, Petunia and Pam!

I really liked this course compared to others I’ve done in the past. The split home / in class study really works for me and I think is better for my memory. Alex has a lot of experience as a paramedic, is so knowledgeable and teaches at a perfect pace. Love that they offer an annual online refresher and will be signing up.

Highly recommend this course to anyone. Alex is very knowledgeable and has a wealth of first-hand experience which brings everything to life. He is great at breaking down the material into easy-to-follow chunks. His acronyms really help to memorise the most important skills. The new addition of the prior online course is great and makes the face-to-face day focussed on the practical aspects. I will be back in 3 years for the refresher training.
