I almost never leave reviews, only when I truly want to inform others.
Saxo bank’s app is doing what is should be doing. Cost are low and that is great.
However, you feel it in their customer service. They are slow to respond, unfriendly and not helpful. It took 1,5 months to open a shared account because of bugs in their communcation flows. I had to try in 3 different ways to find someone who was willing to resolve the problem and even then I had to use an unfriendly tone of voice to move them into action.
The people managing the chat, are equally unhelpful and frankly rude.

The customer service at this organisation is a total disgrace. They get you to transfer your funds to the bank and then put you through the most horrific compliance process with constant demands for paperwork and evidence. They don’t answer phones and the chat doesn’t work. They hide behind the technology and make the process as difficult as possible. The bank is run by compliance and if you have any complexity in your investment profile avoid at all costs if you value your sanity. It is almost impossible to get your money out of the bank once in due to the compliance. Totally appalling experience, escalated to senior management they also don’t care about your experience and hide behind the customer service team. Never use this bank. Avoid. Utterly terrible.

I had to update my financial data to continue transferring money. I did it and still 3 weeks after i couldn’t transfer any money or buy some assets because they are still checking… After called 3 times and being told they put me on priority i’ll quiet this platform and transfer to another broker.

Avoid at all cost
Since March 2024 they have lost a portion of my money and are still not refunding me due to a ‘technical problem’. This has been going for 8 months.
There is lack of feedback. At this moment it is just theft.
Do NOT place your funds here.
Update: they promised feedback within the week. No feedback ofcourse received.
Avoid this company at all cost!

Filled in a client application and was asked to provide additional information (KYC related). Three weeks later, still no response on the client application, even no further questions regarding the additional information. Contacted their client service by phone and by email which lead to the creation of support ticket number (SAX-5578934-Z8Q1X6& #160) but still no response on my client application. Apparently no interest in recruiting clients.

A few months ago I started getting mails that my information on my account was not up to date. Since I first thought it was phising, I didn't react immediately. Because they repeated the mails, I started updating the information, I've sent the documents via mail, was in contact with the customer support and did everything what was needed. After one of these actions, I started receiving mails with a different name (my husband instead of myself) so I concluded the information had been changed. I checked everything and it looked fine. On feb 2nd, I suddenly received a message that all the shares were sold. Apparently they were still missing information even after all my updates on the site. I understand there are legal rules to follow but the way how they communicate feels inaccurate. And then selling the whole portfolio without personal contact is really inappropriate. Bye bye Saxo

I've been a (happy) customer since June 2023 and after these first 6 months of working with SaxoInvestor as my main investment platform (trading mainly stocks and ETFs with both a CTO & PEA) I reiterate my satisfaction and would not hesitate in recommending anyone wishing to open an account with them. They have a great loyalty program and they do deliver on their promises. Their customer service is outstanding and their platform is reliable and very intuitive.

Update: I did send an email to the address suggested by saxobank's answer to my review, still no answer or any form of contact weeks later...
I have been trying to open an investment account for a family business with Saxo bank in Belgium. The process has not only been very heavy, opaque, not being clear about what document and information was needed, but after having sent all information 4 months ago (!) I get no reply to successive emails. I've tried to call several times, but get disconnected each time after 45 minutes. I read good reviews on the platform, but this is just terribly bad service...
