Cleaner arrived 6 hours late with a text stating ‘sorry I woke up late’. So, our Friday night was spent with two toddlers moving around the house trying to dodge the cleaner (not the Mother’s Day gift we had planned). We had paid for 4 hours of service, specifying a few requests and our cleaner left after 2 hours. Windowsills still had dirt, mirrors left with children’s handprints all over, many of the requests were incomplete. Would be insane to use this company.
Edit: the company have since returned my calls and organized a replacement service with a different cleaner. Will update when this happens.

The first and worst experience with Homeglow. They took my $90 away like steal. I emailed them 7am that my daughter got sick and not able to make 11.00am appointments and no one ever respond for that. They said I am lockout and charge full amount without agree. They say “ company policy”. The cleaner came to our door said must let them know 2 hours, yes I did and they don’t care my daughter got fever and need to see doctor, the only attitude I see on her face was really mad at me. I tried to call: not work, message not work and email also not work.

Worst company and no customer service support about the charges they are making. Never mentioned about recurring $59 every month. Instead of one fee they keep adding $32+59 for another $60. You won't get any answers, don't have any support, no reply to your message or call or email. On the top of it the first service cleaning lady said, if she really cleans well, then it will under value her service so I shouldn't expect any better service.

Only reason I’m giving one star is because they make you give something to leave a review. But this company doesn’t even deserve a one star. They are awful and I suggest to everyone I can that they do not use them. For starters there is no using them once. YOUR LOCKED INTO A CONTRACT FOR MONTHS ON END ONCE YOU SIGN UP EVEN FOR JUST A SINGLE CLEANING. Try to get ahold of someone to talk to about issues, that will never happen. They have zero customer support. No phone number at all. They will email but it takes days for a response. You never actually interact with a human about concerns. I had a cleaning schedule and the cleaner never showed up never called nothing. They charged me anyway. I had to fight the Credit Card company for my money back. Then because it was so disappointing and frustrating I decided to cancel. They charged me $175 to cancel. Be aware of this shady company and do not use their services. Oh and it was not a good cleaning I had to still do thing behind them that weren’t done. Of course it would be that way because who cares no one to call and tell your concerns to. No one at this company really cares about the customers. ITS A SCAM!!

I was very much let down by Homeaglow. Like many people, I got dragged into the 6 month contract. While my initial cleaner was great and very detail oriented, I was then given a cleaner multiple times who would ignore my requests for a basic clean and instead spend 3 hours reorganizing my space and moving furniture and not do basic cleaning that I asked for like cleaning the bathroom.

This company is a SCAM. They lure you in with the first cleaning Sneakily enroll you into a 6-month commitment. and then charge you a $150 to cancel the subscription. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY

Couldn’t get a biweekly clean - only monthly. I called and complained and emailed support many times. After complaining on trustpilot and other reviews, Callie, Sr Customer Resolutions Manager, reached out and provided me a refund and free cancellation. I did not expect that outreach. Thank you Callie - 5 stars well deserved

Deceptive marketing. 6 month subscription when you sign up for a “discounted” first cleaning.
Cleaner was great. Software company will hopefully go out of businsss.

These people are cheaters, scammers, and senior citizen abusers. They use fraudulent practices and smoke screens to cheat seniors and others of their money. Do not use them, give them credit card information ...move on to other options. They need to be brought to task for running a fraudulent business.

Terrible! Do not use!! It is a scam!! Not only did they trick me into a membership you can’t cancel without a huge fee, but the cleaner that came to my house was a strange man instead of the woman I was matched with. He only stayed for 1 hour instead of 3 and did a terrible job.

Be careful with Homeaglow cleaning service. What looks like an affordable introductory cleaning actually enrolls you to a 6 month membership with recurring monthly charges that aren’t made clear upfront . I ended up paying $200 for a single cleaning after múltiple $59 membership charges
Horrible experience. I engaged them in March for a thorough clean of my house. The $19 is for one room. They charged me $150 and they did not even clean a single bathroom of the three. The cleaner pushed dirt around and left in an hour. I filed a complaint and they gave me a five dollar discount for my next clean. I’ve asked over and over for them to refund as it was not acceptable service at all as well as trrminate services. When I said I’m in the middle of moving their response was what state are you moving to? I’m sure we could service you there. I had to tell them I was moving to a shelter due to domestic violence and I got no response. I tried to delete my debit card from their system and it does not allow you to. The responses are entirely AI driven and have no actual customer service. Their ad on TV are entirely misleading except if read 4 pt font. On their website, they say oh the fine print at the end. We all know it’s hard enough for us to find a reliable house cleaner that we trust come into our home and do just as good a job as we would do if we had time or physical ability to do it. I would strongly suggest you find somebody local that you can talk to directly and that you can trust to do what they say they’re gonna do.

I wrote a review about the ongoing emails, text and calls and speaking to EMMA/VIP Service manager that I spoke with on 4/18/2026. The harassment has begun again from Emma. Don't contact or use this company. They will not leave you alone no matter what they say or promise. Emma's message stated " Hi! I just wanted to follow up and see if you're still interested in trying our cleaning service....blah blah." Emma, being a service manager promised she'd removed me and obviously, in addition to others complaints, they are dishonest. It appears I have to take further action against this company to respect my wishes.Even when you contact customer service, request a supervisor, they refuse to stop contacting you trying to bait you into the sane offer, worded different ways. Even the response's here are the same formatted replies you receive every-time. How do you reach someone who is truly in the corporate office?

1 star is far too generous for this scam. Be cautious signing up, because you are signing for a subscription. WHEN not IF you decide to cancel because cleaners/ quality isn’t there, you will have to pay a minimum 250 dollars to cancel a service you barely received. Do not fall into this trap.

They assigned 5 different cleaners and they all canceled and never showed up. I tried to cancel my account but they have no phone support and no way to cancel online. I guess I’ll get a small claims lawyer involved. This company is a full on scam. BEWARE!!!

My experience with Homeaglow raises serious concerns regarding both deceptive billing practices and customer safety.
I booked what was presented as a $19 introductory cleaning. At no point during checkout was it clearly disclosed that this was a recurring membership. It was presented as a one-time service. I immediately turned off future bookings after the cleaning, yet my card was still charged repeatedly in the months that followed.
When I contacted the company to dispute the charges, I was not given a direct explanation. Instead, they sent a lengthy PDF pointing to the hidden terms and conditions that were not clearly disclosed at checkout, and also notified if I wanted to cancel I would need to pay a cancellation fee of $105 on top of all of the charges I had already received from them without my knowledge.
The service itself was also unacceptable. The cleaner arrived with an unannounced additional person, spent a significant portion of the time isolated in the bathroom playing loud music, left early, and did not complete the job.
I also encourage consumers to review reporting from Truth in Advertising, which details multiple legal actions and a class action lawsuit, along with thousands of complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau in recent years.
No one should find themselves unknowingly caught in a predatory billing setup like this after the fact. Stay safe out there.

They got a 1 bc I had to select.
I had an extremely frustrating experience with Homeaglow regarding recurring billing and cancellation practices. I repeatedly requested cancellation of the service, contacted customer support multiple times, and also made repeated requests to have my card information removed from the account, yet monthly charges continued to be processed.
Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue directly, the billing continued after authorization had effectively been revoked. Customers should carefully review the company’s membership terms and closely monitor their accounts for recurring charges.
I have now filed formal complaints with BBB and requested refunds totaling $514.50 due to charges that continued after repeated cancellation and card removal requests. Very disappointed in how this situation was handled.

The management part of this company is basically nonexistant. No replies to emails or request for a phone call. The first cleaner was a no show. They charged me anyway. The second cleaner was 1/2 hour late, paid for 6 hours and she was there 4. The cleaning was very good in some areas and somethings left undone in others. My complaint isn't really with the cleaner, it is with the company itself. Would not reccommend using Homeaglow, a scam as far as I am concerned.
