So just beware: monthly fee is for a subscription to access their platform. You will pay separately for the basic cleaning service and an upcharge for the premimum service.
I booked 4 hours of cleaning and paid for upcharge and the cleaner did the job in 3 hours. At first, I was fine but now that I am having trouble with cancellation.. I think that is not okay bc I still had to pay for that hour and she was not there. So it is all a money grab. So beware.
What a scam. On my first scheduled cleaning, the girl texted me last minute saying her car doesn't work AND had the nerve to reschedule me for another date/time without asking me if that would work. There is no phone number to reach anyone and you can't chat unless someone has reached out to you first. 1 star is 1 too many.
Utter crap. I stupidly signed up for a monthly membership on the $19.99 scam, which turned out to include a mandatory 4 month subscription at $60/month that is not cancellable. They did offer to rework my membership for a new month. The cleaner that was scheduled cancelled the appointment one hour before arrival and it's not possible to reschedule anything for sooner than 24-48 hours, a massive disruption to my schedule which didn't seem to matter to them. No explanation or restitution offered. I'm going to dispute two months of the membership with my credit card for refusal to provide service, and I'm never using these folks again.

This company is a complete sham. I have no idea how they have so many five-star reviews because my experience was the exact opposite.
I contacted them based on the ratings they advertise and was immediately contacted by Laura, who pressured me to book a cleaning. She sent me a sign-up link, but when I reviewed the fine print, I discovered it included a recurring monthly fee. I specifically told her I was only looking for a one-time cleaning and would not agree to any subscription. She assured me that a one-time cleaning was available.
Laura then told me that for $126, a cleaner would spend two hours cleaning my home, including the inside of my oven and other specific tasks. However, after paying and looking further into their policies, I discovered that oven cleaning was not included at all.
The worst part is the complete lack of customer service. There is no working phone number to reach anyone. After they charged my card, Laura stopped responding entirely. I texted her multiple times and received no reply. It feels like once they got my money, communication ended.
Thankfully, I paid with American Express and will be disputing the charge.
Between the misleading advertising, conflicting information, hidden fees, and nonexistent customer support, I would strongly recommend staying far away from this company. My experience has been dishonest, frustrating, and completely unacceptable.

Oh my gosh, this has been probably one of the worst experiences ever!!!. This is such a scam. . Don’t ever use this company They are charging us for times. They don’t show up. I tried to cancel it. They still just give me a response saying oh we’ve got someone coming to your house tomorrow at 9 AM. The person didn’t come. We got charged and even charged a tip twice now we have more charges coming through and it’s on this is unbelievable. This is a complete fraudulent company.
If I could leave ZERO stars I would. They bamboozle your payments & "subscription", charge you whatever. Their cleaners show up off the street, with no uniforms, in dirty cars, with boyfriends in tow, taking smoke breaks. Should not let these strangers in your house. NOTHING about this company is professional. They are zero help with helping with your issues. I would never use this company again and neither should any one else. No wonder why there are tons of articles on them about their false advertising & pricing tactics. Avoid this company at all costs to protect yourselves from the headaches, frustrations, and loss of money.
The last cleaner (Ariel) who came to our home was extremely rude and unprofessional. During the visit, she made inappropriate and discriminatory comments that I found offensive and unacceptable.
The issue began when my mother pointed out an area that needed cleaning. The cleaner stated that she could not work because she did not like being told what to clean. She then made comments about not liking to work with people who have a communication barrier. My mother spoke to her in English throughout the interaction, but the cleaner appeared to assume that English was not her first language because of her accent and even suggested that I was being dishonest about that. The entire conversation was inappropriate, disrespectful, and came across as discriminatory.
In addition to this incident, I had repeatedly requested a specific provider, but those bookings were not made and then providers scheduled consistently canceled. This issue was never addressed other than giving me a “credit” for future cleaning which I was not even able to use because last cleaner was so blatantly inappropriate and cancelled her visit mid cleaning.
Overall, my experience with Homeaglow was extremely disappointing. The quality of service was poor, and it was impossible to reach any customer support to address these concerns.
This company advertised an initial cleaning for $19.00. After that, their service was to charge $59 per month for placing us with a cleaner each biweekly period. Problem is, the $59 was charged to our credit card without our approval. Apparently they took our non-response as an indication that we approved the service. Then, when we attempted to cancel they wanted an over $100 early termination fee. Again, we never approved starting the service and certainly were not going to pay an early termination fee. My advice to potential users of this service is to beware of this company.
Following up, I informed them that I am canceling their service. They have repeatedly told me that I must pay a termination fee to do so. I have repeatedly told them no. They are basically harassing me at this point. I have now blocked all communication from them and blocked them from my credit card. Perhaps that will be the end of it. As some reviewers note, canceling their service can be a nightmare.
I am requesting a refund of $140 that was charged to my account after I had already canceled my membership months earlier.
Throughout my experience with this company, I repeatedly had issues with ongoing billing. Even after canceling, my card continued to be charged. There was no clear option to remove my payment method from the account, and I often had to lock my debit card simply to prevent additional charges from going through.
The cleaning services I received were also disappointing. One of the cleanings was performed by an elderly individual who appeared untrained and unfamiliar with basic cleaning tasks. The quality of service did not justify the membership fees I paid.
I paid membership fees for months while receiving little to no value and only used the service twice. Despite that, the company continued collecting payments and has now charged me an additional $140 after my cancellation.
I believe these billing practices are unfair and that I have been charged for services I neither used nor received. I am requesting a refund of the $140 charge and a review of the company’s cancellation and billing procedures to prevent other consumers from experiencing the same issue.
I wish I would have seen these reviews before I signed up. Definetely got ripped off. Stay away from Homeaglow

As a cleaner for several years, I find it to be a scam. The customer support is minimal, they will send lengthy emails to point out customer complaints but disregard your response as the professional. Threaten you with deactivation or charge you to re-access the site if they do deactivate you. They take $5/he from cleaners on top of whatever they receive from the customer. Then they promos bonuses that disappear after you accept the job and refuse to honor them. Recently 5 of my jobs had bonuses that were not paid out and they asked for sceeenshots, after providing screenshots when it happened again literally within 24hrs they still refuse to respond. Horrible company
Homeaglow's business model appears to depend on confusing customers rather than earning their loyalty. What looked like an affordable cleaning service turned into an infuriating experience once I realized I was being charged for a membership I never knowingly intended to purchase.
The advertised pricing feels like bait. Customers are drawn in by low rates, only to discover that those prices are tied to a membership program that many people may not fully understand they're enrolling in. If a significant number of customers are surprised by recurring charges, that should be a clear sign that the enrollment process is not transparent enough.
A company that is confident in the value of its service should not have to rely on fine print, confusing checkout screens, or disclosures that customers can easily miss. Memberships should require clear, unmistakable consent—not a process that leaves people discovering charges after the fact and wondering how they got signed up in the first place.
The most frustrating part is that this entire situation feels avoidable. Homeaglow could make membership terms obvious and impossible to misunderstand. Instead, the burden falls on customers to catch every detail and monitor their accounts for unexpected charges.
I came away from this experience feeling misled and taken advantage of. The cleaning service itself becomes irrelevant when the billing practices leave customers questioning whether they were given a fair and honest picture of what they were agreeing to.
There are plenty of companies that compete for customers by providing excellent service and transparent pricing. In my experience, Homeaglow did neither. I will never use this service again, and I would strongly encourage anyone considering Homeaglow to read every single term and condition before providing payment information.
The cleaners aren’t bad but the service is shady! You purchase a 3 hour cleaning and don’t realize you are purchasing a subscription. It’s cheaper to just find a cleaner and even when i reached out the did nothing. Stay away from the service!
I was surprised to see a $110 charge on my card after the cleaning, even though I had only paid $19. They also forced me to subscribe to their monthly plan. The automatic subscription and card change were frustrating. Customer service was unhelpful and only provided automated responses. I had to dispute the charges with my credit card company. Avoid this company
I would leave zero stars if I could. BEWARE! Please do NOT use this service. I did and it was a huge mistake. I set up a service acct with homeaglow and yes, I knew there would be a monthly recurring fee, but felt it was worth it if it was a good service. Once I enrolled, I received confirmation of my service date and time. The morning of my appt I received a text from my cleaner that she was running late, but on her way. A hour later I received a text stating she arrived and had begun cleaning. I texted that I was home to the cleaner and didn’t see her. Obviously I received no response. Three hours later a text came through saying the cleaner had finished. I then received my service amount due that would be charged to my credit card and did I want to add a tip. I was home all day and no one showed and my house wasn’t cleaned. I texted the cleaner several times with no response. The only way to contact homeaglow was via email. After exchanging multiple emails over several weeks (it always took them 2-4 days to respond) I was told I was locked into the contract, that they would send another cleaner to clean since I wasn’t satisfied with my cleaning. Not satisfied? NO, it was never cleaned!!! After a couple more emails, I sent the company my lawyers contact info and told them he would be contacting them. That’s when I finally received a heartfelt apology from homeaglow and a confirmation my subscription would be canceled. Maybe the positive reviews on their site are real, but there is nothing anyone can say to make me believe they are.

Purchased 1 time voucher and was auto-enrolled into membership I did not agree to. ZERO STARS.

This is a follow up review on my terrible experience with this company. I initially posted in March and I’m reposting now after never hearing back from them even though I requested a cancellation since January, they have continued to charge me and just charged me yet again at the end of May. This company is a complete scam. Will not answer support any longer after I posted this bad review. I wish I could give them negative stars. Do not fall for their Scam
BEWARE THIS IS NOT A ONE TIME TRIAL! This is an automatic membership for 6 months which IS ABSOLUTELY NOT CLEAR IN THE MARKETING!! SO INSTEAD of figuring out that they employ unreliable people who cant find jobs else where,l on your firat visit, you can change cleaners and learn it 6 times or realize its cheaper to pay their monthly fee than to allow these people into your home. The cleaner I finally had show up after 1 no show and one 3 hour late was a nice girl but not someone I was going to trust once a week to come in for the high schooler level of clean she provided. DONT DO IT!!

Unbelievably poor service. Cleaner entered, half cleaned one mirror, made herself a coffee, and left. I paid more than $120 for this, and wasted valuable time with disinterested office team

If I could rate it 0 I would. Scam all around. I got there because of a promotional rate, and buried somewhere in some bullshit terms and conditions is a monthly subscription fee that wasn’t communicated. The customer service is also deeply unhelpful. On top of that, the cleaners are poorly paid. If I could rate 0 I would.
