⭐ 1 Star

⭐ 1 Star — TOTAL SCAM. Stay far away from homegodecor and anything linked to Lowell Soen.

I ordered what I thought was a simple one-time purchase a pool for my children to enjoy this summer. The product was listed on a site called Lowell Soen. The price seemed fair, the site looked legitimate, and there was zero indication that I was signing up for anything more than the product.

But that’s when it all unraveled...

🔹 The charge on my bank account didn’t come from Lowell Soen. It came from a shady, completely unrelated company: homegodecor a site I had never seen, never agreed to, and never interacted with directly.

🔹 Shortly after, I received a vague email saying I was now in a “cancellation period” and that they’d be charging me again, €49.99 for a so-called “subscription” I never agreed to.

🔹 I never saw a subscription option, never received terms, and never got the product. The pool? Never arrived.

🔹 I tried contacting them through their live chat. They closed the conversation multiple times, ignored my messages, and offered no resolution. Zero customer service, zero accountability.

And that’s not even the worst of it…

🔹 Since that transaction, I’ve had multiple unauthorised payment attempts from other random companies I’ve never heard of. That tells me my payment info has likely been shared, leaked, or sold. This isn’t just a scam it’s a data trap.

Let me be brutally honest:
This isn’t just a “bad company.” This is a fraud operation masquerading as online shopping.

They:

Use fake or front-facing brands like Lowell Soen

Charge through unrelated sites like HomeGoDecor

Enroll you into hidden subscriptions

Close support chats when you ask for a refund

And allow your card details to end up in the hands of other shady companies

I’m now:

£43.30 out of pocket

Mentally drained and anxious

Letting down my children, who I promised a summer activity

Fighting my own bank for a refund

Filing complaints with Action Fraud and the Financial Ombudsman

This may seem like a “small transaction” to some, but to me it was everything I had spare. And to be scammed like this? It’s heartbreaking.

🚨 DO NOT trust homegodecor
🚨 DO NOT fall for any ads under the name Lowell Soen
🚨 DO NOT give them your card details not even once

I’m posting this across Trustpilot, Reddit, Sitejabber, TikTok, and Instagram. Because people deserve to know this is happening.

This is fraud disguised as e-commerce and I will not stop until they’re exposed for what they are.

SCAM!!

I clicked a link thinking it would take me to a trusted store, but after making my payment, I found out it was charged by HomeGoDecor instead. Suddenly, I had an account and a membership plan I never agreed to, with recurring charges every 14 days.

Canceling the membership isn’t straightforward — it’s only free to cancel after 24 hours, and then the cancellation process itself takes 14 days, during which they still charge you.

When I contacted their customer service, all I received were generic copy-paste replies insisting that I signed up voluntarily and referring to their terms and conditions. I NEVER SIGN-UP AND NEVER AGREED TO ANY TERMS AND CONDITIONS!!!
This is scam!!
Update: I was contacted today — they’re still insisting I subscribed knowingly. They offered a refund, but only if I take this review down. According to them, it’s unfair, since they “fixed” the problem.
Still, I’m leaving this review. The problem shouldn't have happened at all. Just because it’s fixed now doesn’t make the original experience any better — it was misleading and frustrating.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam, first they tricked me into buying a gift card, which said that I would receive free gifts if a I paid delivery fee only. When I did that, instead of what was promised, I was automatically enrolled in a subscription plan in which they said my card would be charged every 14 days for "credits" which could be used to avail discounts on their products. After realizing what happened, I asked them to cancel the membership which they said would take 14 days. Three days after this request, my card was automatically charged to another subscription fee and added credits. Upon asking, first they kept going round in circles saying it was part of an ongoing bill (who signed up for that?). After much argument, they agreed to give me a refund only if I gave a positive review on this website, with a screenshot to prove it. I also did that, because I desperately wanted my cash back. But I still, to date have not received my money. Instead, my card was charged AGAIN the third time right after they said they would refund me. Luckily enough I had informed my bank to block the card and I was saved.

Ps: besides this, everytime my card was charged it was done twice, twice for the gift card and twice for the so-called subscription.

If you see this company name anywhere, do not and I repeat do not give them your card details!!

BEWARE THINK VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE SUBSCRIBING!!!!

Three payments have been taken from my account by this company all in the same month. I did not subscribe to this company! They will not answer my questions as to what was purchased or where they were sent. So far I have been liaising with 13 different people not one has given me a direct answer.
