I honestly can’t thank Homenow enough for helping me find my forever home. From the very beginning, the team felt more like people who genuinely cared rather than just doing a job.

They really took the time to understand what I was looking for, not just in terms of a house, but what “home” actually meant to me. There was just honest advice, patience, and support the whole way through.

What meant the most was how involved and reassuring they were during the stressful moments. They kept me updated, answered every little question (there were a lot!), and made the whole process feel so much more manageable.

You can tell they care about getting it right for you, not just closing a deal. Thanks to them, I’ve ended up somewhere I truly love, and that means everything.

I've been rent-to-buying with Homenow since 1st March, and my experience with them has been nothing short of outstanding.

I reached out in January regarding one of their plots in Meon Vale, and they were able to book viewings for us the same day due to an upcoming holiday. We viewed two of the plots, liked the layout and design, and decided to go for it.
Before committing, we enquired about their other available plots. Homenow allowed us to view five properties in total — four 2-beds and a 3-bed — and we found that one particular 2-bed was perfect for us.

The application process was straightforward: credit checks, going over the process to make sure it was the right fit, and within two weeks we were agreeing on move-in dates.
I chose Homenow over buying directly for a couple of reasons. Affordability played a part — the 5% deposit back works nicely alongside my existing 5% savings — but honestly, it also came down to the fact that I'm a nervous buyer. I like to live somewhere first and make sure I'm happy before fully committing, and this scheme allows exactly that.

I'd been searching for properties for many months and even considered shared ownership over a year ago, but I genuinely believe this route is far better.

It wasn't all flawless — as I believe we were among the first on this scheme in this particular development, there were some teething issues with viewings through Persimmon and a little confusion around which appliances were included. That said, these were minor points that were resolved quickly.

A big shoutout to the entire team: Jemma was reassuring and incredibly knowledgeable about the scheme, and Charlie, Nicola, and Martin all deserve a mention too. The whole team has gone above and beyond for us, and we're really grateful for their support.

An absolute delight to deal with from initial contact through the entire process, onboarding was supported and clear, communication was excellent and hassle-free. I felt like their team was extremely personable, knowledgeable and accessible all the way through to moving in and beyond. Homenow were exceptional from the first engagement… clear and informative discussions with Charlie & Michael. Our process was relaxed but still efficient, this was a huge decision for our family and not once did we feel rushed or part of a sales process.

Once our contract was signed and move in date agreed the teams worked incredible hard to keep us informed and place our minds at ease..

After we moved in the senior leadership came and visited which was honestly the icing on the cake getting to meet the minds behind this scheme and so they can appreciate the impact they have had on our family..

This is the best thing that has happened to me in recent years. I got a house I could only dream of. The whole process took about 5 months. The customer service was incredibly warm and personable. I highly recommend them.

When I was looking for a house I originally looked to renting but we struggled to find one that allowed pets. But as we was saving to buy our own house I heard that there was a rent to buy scheme,

homenow popped up and I wasn't sure if it was real or not, but I took the risk and we found our house. We could not thank homenow enough the customer support was extremely helpful with getting us all the paperwork sorted.

If you are reading this I would recommend you doing it as they will help you get on the property market and into the house you want.

We also got a welcome pack of sweets and chocolate for our move in we wasn't expecting it but it was really nice thank you home now.

When I found out about HomeNow from a friend, I never really had high hopes that things would work out in the way they did. I am fairly cynical and don’t believe things that sound too good to be true. However, we filled out the initial application online and we were given an indication of the value of the property we could look for. We tentatively went through the full application process waiting for something to go wrong. It never did. The application was fully approved after all our checks went through, and after two or three viewings of homes we liked, we finally found ‘the one’ and submitted this for approval. HomeNow listened to our views and did everything possible to make our dream come true and we have just moved into a beautiful four bedroom property (‘the one’) and we could not be happier. Don’t get me wrong, the process can still bring all the frustrations of buying a property the traditional way (from what I’ve heard) and it can be a gruelling process, however HomeNow had our best interests at heart and always explained everything to us step by step and we were reassured throughout.

If you are struggling to get a deposit together and you need an alternative route to buying a home then do not hesitate to use HomeNow, it’s honestly the best decision we ever made.

After renting for years it was hard to get even part of a deposit…. Thankfully home now we’re brilliant and have done exactly what is advertised. I am yet to reach the 5 year mark to see how much I get towards the final mortgage on my own. However so far my experience has been great. Kept in contact throughout the entire process and answered any questioned I needed to know.

Fantastic experience from initial application to homenow buying the property we chose. The house value has increased significantly since we moved in nearly two years ago and I'm guaranteed a third of the increase in value so couldn't be happier.

When I learnt about Home Now I instantly thought it was too good to be true. We wanted to own our home really badly but didn’t have the deposit to apply for the mortgage. I completed their application just for fun, never thought anything would come out of it. Months later I had almost forgot about it, when I got a call saying I had been approved and could start looking for a home. We spent months looking, at times losing our faith as any of what we were looking at seemed good enough.
We finally found it, and even the process was long and at times frustrating, we were always supported along the way by Gareth who provided us with updates, advice and guidance.
They have also gone the extra mile and supported us with our notice period which would have put us in financial troubles. I have felt valued as a person, as my personal situation mattered, they were not in just for the money.

I always thought I would never be able to buy my own home, as saying money for a deposit in today's economy without the help of my parents is almost impossible.
Then we met Matt who made us believe in it, reassured us every time we were losing faith, kept telling us "keep looking, keep going".
When we found our dream home we met Gareth who was super friendly, always providing with advice, guidance and reassurance any time we needed.

Without being able to rely on the bank of mum and dad or other help my wife and I were certain we'd never be able to get on the property ladder.

After researching everything from shared ownership, lending circles and even crowd-sourcing we happened upon HomeNow's website. At first it sounded a little too good to be true, they basically give you back 1/3rd of the appreciation value at the end to partially fund your deposit and give you a fixed rent for 5 years. We did some research on them and could not find anything available other than a very old message on a message board asking if anyone has used them before. (with no answers)

We took a chance and messaged them saying we might be interested and asked if we could get more details. We were pre-screened using a credit check, expense breakdowns, identity checks etc. and then asked what areas and price classes we were looking at.

They gave us a rough quote of what it would cost per month and after a few months we set out to find a property. Full disclosure - going to viewings and arranging viewings is a bit awkward when using them as none of the estate agents have either heard of a scheme like this and some outright refused a viewing if we could not make an offer on the day ourselves.

Last year October we found a perfect 3-bed in an area which we previously looked at and told Homenow that the property is perfect for us. On the same day, which was a Sunday, they emailed us back to let us know they've put in an offer on the property.

Up until this point we were still slightly wary this might be an elaborate scam for our details but our fears were alleviated when they actually followed up and even made a few arrangements to help us regarding certain aspects of the purchase process which I won't list on here. Let's just say if this was just any other landlord they would not have been nearly as accommodating.

When getting close to the exchange date they cared enough to ask us if we had alternative accommodation available in case the date gets pushed beyond the end of the lease; and even looked for rental properties in the area that we can consider moving to while the process continued.

We received our keys at the end of April, picking this up directly from the estate agent and finally moved into a house that was perfect for us.

In practice they want you to live in the property as if it is yours and you are given near carte blanche in what you do at the property. So far we've redecorated three rooms and put in an upgraded dishwasher and constructed a large playgym in the garden outside.

Throughout the process they have been very consistent as a company with a vision of helping people and not once did I feel like this is a predatory letting agency or landlord just trying to do the absolute minimum to maximize the gain on their investment. A few times I automatically assumed the worst or was completely too skeptical just based on the past experience I've had with other landlords and letting agencies and was not used to working with normal people who don't just see me as a cash-machine.

Pros of using Homenow:

1) They care about people, several times they've done more than they legally probably would have been bound by and definitely more than what a normal lettings agency or landlord would have done.
2) You live in the property as if it is your own. Don't like the colour scheme, annoyed with something you don't like? You can change it.
3) You can pick the area you want to live in now, and don't have to worry about price-creep pushing you out of your preferred school catchment area etc.
4) It gives you a fixed savings goal and any inflation above the target buy price you are effectively hedged against (within reason)

Cons of using Homenow:

1) Awareness in the market is not great, you might be excluded from some viewings and properties.
2) You live in the property as if it is your own. Apart from the benefit of being able to change what you want; you will also need to fix most issues yourself; this goes part and parcel with the full homeowner experience at the end of the day. They do do surveys in advance so most issues initially should be purely cosmetic in the grand scheme of things. To be fair I've learned a great deal of DIY I would not have had learned in a normal rental.

In summary they delivered as promised; they treated us as actual human beings and this was potentially the greatest move we've ever made.

I can't begin to express my thanks enough to HomeNow and think it's criminal that they don't have thousands of users already.
