A concerned citizen

I can only presume this is a substantial investment to expand the store in Clane Shopping Centre. However, I do have concerns about security in the store. Staff appear to be dealing with people stealing stock on several occasions, yet there never seems to be a security guard present.

I would like to know how much stock the company is losing and, more importantly, how safe the young staff members feel in that environment. It must be a very stressful place to work.

Homesavers RIp off

I’m just out of the homesavers shop in ballyshannon county donegal where I bought 2 items. One was €8 and the other €16 .when I went to pay I was told it was €38 !! I asked how was this as the items were €16+€8 totalling €24 but the shop assistant informed me that it was £24 sterling . When I looked again I seen that it was sterling prices on the box even though the shop is in Ireland which holds the euro currency.. And I don’t know where they get their exchange rate out of as even if it was £24 how do they work it out at €38. Absolute disgrace ripping people off and il never be back in the place. I don’t know how people are so vulnerable and don’t challenge these cowboys. The homesavers shop in ballybofey county donegal is the same I’m informed .Needless to say I left the items back and demanded a refund.

Where is this company getting their exchange rate from?
I was shopping in their limerick store today with my daughter and granddaughter all the prices are in sterling and to pay in euros you are paying double and treble the price.
I would advise people to avoid shopping in Homesavers until the get their act together and stop ripping people off.

Homesavers Delivery Driver Road Rage

Date, time, location of incident: 17/07/2025; 18:00; entering The Strand, Liverpool.
Lorry Registration: PN73 EHK

Good evening,

I suggest that the male driver of your delivery lorry (detailed above) may be reminded that he is free to honk his horn and aggressively shout at another driver through his vehicle's window when in the comfort of his own car. Perhaps, however, he should refrain from doing so when driving an identifiable vehicle belonging to the company for which he works. Gridlock traffic is unfortunately unavoidable and inconvenient. Kindly suggest to this person that his aggression was unnecessary and that he also crossed a junction into what transpired to be the incorrect lane, as he ended up travelling alongside me for half an hour before ending up directly in front of me.

Kind regards,
A Bemused Driver

Went Into the stranorlar store a few weeks ago and the assistant was scanning the purchases of the lady in front of me when my partner asked me if there was anything else we needed the assistant turned around very quickly and shouted and asked was there something else we needed when I said we were just talking to each other she shouted again "it's called customer service sir"
When I was paying for the item I told her never to raise her voice to me again she shouted again it's customer service sir and I should go look it up.
I have emailed home savers ,filled out their online enquiry and contacted them on social media not as much as a reply have I received.its not the first time I had a problem with this lady I walked around the store one evening when the store was practically empty and she walked around after me.
She's rude and the company doesn't even acknowledge my complaint.

I had a disappointing experience at Home Savers in Tallaght today. An item I wanted was marked €2.99 on the shelf but came up as €6.99 at the till. When I raised this issue, the staff member said it was just a mistake and that it wasn’t his fault. I asked to speak to a manager, but the supervisor I spoke to was unhelpful and rude, stating there was no manager available. Overall, I was frustrated with the lack of resolution and poor customer service

Very disappointing costumer service!

Very disappointing costumer service!
Probably the last time when I shop at Homesavers Ballyfermot. It’s the second time when I paid for products I didn’t buy. The person at the till scanned some biscuits I didn’t even have in my basket: 2 packs for €6.99 each. I thought the total was a bit over what I estimated, but I could only check the receipt when I got home.
The first time she scanned a product twice.
