A connector busted on outside faucet. It's a $5 part to patch, $10 to replace, would take 5 minutes to handle. If I wasn't recovering from back issues, I would have handled myself...but decided to use FAHW, cause, that's why I have it.
Discovered leak Saturday, had water shut off, submitted claim. Was told plumber would be out Thursday. ... I spend hour on phone with FAHW and contractor, they coming out Monday first thing 8am. Ok, I can wait 2 days. Then it was rescheduled for Tue. Then Thursday at 8am...then 12pm... then at 3:30pm someone shows.
He takes a picture, says it's a "rare part" you can''t buy at Lowes (the Lowes 15 minutes from me has 11 in stock) and they gotta order. I can see the picture he submitted on claim through website on 04/30. It shows the same break and part that was submitted on 04/25. Any PART needed ordering or APPROVAL for fix, could have been decided off that first pic... but, NOW, FAHW is saying they need 1-3 days to review claim.
$10 part...5 minute fix... I'm 6 days no water, whole house smells like sh*t cause I can't flush toilets, using bottled water and a sponge on a stick to clean my back from a surgery cause I can't take a shower. Contacted FAHW to see if they can speed things up, best I got was "maybe it'll be handled today".
The representative was patient and friendly. He explained our options and benefits.
Positive initial call to report problem. Service provider was able to respond and fix issues within 24hrs.

First American Home Warranty has always been there for me when I need help.
The customer service representatives who answered the phones were pleasant and answered my questions. I was assigned a company to fill my request for simple plumbing issues. That company was unwilling to travel from Las Vegas as it was inconvenient. My issue was reassigned and that company fixed my issues in less than an hour. Good work Les Plumbing.
My First American Home Warranty has been on point. Good customer service. No long wait times to report an issue. Thank you

The service guy that came was very quick to see the problem but had to order the parts and will be back Friday morning.

Pool Companies they send out are scammers.
I have a pool & spa coverage - which covers general pool equipment issues.
Each time they send a pool company over to review issues, the recommended contractors report differently on the actual issue. The companies they use in the SoCal area are pretty bad.

I had a bad blower coil and First American and the contractor wanted to charge me $1500 out of pocket and only pay $500 to the contractor for the repair. This doesn't make sense to pay 3 times as much for the repair than FA would pay. Hard to get someone on the phone to discuss about the situation. Never got a call back from supervisor. Then called back and no one wants to talk about a credit for a new unit.

The technician that was dispatched was well informed. Based upon his review of my house plumbing, he determined that replacing the flange unit was not necessary. I spent $125 to get his opinion.
Terrible experience with Frist American. I filed a claim and did not hear from a contractor. Customer Service is of no help and cannot give any answers. Every problem I have is referred to a different department. Now I am being told I have to wait 24-48 hours to receive an email with instructions on how to find a 3rd party contractor and get reimbursed because Frist American cannot fulfill the service. I filled the initial claim a week ago and still have not had any service done. First American did not hesitate to charge the $100 service fee even though no service has been done. I haven't had hot water in a week. Horrible customer service and there is no accountability on their end.

Microwave went out. Took them a month to get a replacement out and it was a much cheaper and smaller model. They wont replace the same microwave and only offer major upgrade options for extra costs. The only free replacement option was a much smaller and cheaper model than the one i originally had.

There was a little confusion on our decision to replace the washer, but in the end, it all worked out and we had our check in the mail a short time later. We are happy with our service. Thank you.
