Do not buy from them!

Ordered 2 sets of Glencairn cyrstal cut glass, and the glass size was different with size of rim and height, which brought me a concern as I was gifting to my friend. I requested one of the item to be replaced, and the email i received was to return it but I will be responsible for the shipping.

The quality of the glass isn't consistent and they know that it will be hard for customers to return, when considering shipping is buyer's responsibility. Just stay away from them as much as possible

Product seems quality. But service and presenting has not been good. Ordered two kits that didn’t come as kits, and didn’t come with the necessary items to assemble or all the items supposed to be in the kit. They offered to send me boxes to assemble myself and send me the missing items with no discount (until I asked multiple times). Then I decided to return and buy actual assembled kits (like I was supposed to get) elsewhere and now I have to pay for the shipping. They come across as inexperienced

BUYERS BEWARE!! This company does not stand behind their word of "Satisfied or Refunded." The glasses I ordered were not fully etched. They will not fix the problem, nor will they refund me the money I paid. They think a 15% store credit will suffice. NO WAY! Why would I ever buy anything else from you? I paid for a service and product and as a customer I expect what I paid for. Not something that is "good enough." The missing etching makes them look cheap. As a buyer, sure you may get lucky and get a good one, but are you willing to risk it when they don't stand behind their word or products?

So I had the 24 piece cocktail smoker set purchased for me as a gift. There is one line to enter the personalizations for 3 areas of the smoker lid. I thought it was for the first part, that being the name. I decided to only put a name liking the year and bottom slogan in the sample image they provide on their Etsy page. I thought maybe it would default with that if nothing was added. And I didn’t think to ask about it which I should have. But they certainly could add more information to guide people on this. It came with the name I chose and the rest was blank. The owner wasn’t even able to send out a new lid with some edits. I would have paid for it. Either way I’ll take responsibility for not asking for clarification before this purchase was made. My bigger issue is the quality. The big torch lighter was like holding a big Lego. Horribly cheap body. No butane refill window. The lock switch still allows for the butane to be released. It’s like a cheap plastic toy you’d get out of a toy machine inside the entrance of a grocery store. China junk. For $80-$90 I expect way better than this. The amount of wood you get isn’t substantial. The cocao beans look ancient of days. I fail to see where any quality or content is for the price. I should have known better and purchased a set off Amazon as their return policy is absolutely stellar for me. Etsy is good for purchasing things from people that actually make the products. Artistic quality pieces. Not junk from China. I can get that off Amazon and return it all day if I don’t like it. If your buying from someone off Etsy try to make sure things are returnable. Especially if some of the main components are from overseas. This place gets a lot of great reviews. These days I think many people settle for lacking quality and high prices. As long as it looks cute from the outside and functions, then people are still going to rate high. I don’t do that. I expect certain levels of quality depending on price. I would never buy from here again.

Ordered 2 personalized glasses, the whole process of the order confirmation to delivery took only 5 days. One came chipped right where I'd hold it, so I didn't want to risk cutting myself and reached out to customer service to get it replaced or refunded. They quickly responded a few mins later (on a Sunday night!) asking for photos and then said they will be shipping me a replacement on them. Excellent customer service

HORRIBLE- I ordered a personalized glass and when received it had a HUGE seam going right through the middle. When I reached out to Jess at customer service the ONLY options were a 15% refund or to return it for 30% stocking fee. No apologies or offers to re-do a sloppy item. WORST purchase I have ever made.

I ordered a monogrammed ashtray. It arrived with chip on the corner. I was surprised they shipped it like that because it was obviously not damaged in shipping. They sent it that way. However, they sent me a replacement. The monogramming on the replacement was really of a very low quality. I could see the difference. Calvin had a lame excuse blaming it on the marble base. Not true. He offered me a 15% store credit. I wouldn’t buy a thing from them ever again.

I ordered an engraved cutting board as a friend’s wedding gift. I paid for express shipping and the product arrived almost immediately. The actual cutting board is gorgeous - the packaging states “Made in China”. CAUSE OF MY DISAPPOINTMENT - The engraving is extremely shallow and the same color as the wood; barely ANY ink was used apparently. The lettering is barely visible and only slightly negligible when I touch the lettering by hand. I phoned HWB and was advised to try rubbing on some cutting board oil (WTH). Clearly they have come across this issue before, so why not address the issue during the engraving process rather than OVER promising and UNDER delivering to a consumer.
Footnote - I bet if I had worked with the people in China (where the cutting board came from), “they” would have gotten the engraving right and probably at a fraction of the cost.

Shipped me someone else’s order, called them, no response. After I stopped payment, thanks Amex, they tell me they want me to do this & do that, like I work for them . . . Yeah right!

This is likely some guy working out of his garage in Oklahoma trying to pretend he’s a big organized company, when in fact, after too many cans of lite beer, he’s stumbling around mixing up everyone’s orders.

Lastly, the person’s order I got was filthy, the glassware looked like it had been sitting on a table at a swap meet for years.

Purchased the 6 piece bourbon smoker kit, engraved for a Christmas gift for my husband. Ordered it 6 days before Christmas (paid for 3 day shipping), it arrived 12/24!!! The engraving was just as expected, the overall product was perfect! My husband loves it!! The two things I can suggest to make this product even better is to give the customer a choice in the type of glassware… The glass we received is very pretty, but I would have preferred to have an option for a heavy lead crystal glass instead of the basic glass (which would cost more, but it’s a gift!) AND It would be nice to have instructions for the torch… I was unsure if I needed to purchase a canister that can fill the torch or if I needed to purchase a butane refill cartridge… I called the company number, unfortunately the person I spoke to had no idea so I had to purchase both of those things at my local hardware store the day before it was due to be delivered. Other than those two things, this is a great gift!! We haven’t had a chance to use it yet, but my husband is looking forward to it. Would definitely recommend this company, and will look to purchase something else in the future from them.

The produce was poorly constructed and IS NOT made on THEIR production floor but in China. The foam used is the cheapest foam with no resilience. It is a cheap foam attached to a thin cardboard that easily bends. This is bad, since this is the cover over the wine and below the wine implements, That means the foam has big dents from the implements pressing against the foam. The box is not sized right and is too small for the wine bottle and implements. They press against each other far to tightly, The height of the box needs to be increased. The enter foam in the box and drape look like they came from a junk yard. They include the personal note being sent on the SHIPPING LABEL in small print - difficult to even find. This note is traditionally a card separate from any shipping label...ridiculous. A real hack outfit and far too expensive for what one receives.

Placed a order paid for express shipping never arrived don’t even bother with there customer service

I ordered a pair of monogrammed leather wraps and two whiskey glasses. While I received the products in a timely manner, they are virtually unusable. The wraps are far too big for the glasses. The leather rides too high on the glass. This makes it almost impossible, and definitely too uncomfortable to drink from.

Ordered an item that said it was in stock, got an email a day later saying it was out of stock. Then I called customer service and the guy said they actually had it in the warehouse?? Got an email saying it was getting ready to be shipped. A week later I get another email saying that its out of stock and I can wait 3-4 weeks or purchase a different item. Scam company don't give them anything. Their reviews on their website are fake and they delete ones calling them out to be a scam.

DO NOT BUY FROM homewetbar.com. They are a scam!!! I ordered a burial flag display case in plenty of time for my father's memorial service with 2 day air included and it was "shipped" by UPS ground. They did not even provide a tracking number. I still have not received the display case 3 days later and my father's memorial service will have to be performed without his burial flag in a case. I tried calling several times and they will not answer their phones. I will avoid buying from them and I highly recommend everyone to avoid this business.

I paid $50 for a customized cigar box, I received a plain cheap little wooden box maybe worth $3, made by ArtMinds. After further evaluating their website I must say I impressed with their little scam operation. I've requested a refund but I doubt I'll get my money back.

Ordered a glass ship in a decanter with pourer . My son -in Law found on on Amazon but I found this one so much more upscale! arrive the same week I ordered it and packaged in a very careful manner . Thank you!

This is not a scam! Wanted to write a review because I just bought a gift for my Dad's birthday and he absolutely loved it. Got him a decanter set because he needed to organize his booze before it drove my mom insane.

This is my 2nd time buying from them and I had no issues both times. Saw someone wrote that this place is a scam and although sometimes the engravings on the glasses have been light or hard to see, the gifts have been great.

BUYER BEWARE ********I placed an order online last at midnight eastern time. I immediately realized that I got the initial in the wrong sequence when reviewing the emailed confirmation. So, I emailed them immediately at 1 in the morning asking them to please correct it before processing my order. I received an email back at 7 am eastern time, " they are on central time" telling that it is not possible to change or cancel my order. What! So I spent 150 plus dollars on a gift they are going to process and ship that has the wrong engraving on it!!!!! unacceptable, unbelievable, terrible customer service!!! I tried calling then even though they say thier hours are central since I recieved an email before they were open but just got a recorded voicemail saying to NOT call and email. THEY called me back a few hours later and refused to edit, correct or cancel my order. So, they will be shipping my husband's Anniversary gift with the incorrect initials!!

This company is a scam! I ordered something for Father's day on June 9th, delivery time frame was 4 to 5 business days. Nothing was on their website talking about delayed delivery. I never heard anything from them in regards to the item I ordered so I reached out in an email. They responded with, due to covid19 things are delayed. Again nothing is on their website stating this, And they were blowing up my inbox with guaranteed at Father's day at delivery emails! Asking people to place their orders as soon as possible cuz they guarantee it for Father's day, And that was 3 to 4 days prior to today! So they're making promises that they cannot keep, who knows if I will even get my item! I would steer clear of this site! Again ordered the item on June 9th, and it is finally the 21st and Father's day and the item still has not even shipped! And yet they are blowing up people's emails telling them that they guarantee Father's day delivery! SHAM and SCAM ARTISTS!
