Charging for a service which can be done for free through the government.

To start, their website is very misleading and you don't discover this until after you pay for the ABN. THEY ARE NOT AFFILIATED WITH THE ATO. They are, and by their own confirmation, simply a middle man pushing in where they are not needed and not requested. I had the option to postpone the commencement date, which I selected and nominated only to have them tell me the ATO won't allow it. I ask the question, "Why do you offer it as an option if the ATO won't allow in?"
Their response, "Some people like to defer their business starting date"
I responded " yes, that is exactly what "I" wanted to do to give time to establish all the usual business arrangements that require an ABN. "
At this point they refused to process the application until the date I nominated meaning a delay to the start of business.
To add to the annoyance, within 1 hour of submitting the application, I started receiving calls from telemarketers even after OPTING OUT of marketing calls and did not give them permission to pass my information on. My new number is only a week old. When confronted she simply told me it's not her department and acted ignorant.
Given this company advertises their "expertise? " in business establishment, their practices are highly questionable, misleading, deceptive, and nothing but a scam. AVOID ENTIRELY.
Additional, I just looked for the INV number to submit for proof but their Tax Invoice DOES NOT have one. Happy to supply a copy of what I received from them if requested.
