I went for food with the girls today in Hook&Ladder,
I have to say the experience was amazing and so was the food.
The manager Shauna and staff are very efficient and friendly.
no matter how busy she was
she took time to make sure we were happy with everything, and if their anything else she could do for us .
Over all a very pleasant experience,
It is a very busy café, and sometimes you can be waiting for seats
but well worth it in my opinion .
Highly recommend.

Ate in Corbally a few times… very disappointed each time. It is extremely understaffed and shocking prices. It took 20+ minutes to even take our order and much longer for it to come. I ordered pancakes and asked if I could get some bacon as an extra and they charged me 3 euro for 2 strips. Also could be cleaner as the tables were sticky and the glasses were smudgy. Will not be going back.

Had lunch in CastleTroy.. ordered a caprese bruschetta - which came with nearly no mozzarella on it..
a slice of bread with some tomatoes! Some salad thrown around the plate. All for 10.95. A dish prepared to make money and not to serve food.
That was ridiculous. I left and had to go eat somewhere else.
Will never ever step into that place again.

Had lunch in Hook&Ladder in Dooradoyle and got the fire cracker borito.
Very bland, no flavour. Waiting in a corner seat for 15 minutes before we were offered a glass of water.
Glasses that came were dirty and full of smug marks.
But the thing that got me the most was the ad ons, brace yourself, they charge €3 for a sausage €3 for ONÉ sausage, you could buy a jumbo packet of sausages for that. Mental, absolutely mental. Rip off republic is back.

I ordered two safari garden chairs from Hook and Ladder. They were delivered the next day. Although garden furniture is not what you might associate Hook and Ladder with, I find these chairs a great buy and value for money. looking forward to put them out on the patio for a cuppa coffee in the morning sunshine.
