An amazing shopping experience

An amazing shopping experience, from ordering on the Friday night delivery the following Tuesday, I read the reviews gave the number a ring he reassured me my order was being sent out that day, I would definitely buy again great communication thankyou 😊

SIMPLY THIEVES!!!!!!
I placed an order on their website on 09/26/2025 for a rifle case that was not marked as unavailable on their website. After several messages, they informed me on 10/07/2025 that they could not fulfill the order and that they would refund me on the same day! However, it is now 10/17/2025 and I have not received any refund. I had to contact MasterCard to cancel the payment and file a complaint with the authorities. In short, these are dishonest people who offer items they don't have in stock, don't respond to messages, and keep your money. THEY ARE SIMPLY THIEVES!!!!!!!!

No dog food and no refund

Ordered some dog food that never arrived. Called them up and they promised me a refund, but the refund was never sent. Now having to do a chargeback with my credit card company.

No item no refund

Much the same as other reviews, placed an order no indication not in stock, chased and told was coming in stock the following week, a week later no update so called manufacturer who advised not due in for at least 6 weeks, promised a refund over a week later still no refund have raised as a charge back with CC please avoid as this is hassle don't need, should be transparent on stock, must be running hand to mouth

Need to keep their website up to date…

Ordered stock that gave no impression they didn't have it in stock. Then got an email saying they had supply issues and my order would be delayed. So I cancelled the order and requested a refund. They replied to say they had cancelled my order but refund hasn't appeared and ignored my email asking where my refund was. Been over a week now I should have the money back by now. They need to update their stock on their website to say out of stock if there are issues and not take customers orders giving the impression they can fulfill the order.

Great experience, would highly recommend.

First time ordering with this company and had done so prior to reading these reviews. I have to say I was a little concerned afterwards, I needn't have been, first class service, very happy with the Hy Stable wraps I ordered, great quality at an unbeatable price. Kept informed, read the apparently "oddly" worded confirmation email, which made sense to me - a small business who would try and fulfill your order as swiftly as possible but it may be delayed due to stock issues or unable to fulfil if they were unable to get the stock (that was what I took from it) which I had no problem with, especially given the great price. Dispatch was very quick and I had my wraps within a few days. Very happy customer, would (and have) highly recommend/ed the company and no doubt I'll be ordering from them again. Really don't understand the poor reviews and certainly not a "scam company".

Great To Deal With & Great Prices

I was a little concerned as I read previous reviews only after placing an order with Horse & Hoof. However, I didn't need to worry. I ordered a Plano rifle/shotgun case from this website as the price inc. delivery was considerably cheaper than anywhere else. I emailed them for an order update and was called back the following day. Very friendly small family business who kept me updated on the Royal Mail/Parcel Force shipping. Item arrived today, earlier than stated and the product is excellent. Yes, some people might have had a poor experience but I can say my experience shopping with them was spot on and I will probably order from them again.

I wish I had read reviews here first

I wish I had read reviews here first, ordered an item 10 days ago and still not received it. I contacted via their web page and left a VM and no reply. Luckily I paid via pay pal and raised it with them who refunded my money.

Keela Heritage Smock bought from a great small family business.

Shortly after I ordered a new Keela rainproof smock from this firm I received what I thought was an oddly worded email that set some alarm bells ringing. Obviously, I hadn’t bothered to read any reviews until that point, but when I saw the reviews on Trustpilot, panic set in.

So I telephoned and left a voicemail seeking clarification. I also sent an email along the same lines.

The following day I received a call back, an explanation of the odd email wording and confirmation that my goods were in stock and soon to be dispatched. I also learned that this is a small family business who are clearly working hard to build their business and improve their service. To me they have come across as very genuine people.

The smock is brilliant, just what I wanted and very competitively priced at just over £300.

My experience has been great although the delivery time of 1 week from the first order was slow in comparison to some of their competitors. Nevertheless, a week isn’t the end of the world.

I thank Horse and Hoof for their communication and the quality of their goods. I’ve knocked off a star because delivery was a little slow. I also wish them the very best is growing their business. Thank you.

PS. For the benefit of readers, I had no knowledge of Horse and Hoof or anyone involved with them before last week when I found them via Google.

Would give them zero if possible

Would give them zero if possible. Ordered with them and after around 4 weeks of waiting I have had no response to emails, voicemails etc and I am still waiting for my order.

Avoid!

I placed my order, no communication for weeks. I sent several emails. It took almost two months to receive the order. Now I feel lucky that I even did receive the items. There was a pair of gloves that was the wrong size that I wanted to return. I wrote numerous emails, no response. Avoid this company.

As stated in the other review this is a Welsh company that has another section of review on Trustpilot. They emailed me stating my item is unavailable and I have been refunded, but they are still selling the same item on their website today and I have had no refund yet. I really wish I had checked the Truspilot reviews before ordering from this website!

Horse and hoof.com is run by Ceffyl a Charn Cyf (see separate reviews) this appears to be a scam company. Most customers, including myself have had to raise a report to PayPal in order to get our money back. Avoid this company at all costs.

Very poor communication

Ordered a gun case and received confirmation from both horse and hoof an paypal. Then heard nothing more and after a week the pending payment went off my account altogether. Emailed twice, tried messenger and phoned numerous times and no response at all. After 15 days an email saying they couldn't fulfil the order!!! That could've been done on day 1.
