We have just arrived home after a 2 night stay at The kestrel lodge at Allerthorpe golf and country park. The park itself is absolutely pristine and well presented and staff on site at the club were great. We booked a lodge for a relaxing get away for a few nights for me, my wife and 2 kids. Specifically with a hot tub. When we arrived at the lodge itself however we found the cleanliness stopped at the park and not into the lodge itself. The hot tub had hair and fluff scattered on the bottom,and bits floating around in the water. The rear patio doors did not lock which meant everytime we went out we took a gamble with valuables. The previous occupants must of had a dog as there was mucky prints on the doors. After we unpacked the children put their cases under the bed, only to find numerous wrappers, babybel wax wrapper and sanitary towel paper wrappers. On the map we were given it showed us to be the end lodge which we thought great, nice and secluded. However when pulling up we realised the park was extending (not an issue as we understood things expand.) however Thursday morning we were greeted with numerous work men, drilling, angle grinder and radios. Again we aren’t oblivious these things happen but if we were made aware works were been carried out so close the lodge we would have looked elsewhere. This resulted in my wife and daughter been too conscious to get into the hot tub and the noise too loud we had to go out for the full afternoon. Considering we paid a over £200 a night including‘ accidental damage we felt a little short changed. But to end on a positive note, the connecting water park and pub down the road were both lovely and maybe another year later we wouldn’t of been faced with these issues. I’d love for a member of the main team to contact me regarding the above.

Excellent property, we had everything we needed, lovely location just a 15 minute walk to Matlock, would definitely recommend and would book again in the future

Lovely comfy and dog friendly was a bonus very handy for getting about Ripon etc will definitely be booking again in the future

absolutely beautiful inside and out decor was on point super clean, shower pressure was amazing, beds were comfy.
loved the hot tub and outdoor seating.
people at the reception were very friendly and welcoming.
enjoyed our staycation was very relaxing and made it even better wish we had booked longer will be visiting again.
short drive to amenities and not too far from city centre.

First impressions of the hotel were very negative. The outside of the hotel needs a lot of a facelift it is not very welcoming at all. Although the gardens seem well looked after. The reception area was awful. It was untidy and not very clean. Our room was very basic and having the wash basin in the bedroom and not with the shower and toilet was not ideal. Thankfully the bedding and towels were lovely and clean. The breakfast was good and staff were friendly. The hotel was definitely not what was expected and needless to say we won’t be going back. We expect our hotels to be at least as clean and comfortable as our home but this definitely wasn’t. Three nights here was too long !!

No33 in tynemouth was perfect for the 7 of us. It was extremely clean, comfortable and perfect location. We are frequents up North and this is easily the best place and location we have stayed

Really good experience very simple to access and secure. Just what was needed. Room was very clean and was a lovely stay.

Host and stay kept us informed all along the way with very clear details on access to the property and great communication. The apartment itself is located centrally to Cromer and has the benefit of a parking space which was fabulous. The apartment was clean, very well equipped and great space! The decor totally suited the feel of place and we loved it! Yes the sofas aren’t brand new and the chairs a little weathered, but it all added to the vibe of the place! Enjoying coffee, watching the world go by in the window, was lovely! The apartment which is in the second floor had lots of extras in there for families too so we enjoyed a game of monopoly, used the body boards and the beach tent as the weather was hot, hot, hot!! The bedding was crisp and white with fluffy towels and extras like soap and body wash. The cleaning team did a great job. A lovely quaint apartment in the heart of a lovely quaint seaside town! It did not disappoint! Thank you host&stay!

Clean and cozy, great location for beach and high street (you just need to know the shortcut). There is a map to let you know.

Our 2nd time is staying, and we will be going back!!!

Super accommodation. Spotless. Very well equipped. Lovely outdoor space with furniture. Nice and private.
Just think it would be better with a shower cubicle rather than a bath as made the bathroom a little awkward. Had to be careful opening bathroom cabinet as worried could smash shower screen.
Apart from that it was lovely.
Nice to see lots of red deer about too.

The site is lovely and the onsite restaurant and bar is great and reasonably priced. We stayed at Cedar Lodge, which had a great hot tub, unfortunately the oven wasn’t great and failed to cook our pizza’s after being in over an hour, and because site didn’t allow barbecues and knowing the food wouldn’t cook in the oven we ending up wasting all the food we brought and spend an extra £100 in the restaurant. Other than that the lodge was well equipped but could have been cleaner, a lot of dust and hair.

Pannett park apartment
Easy to find right next to pannett park and about 5/10 minutes walk into the centre of Whitby and about 15 minutes to the west cliff.
The apartment was furnished very nicely and had everything you could need even provided washing up liquid.
The only downside side was the milk shelf in the fridge was broken but I have reported it to the owner(didn’t affect our stay.) it’s a lovely bijou apartment

Great apartment, good price ,everything you need and more.
Very spacious, good size bedrooms.
Great location, right on beach front and few minutes away from shops,bars and restaurants.
Would definitely recommend.

Nice compact apartment with all you need for your stay. Excellent sea views from bedroom/living room. Could do with a small set of draws for personal items (underware) but a small issue. Top floor so lots of stairs but you do get that magnicent view. I would recomend this apartment and stay again

Fabulous, spacious accommodation in a lovely quiet setting near Bamburgh. We were overwhelmed with the generous hamper of food and essentials left for us by the host. What a treat.

The location is excellent, close to the town, beech, bus stop and great to have a parking space too.
The communal entrance hall and stairs to the apartment are very poor, don't look like they have been cleaned for some time.
The apartment is a good size, ok and for its location relatively quiet.
The dishwasher has a fault and doesn't' work properly.
No curtains or blinds at the kitchen/dinning area.
Sofa and living room chairs not very comfortable.
Some beds were missing mattress and pillow protectors.
Could have done with extra towels and tea towels.

The apartment was fabulous. Spacious and well thought out. I found it very clean and probably one of the cleanest places we have stayed. It is in a nice location with bars and a few places to eat. We walked into the centre and in the evening got the bus there and back. If we went back to Liverpool then I would like to stay here again.
