Made 2 orders for hosting, and more than 1 week now they both have the status "pending activation"...support tickets are ignored it seems. After reading the reviews here and in some other places, it looks like I lost my money and time with these scammers. But no worries, what goes around always comes around, now you scammers have my attention, i will make life "nice" for you.

If you’re outside the USA I would not recommend Hostgator. My help desk chat operator tried to sell me plug-ins which would not fix the problem with my site…then, the number I called to get through to support cost me over £34. Turns out it was a confirmation email which was not sent to me. Avoid!

They took my money and did NOT transfer my domain nor migrate my files after a week later. The American phone number they have is disconnected. I have sent several emails via contact form, as well as opened 3 tickets, and after a week later NO RESPONSE to them. I had to open a DISPUTE via Paypal to get my money back and will have to wait at least 10 days or more to get my money back. PLEASE PEOPLE DO NOT USE

Scam company. Paid for 3 products, two of which I never got to use and staff hasn't answered me back.

Since 25th i have ordered on the website and paid already but Nobody answer my ticket or confirmed my order, this is TOTAL SCAM and i have already reported to the payment gateway support that i paid the invoice but didnt get my service activated , they are SCAMMERS only ,, note to all people

Hostgai has exceptionally blown my mind! The customer support team is quick to respond and is very knowledgeable about what's being offered to the site.

SCAM ALERT! DO NOT ORDER OR YOUR MONEY WILL BE GONE. These are bunch of indian scammers who take your money and do not answer to any query!

Be aware! This company is a fake! Based in India. All their reviews are fake coming from friends and even from the owner himself.
They will destroy your business! They will NOT give you any support! They promise 24/7 but this is a lie! You will be on your own!! They don't offer a phone or chat support - only via support tickets. They have one arrogant person who checks on those support tickets once in a week if you're lucky and that person will answer you briefly in a broken arrogant English that they're there not to educate you. They do not solve your problems. Most often they will even close your tickets without answering them. Or, if you reply to their unclear reply your ticket may be too eventually get closed without any further answer and you will get the email telling you that your ticket was closed because THEY didn't hear back from YOU for 72 hours! Really?!..
If you get a reseller account with them you may lose your business and your clients due to lack of support.
If the server goes down (and it's down quite often) nobody monitors it there. You may have your sites down for several days until that "support" person may do you a favor to reply to your ticket in an arrogant way and without solving your issue.
All the phone numbers they provide on their site are fake Twilio numbers. Nobody ever answers calls - not sales not support departments. It always prompts you to live a voicemail. If you're lucky the person who calls himself Jon may return your call and he will talk to you in a most unprofessional way where he will make you feel like you're stupid. These people have no clue of a western way to do a business.
Their Skype is abandoned too.
Their Facebook page has the same Fake reviews from their friends. I contacted someone who had a review on their FB page about how great their support was and that person confessed to me that his buddy in India asked to use his phone and submitted that fake review.
Their servers most likely don't even exist and most likely are just reseller servers.
They do not deliver what you pay them for.
The free storefront they offer is a joke. It's full of bugs, making wrong charges, incorrect actions, messes up users, etc, and the support staff for that storefront barely speaks any English. You can not understand them or make them understand the issue you're having. And the Hostgai tells you it's too bad - it's a free offer and they are not responsible for that storefront and the support for it is not even from Hostgai.
They are FAKE! Stay away and look elsewhere else!
If you thought Godaddy has the worst support and servers then after dealing with Hostgai you'll think you'd think that Godaddy are the best!

Last week I purchased a Premium Hosting fom hostgai I never expected such fast performance shared hosting thumbs up and also great support. I am a blogger I am very satisfied with the performance of the server. I also used fatcow, siteground, but at this price I never expected.
