The space was extremely comfortable
The space was extremely comfortable, with great lighting. In terms of quality for the price, it was absolutely worth it. The neighbors were friendly and quiet, which really contributed to a peaceful and relaxing stay.
Everything was spotless upon arrival, and the cleanliness truly stood out. Plus, the coffee provided was excellent!

Worst customer service I have ever experienced with a rental company. They are communicative and fast until you complete your booking. Once it’s paid;
They answer your emails witch chatgpt without reading your question. Have asked at least 7 times for a proper invoice, still not received after weeks passed.
Arrived in the rental property with no baby crib and chair as I have paid for and asked to confirm several times. Feeding my child on the ground and still no answer on why its not here and when we will receive one.
No customer service
We booked months in advance. The day of the Check-in, we Receiver a message with the "details". In fact it was an empty message. We tried to contact Hostwise by text and phone, but without success. Airbnb finally reached them after hours and they sent us the details and the Code for the key-box. The key didn't fit. The games started again: their we're not available on the phone or by messenger. Airbnb cancelled the stay and organized another apartment.
Host Wise Fraud and Abuse
I request an immediate **full refund** for my reservation at Rua Guedes de Azevedo 203, apt H8, Oporto, Porto 4000-111, Portugal, due to multiple severe violations of Airbnb’s Guest Refund Policy, quality standards, and contractual obligations. If Airbnb does not provide a full refund, this will be treated as a breach of both your legal and contractual duties.
## Key Violations and Damages
- **Misrepresentation:** The apartment was windowless except for two small ceiling windows, and the actual condition, furniture, and decor did not match the listing. This directly violates Airbnb’s requirement for accurate listings and constitutes a Reservation Issue under the Guest Refund Policy.
- **Missing/Defective Amenities:**
- No iron provided until after three days and a complaint.
- Only one pillow and towel, with a hidden $30 charge for more.
- No garbage bags, soap, or toilet paper.
- TV was broken and unusable.
- Internet was either non-existent or so slow it was unusable.
- Dangerous bedside lamp and loud air conditioner.
- Unclean bathroom: foul odor, black stains, loose handles.
- Power breaker failed repeatedly, leaving devices uncharged.
- **Safety and Security Hazards:**
- Building entrance left open and unsupervised.
- Apartment door handle detached, compromising safety.
- **Host Misconduct:**
- Disorganized check-in with incorrect instructions.
- Host requested access to the apartment during my stay, breaching privacy and security.
All these issues are documented with photos and videos.
We stayed with 3 people in an apartment…
We stayed with 3 people in an apartment in Guimaraes for 13 nights in July 2025 and had a leakage from the bathroom ceiling for almost the entire stay. The mechanics were very friendly and tried fixing the issue, however the response of the quality team/management team of customer contact service center was very dissappointing. They are not pro active in communication and did not provide another accomodation or provide any cleaning or clean towels for the mess from the leaking or attempted repairs during our stay. We had to clean up the mess, overflow water and whatever fell down fron the ceiling ourselves everyday. After many requests hostwise granted a 10% refund, which after 1 month has not been paid yet. Our stay was overshadowed by this discomfort and frustration of the endless digital communication without results.
