We have an elderly 12 year old lab. He's a happy chap, but poor guy, he has been reall struggling with pain and mobility.
We took him to Hot Doggity, I'll admit, a tad scepticle about massage for dogs (though 100% converted!) but thinking it could do no harm.
Well, it has been a joy to see the effect of Marion's massage. She is clearly highly trained, the massage is not just for the pleasure of the moment. Marion investigates and diagnoses and then treats the areas that are causing the dog problems. After the first treatment there was an improvement in our dog's mobility for a week or two and then after a few sessions the improvements started to last for a month and brought back the occasional skip in his step:)
Our dog loved the massage, Marion has the most wonderful manner with dogs, she is kind, engaging and confident and creats a really special atmosphere for them. One of the most relaxing hours of my week too!

Marion was absolutely brilliant—she helped our dog Cosmo who has severe elbow dysplasia gain greater mobility and comfort. He’s now jumping and running around like a little lamb as if he’d never even had pain in the first place. Cosmo is a rescue dog who can be quite nervous especially with strangers but Marion immediately made him feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed. She’s very knowledgeable, patient, and warm. Cosmo saw Marion for three sessions and we already noticed an improvement after the first. Now he’s like a new dog. We know that eventually he might need surgery and we will trust Marion again with the pre- and post-surgery care if it comes to that or any other flare ups in the meantime. We cannot recommend her highly enough.

My dog, Jazzy is an 11year old rescue from Romania called a "bitser" as he has bits of lots of dogs. He was experiencing shaking back legs and I decided to try massage. He loved going for his massages and his mobility improved. He also began to enjoy being brushed and combed more as he became used to a gentle touches all over. He greets Marian, who gave him his massages, fondly and stops at her house if we're walking by.
Jazzy's was such a positive and helpful experience that I'd recommend Hot Doggity to anyone whose dog is experiencing any difficulties or just struggling with advanced years.
