I was looking for a replacement for coal for my open fire that would burn my hardwood logs. Let's just say I have found that product , HotBriqs . They pack some heat out and with very little ash left in the morning. They are great value for money and the ordering and delivery service is second to none. Thank you all at HotBriqs A++++
Prompt delivery by a very kind driver who stacked them in the shed for me. I will continue to buy these Hotbriqs which in my opinion are great value for money when you consider that delivery is free and the product burns well,good heat output with little residual ash (which can be used on the garden).

Great that you get free delivery when you order a certain amount of bags. We’ve used compressed wood for years but normally get the packs from B&M/Home Bargain - these are much better value.

The fuel provided immediate heat in both my log burner in the lounge and hot tub. In fact it out performed wood in heating the hot tub from 8 degree Celsius to 40 degrees in 1 and half hours. Astonishing!! A bit messy because they are made of compressed wood shavings but really cheap in comparison with wood logs.
