Perfect way to recover from jet leg

We had an amazing time in the baths, and felt so relaxed walking the grounds. The staff was so helpful and kind, they made the experience extra special. Our dinner was exceptional, so fresh and delicious.

Very nice spa

Very nice spa. Nice sauna. We could jump straight in the sea water that we can access through the garden. Lovely garden. I don’t like the salad bar right next to the swimmingpool where food can fall on the floor and make a mess but it’s a personal preference other than that everything is quite nice :) the food and staff at the restaurant were also great!

Amazing.

The bar made us feel at home, with the indulging experience of home away of home. Marcus the bartender of the night, made the night feel like you were as welcome as if a friend took care of you. Absolutely amazing service, although the rooms were mediocre, the service at the bare made the sleep more than worth it.

Crappy Massage with a final Great Response

UPDATE: I received a very pleasant call from Anette the 15th of May '23. She asked me some in-depth questions about my experience, apologised for the delay, and promptly refunded my money. She also asked me to please keep in touch if we ever are in the area again. So, I am upgrading my review to 3 stars (to split the difference between 1 and 5 stars when you include her ultimate response). The massage did suck, however Anette's response was highly professional, kind, and inquisitive. 5 STARS FOR THE RESOLUTION.

I'm writing this review in English to cover as many viewers as possible. My boyfriend and I spent one night at the hotel on 4 March '23. During our stay I booked a 50 minute massage that can only be described as the worst massage I have ever received. To call it a massage would be insulting to actual massages everywhere. And a total waste of 950kr. All she did was rub my limbs in a repetitive motion, deep enough to create a burning feeling on my skin with no actual muscular interaction. She had no idea what she was doing. After my "massage" I politely complained at the spa reception and asked if she was an educated masseuse, only to be told that the treatment they offered was not an actual muscular massage, but a "relaxing treatment". Yeah, right! on the website it clearly states that their massages loosen tensions in muscles and ligaments. I basically paid 950kr to have oil rubbed on my body for 50 minutes.
I wrote to the general manager Anette Steen Nielsen on the 6th of March, explained my dissatisfaction with the treatment, and nicely asked for a refund. No response except for the stock standard Out Of Office, Be Back on Friday mail. I waited. And waited. Then I wrote to her again on the 23rd of March asking for a response. Crickets. From what I can gather here on TP by reading other complaints, she apparently doesn't find it necessary to write people back when they write her personally to complain before they resort to coming here to complain. How professional.
I have also noticed that her modus operandi is to respond to complaints on Trust Pilot with a stock standard "We are sorry to hear about your poor experience. Please contact me." She does this well aware of the fact that after this, we cannot respond or follow up. Total waste of time and money. The spa area and pools are nice if you want to go for a day of relaxation.

Another retreat from HotelVejlefjord

HotelVejlefjord have never failed us in all these years. It is such an amazing place to relax and feel yourself. It is important to nurture your soul so that you can feel your body. This time we chose a week day and it was best decision. Not too many people and we could have most of the spa 🧖‍♀️ for ourselves. Anti age hot message is highly recommended to balance all your chakras and feed with the positive energy so your inner soul can be balanced. Charlotte, a spa practitioner from @hotelvejlefjord is extremely good at what she is doing. She gave me what I wanted - to feel myself again. I am so glad we tried it and my path crossed with Charlotte. One of the best massages I have ever received so far.

Yet another really nice stay

Had yet another really nice stay at Vejlefjod. To me it is one of the biggest and best spas en Europe, and definitely beats anything experienced in Budapest.

Service is great and very attentive. We had to cancel our stay with very short notice due to an accident, and the hotel was really understanding and very helpful in allowing us to find a good solution.

We love this place, and kind of want to keep it to ourselves, but if you are looking for a retreat with a special one, it does not get much better than this.

Saty in a beautiful spahotel

I have visited many spa's in Denmark and Vejlefjord won me over in a heart beat. Planning the stay beforehand with helpful and knowledgeable staff was a joy, and stay topped all my expectations.

We spend 2 nights at the main building. Food at the restaurant was good, and serving was nice and friendly. Maybe not as professional as in fine-dining restaurants, but perfectly fine for this.

Hotel room was bit small, but still very comfortable, though the shower was outdated. Anyways most of the time was spend at the spa itself, so this did not matter. Spa exceeded all my expectations. Everything was clean, water was warm, and variety of different pools was amazing. For a Finnish person like me, sauna's were a bit of a disappointment, but still best ones I have encountered in Denmark. Spa-area offered free fruits and coffee and tea for people, and the quality of them was outstandingly nice. You could spend a whole day int he spa without leaving. Just remember to bring your own magazine/book and sit by the fire place or large windows and enjoy the relaxation.

We had Skovens Aromamassage body massage, and it was fantastic experience. We felt so rested and pampered after it, and got mango sorbet, tea and warm blankets wrapped around us afterwards.

Surroundings are fantastically pretty and suitable for romantic walks and jogging up and down small hills and the sea shore. Greyish November weather did not harm the atmosphere much.

Definitely a place to visit - I have already booked my second stay.
